Objective : This study aims to explain the effect of Soshiho-tang on an nausea which a Taeyangbyeong patient has. Methods : This is a case report on a male patient who has been suffering from nausea which is accompained by anger. According to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions, Soshiho-tang was provided for four weeks. Results : After a series of Soshiho-tang treatments, the patient's symptoms and result improved. Conclusions : This case study showed an effectiveness of using Soshiho-tang according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on nausea.

Objective : This study aims to explain the effect of Osuyu-tang on an acne vulgaris which a Soeumbyeong patient has. Methods : This is a case report on a female patient who has been suffering from acne vulgaris which is not controlled by normal dermatological treatments. According to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions, Osuyu-tang was provided for fifty days. Results : After a series of Osuyu-tang treatments, the patient's symptoms and result of KAGS improved. Conclusions : This case study showed an effectiveness of using Osuyu-tang according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on acne.

Objective : This study aims to explain the effect of Injinho-tang on Eczema which a Yangmyung-byeong patient has. Methods : This is a case report on a female patient who has been suffering from Eczema. According to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions, Injinho-tang was provided for six months. Results : After a series of Injinho-tang treatments, the patient's symptoms and result improved. Conclusions : This case study showed an effectiveness of using Injinho-tang according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on Eczema.

현재 인터넷의 수많은 정보들은 다수의 임의 사용자들을 대장으로 하고 있으므로 각 개안의 다양한 요구 사항을 고려할 수 없고, 이로 인하여 수많은 불필요한 정보를 검색해야 하는 단점을 안고 있다. 하지만 웹 서비스는 기존의 미디어와는 달리 사용자 별로 차별화된 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하는 대량 개별화가 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 개인화 전략을 지원하는 서비스를 구현하기 위하여 사례기반 추론 방식의 한가지 분류인 간접적인 추출기법을 사용하여 사용자의 접속 지역을 추론해내는 시스템을 제안한다.

This study proposes a case based reasoning system with two dimensional reduction techniques. In this study, vertical and horizontal dimensions of the research data are reduced through hybrid feature and instance selection process using genetic algorithms. We applied the proposed model to customer classification model which utilizes customers' demographic characteristics as inputs to predict their buying behavior for the specific product. Experimental results show that the proposed technique may improve the classification accuracy and outperform various optimized models of typical CBR system.

Objective: In this study, we aimed to inform people that acne can be improved with Osuyu-tang (OSYT) based on the Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system (DPIDS). Methods: We evaluated the progress of symptoms, patient compliance, and presence of side effects after the patient took OSYT. The progress of acne treatment was evaluated using the Korean Acne Grading System (KAGS), visual findings, and patient statements. Results: According to the DPIDS, the patient was diagnosed with provision 309 of soyinbing. After administration of OSYTfor 50 days, KAGS decreased from grade 3 to grade 1. Cold hands and feet improved significantly. Conclusions: Through this case study, we showed the possibility of the clinical interpretation and application of OSYT and suggested further case studies in the future.

In this paper, a rule-based (transformation-based) NE recognition system is proposed. This system uses Brill's rule inference approach. The performance of the rule-based system and IdentiFinder, one of most successful stochastic systems, are compared. In the baseline case (no punctuation and no capitalisation), both systems show almost equal performance. They also have similar performance in the case of additional information such as punctuation, capitalisation and name lists. The performances of both systems degrade linearly with the number of speech recognition errors, and their rates of degradation are almost equal. These results show that automatic rule inference is a viable alternative to the HMM-based approach to NE recognition, but it retains the advantages of a rule-based approach.

4년제 공과대학과 전문대학 등의 고등교육기관에서 이루어지는 교육과정과 자격 검정제도를 연계하려는 여러 선행 연구들이 진행되어 왔지만 실제적으로 실행되는 경우는 매우 드문 실정이다. 교육과 자격의 가장 이상적인 연계 방법은 교육과정과 자격검정의 통합 운영이라고 볼 수 있지만 교육기관에 대한 검증과 자격제도에서 갖추어야 할 제반 요소들이 선행되어야만 한다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 현재 시행되고 있는 과정평가형 자격제도와 교육과정의 질관리 체계로 작동하고 있는 공학교육인증 평가를 비교 분석하고, 공학교육인증과 과정평가형 자격을 동시에 운영하고 있는 K 대학의 사례를 통해 교육과 자격이 연계될 수 있음을 검토한다. 이러한 분석 결과를 반영하여 공학교육인증을 획득한 프로그램이 과정평가형 편성 기준을 만족하는 교육과정을 운영할 경우 이를 이수한 학생들에게 자격을 부여할 수 있는 인증평가형 자격제도를 제안한다.

Practical applications of learning systems usually involve complex domains exhibiting nonlinear behavior and dilution by noise. Consequently, an intelligent system must be able to adapt to nonlinear processes as well as probabilistic phenomena. An important class of application for a knowledge based systems in prediction: forecasting the future trajectory of a process as well as the consequences of any decision made by e system. This paper examines the robustness of data mining tools under varying levels of noise while predicting nonlinear processes in the form of chaotic behavior. The evaluated models include the perceptron neural network using backpropagation (BPN), the recurrent neural network (RNN) and case based reasoning (CBR). The concepts are crystallized through a case study in predicting a Henon process in the presence of various patterns of noise.

Objectives : This case report presents the effect of Galgunhwangryunhwanggum-tang on dysmenorrhea. The patient was diagnosed with Taeyang-byung based on Shanghanlun provisions. Methods : According to Shanghanlun seven meridian patterns diagnostic system, we diagnosed the patient as Taeyang-byung and she has been suffering from dysmenorrhea. The patient was treated with Galgunhwangryunhwanggum-tang. and it was provided for 2 months. Results : After the treatment, the degree of dysmenorrhea reduced from 10 to 2 on VAS. Conclusions : This case study show an effectiveness of using Galgunhwangryunhwanggum-tang according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on hyperhidrosis.
