Objectives : This study is to report a case of tinea pedis accompanied with erythema and pruritus, treated with Korean medicine treatment. Methods : A 26-year-old female patient has suffered from erythema and pruritus on her right 3rd toe. She applied desoximetasone ointment on it for a month, but the effect didn't last long and the symptoms got worse. After disappointing application of the corticosteroid, she received Korean medicine treatment including herbal medicine and herbal external medication for 1.5 months. Results : The skin symptoms such as erythema and pruritus were remarkably improved. Also, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) of pruritus changed from 4 to 0. Conclusions : This case report suggests that Korean medicine may have a role in treating tinea pedis with some skin symptoms such as erythema and pruritus.

We report an unusual case of angioedema induced by intravenous oxaliplatin in a patient with rectal cancer. Intravenous oxaliplatin was administered to the patient according to FOLFOX regimen (oxaliplatin/leucovorin/5-fluorouracil) for the management of his colorectal carcinoma. The patient had been on FOLFOX regimen for several months without reporting any adverse effects, but he experienced angioedema suddenly during his $9^{th}$ cycle of chemotherapy. Angioedema was observed about 2 hours after the initiation of oxaliplatin infusion. Oxaliplatin was stopped then the patient became stable. This case report demonstrates that intravenous oxaliplatin may induce angioedema several hours after the initiation of oxaliplatin infusion in later cycles of chemotherapy.

Root coverage can be an efficacious treatment not only in aspect of dental symptoms like root caries and hypersensitivity, but also in aspect of esthetic problem. There are several predictable methods for gaining a connective tissue attachment to an exposed root surface. Among them, this case report will deal with three cases using enamel matrix derivative and connective tissue graft to recover esthetic and physiological periodontal environment and its form. This case report deals with three patients with gingival recession which has occurred by different causes. They were treated with de-epithelialized graft accompanied by application of enamel matrix derivative. 6-12 months later, all three patients showed considerable root coverage and clinically stable condition of healing. In conclusion, within the limitation of this study, de-epithelialized connective tissue graft accompanied by application of enamel matrix derivative shows stable and clinical acceptable results in aspect of root coverage.

The Objective of this study is to report the results of greater trochanteric pain syndrome (GTPS) patient with Korean medicine therapy. There were insufficient clinical trials and case reports of GTPS treated with Korean medicine, we report the GTPS case remarkably improved treatment results. We treated the patient with acupuncture, acupotomy, pharmacopuncture, Chuna manual therapy and herbal medication. To evaluate the treatment effects, we used the measures including Verbal numerical rating scale, Oswestry disability index and Victorian Institute of Sport Assessment-gluteal tendinopathy scale. After total of 26 days of treatment, the patient's hip pain and disability were greatly reduced, and the outcome measures showed this great improvement. Korean medicine therapy might be effective in GTPS, although further study is needed to determine the role for Korean medicine.

Herein, we describe the case of a 20-year-old woman who presented with dysphagia of 2 months' duration associated with vomiting, moderate abdominal pain, decreased oral intake, and significant weight loss. During the past 3 years, the patient experienced intermittent mild abdominal pain with infrequent vomiting. Endoscopy at Jordan University Hospital showed a mass in the esophagus, and endoscopic biopsies were performed. The preliminary histopathological report excluded malignancy. Two days after endoscopy, the patient presented to the emergency department complaining of severely worsening pain and total dysphagia. The pain persisted despite intravenous paracetamol administration, which was concerning for esophageal perforation; therefore, an urgent surgical intervention was performed. The mass was removed surgically, along with a para-esophageal lymph node. The final histopathological results of the endoscopic and resected specimens supported the diagnosis of pseudomyogenic hemangioendothelioma (PMHE). This is the first case reporting esophageal involvement of PMHE.

Bacterial infection of skeletal muscle can lead to the formation of abscesses. Primary pyomyositis is typically seen in tropical countries, and Staphylococcus aureus is the commonest causative organism. We present a case of acute adductor magnus muscle abscess (pyomyositis) with spread to adjacent thigh compartments via the perforators without iliopsoas muscle involvement. Due to the involvement of the entire thigh compartment, systemic antibiotic treatment alone was insufficient, whereas surgical drainage improved the clinical picture. The aetiological organism was S. aureus. Herein, we report the case of a patient who had primary pyomyositis, rather than a secondary type, that spread to the posterior and lateral aspect of the thigh through the second and third perforators, which pierce the adductor magnus muscle belly before entering the femur.

Abdominal wall hematoma (AWH) after blunt trauma is common, and most cases can be treated conservatively. More invasive treatment is required in patients with traumatic AWH if active bleeding is identified or there is no response to medical treatment. Herein, we report a case of endovascular embolization for traumatic subcutaneous AWH. Almost endovascular treatment for AWH is done through the deep inferior epigastric artery. However, in this case, the superficial inferior epigastric artery was the bleeding focus and embolization target. After understanding the vascular system of the abdominal wall, an endovascular approach and embolization is a safe and effective treatment option for AWH.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report a case of lymphadenopathy and hearing loss in a patient after coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) vaccination. Methods: The patient diagnosed as lymphadenopathy and hearing loss(sensorineural hearing loss) after the first and second rounds of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination. We applied Korean medical treatment including herbal medicine and acupuncture for lymphadenopathy and SSNHL. We used VAS(Visual Analog Scale), CT-scan and Pure Tone Audiometry to estimate they symptoms. Results: After the treatment, general symptoms of lymphadenopathy and hearing loss including aural fullness showed big improvement. Conclusions: This case report shows effect of Korean medicine on lymphadenopathy and SSNHL and suggests a possibility of Korean medicine to treat adverse events following COVID-19 vaccination.

Objective: Malunion of distal radial fracture can result in pain, stiffness, and decreased function of the affected limb. Occupational therapy intervention can improve outcomes in these patients, but there is limited research on the effectiveness of such interventions. Case Description: This case report describes the occupational therapy intervention and outcomes for a 44-year-old female patient with malunion of left distal radial fracture. The patient received 8 weeks of occupational therapy intervention consisting of therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, and fine motor activities. The patient demonstrated significant improvements in range of motion, grip strength, and activities of daily living (ADL) in her left hand. The patient also reported less pain and greater ease in performing activities of daily living. Conclusion: Occupational therapy intervention can be effective in improving outcomes for patients with malunion of distal radial fracture. This case report highlights the importance of early intervention and interdisciplinary collaboration among healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Further research is needed to explore the effectiveness of occupational therapy interventions for patients with malunion of distal radial fracture.

Objectives This case study aimed to report the improvement of stress-induced generalized primary hyperhidrosis of Soyangin patient. Methods Soyangin patient suffering from daylong generalized primary hyperhidrosis was treated with acupuncture, psychological counseling, and herbal medicine. The severity of hyperhidrosis was measured using Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Results & Conclusions After treatment with Tae-Geuk acupuncture, Dojeokganggi-tang, and psychological counseling, the VAS score of hyperhidrosis was reduced from 10 to 2 during three days of admission. Herbal medicine was prescribed for 30 more days after discharge. The relieved state was maintained when monitored after two months. This case report proposes the potential of Sasang constitutional medicine for stress-induced generalized primary hyperhidrosis.
