This paper presents a model for R&D project selection and evaluation system design developed through literature review. The model emphasizes the fitness between the five elements of the system : evaluation phase and purpose, personnel and organization, evaluation critiria and decision model, evaluation form and procedure, and projects. The model was applied in real situation as a test case. The important findings are that a good project selection and evaluation model contributes only partially to the effectiveness of the project selection and that system development and implementation activity is a dynamic and multi-facetted learning process.

This study was aimed to review the trend of case reports of neuropsychiatry disease. The case reports were collected by retrieving Journal of Oriental Neuropsychiatry and analyzing period were from 1990 to 2010. We analyzed them for publish year, research institution, patients, sorts of diseases, pattern identification diagnosis, instrument, treatment period, sorts of treatments, and treatment with western medicine. We analyzed 142 case reports and there were many kinds of neuropsychiatry diseases and instruments that were evaluated the process. The reserchers used various treatment with oriental medicine. However, the number of case reports have decreased since the year of 2008. Most of the research institutions were university and general oriental medical hospital and the portion of private hospitals was only 2.11%. For the development of practical clinical trial of oriental medicine, we needs more qualifying case report. We hope more reserchers for psychiatry disease of oriental medicine will be interested in the publication of case report and this will serve to produce advance of oriental medicine.

환경 관련 문제에 대한 관심이 고조됨에 따라, 국민의 건강 및 생명 보호를 위한 각국의 SPS조치는 국가 간 자유무역이라는 WTO의 주요원칙에 역행하는 규제적인 무역관행을 낳고 있다. 그러나 분쟁 발생 시 패널이 회원국의 조치를 심사하는데 필요한 심사기준과 관련된 규정은 SPS협정에 존재하지 않는다. 뿐만 아니라 과학적 실험, 데이터 등과 밀접한 관련이 있는 협정의 특성으로 인하여, 본 협정에 적합한 심사기준에 대해서는 상반된 의견들이 대립하고 있으며 실제 분쟁사례에서도 일관된 기준이 적용되고 있지 못하다. 국가차원에서 결론 내려진 사실적, 법적 판단을 패널이 심사할 때 적용하는 심사기준은, 당국의 결정을 패널이 존중하는 정도에 따라 '적극적 개입(de novo review) 기준'과 '존중(deference) 기준'이라는 두 가지의 대립적인 기준으로 나누어질 수 있다, 이 두 가지 대립적인 기준을 중심으로, 본 논문에서는 WTO협정에서 규정하고 있는 심사기준을 검토하고 SPS 협정에 적합하게 적용할 수 있는 심사기준을 모색하고자 한다. 그리고 최근 US-Hormones Suspension 사건 판결에서 적용한 심사기준을 분석하여 SPS협정에 적용 가능한 심사기준이 어떠한 방향으로 정립되고 있는지 살펴보고자 한다.

The current study aimed to explore the types and frequencies of uncommon complications associated with third molar extractions based on a scoping review of case reports and case series. The study used an electronic literature search based on PubMed and Embase up to March 31, 2020, with an update performed on October 22, 2021. Any case reports and case series that reported complications associated with third molar extractions were included. The types of complications were grouped and the main symptoms of each type of complication were summarized. A total of 51 types of uncommon complications were identified in 248 patients from 186 studies. Most types of complications were post-operative. In the craniofacial and cervical regions, the most frequent complications included iatrogenic displacement of the molars or root fragments in the craniofacial area, late mandibular fracture, and subcutaneous emphysema. In other regions, the most frequent complications include pneumomediastinum, pneumorrhachis, pneumothorax, and pneumopericardium. Of the patients, 37 patients had life-threatening uncommon complications and 20 patients had long-term/irreversible uncommon complications associated with third molar extractions. In conclusion, a variety of uncommon complications associated with third molar extractions were identified. Most complications occurred in the craniofacial and cervical regions and were mild and transient.

This article provides an overview of the state of affairs of arbitrator disclosure obligations in Korea. It shows how Korean courts will analyze arbitrator conflicts and obligations through an evaluation of Supreme Court judgments and a case-specific analysis of the recent Oilhub case and provides a comparative perspective through a review of recent Japanese case law. Although limited to domestic arbitrations, it assesses the various grounds that courts consider when determining impermissible arbitrator conflicts based on relations with parties and when an award might be set aside as a result. With the 2016 adoption of the KCAB Code of Ethics for Arbitrators and its rigorous standards, great clarity has been brought to the landscape. The Code of Ethics marks a significant milestone in enhancing the robustness of arbitrator disclosures and guaranteeing the fairness, integrity, and transparency of Korean arbitration practice and law.

Objectives: In the past, the pharmaceutical drug heparin was mostly used as the anticoagulant for continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), but the duration time is long to have the risk of a bleeding adverse effect, and in that case the drug therapy Nafamostat mesilate was utilized instead, as it is more safe in this case, with a short half-life and is increasing in use to permit lower concerns for bleeding incidents. However, there are insufficient number of large-scale studies on the comparison of Nafamostat mesilate and heparin. Methods: In this study, a systematic review are used to compare the bleeding risk of Nafamostat mesilate and Heparin, as subjected to patients and procedures for measuring risks performed with a CRRT, and the filter life span is to be evaluated as well in this patients. Results: As a result of literature review search, a total of 6 studies were included in systematic review. The reducing risk of bleeding and filter life span was analyzed. The retrospective cohort studies confirm that Nafamostat mesilate is less at risk of bleeding than heparin. And a cohort study confirms that Nafamostat mesilate is longer filter lifespan than heparin and randomized controlled trial studies show that Nafamostat mesilate is longer filter lifespan than not using the anticoagulants. Conclusion: Nafamostat mesilate is considered to be a good therapeutic option because it has a longer filter life span as well as the advantage of reducing bleeding.

This review examined and analyzed clinical research trends in the treatment of compression fractures in traditional Korean medicine using case studies. Accordingly, 5 web databases were searched using relevant Korean and English terms. Based on predefined exclusion and inclusion criteria, 16 case studies were selected, analyzed, and classified according to the journal, publication year, participants, chief complaints, affected vertebrae, treatment and evaluation methods, and improvement. The case studies reported various treatment methods, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, physical therapy, cupping, moxibustion, and band training. All 16 case studies reported the use of combination therapy. All 23 cases reported in these case studies demonstrated improvement in chief complaints, and none reported any side effects.

As users of internet-based software applications increase, functional and non-functional problems for software applications are quickly exposed to user reviews. These user reviews are an important source of information for software improvement. User review mining has become an important topic of intelligent software engineering. This study proposes a user review mining method for software improvement. User review data collected by crawling on the app review page is analyzed to check user satisfaction. It analyzes the sentiment of positive and negative that users feel with a machine learning method. And it analyzes user requirement issues through topic analysis based on structural topic modeling. The user review mining process proposed in this study conducted a case study with the a non-face-to-face video conferencing app. Software improvement through user review mining contributes to the user lock-in effect and extending the life cycle of the software. The results of this study will contribute to providing insight on improvement not only for developers, but also for service operators and marketing.
