Digital technology has been changing everyday life of ordinary people let alone the structure of world industry. The elderly care service is also going through changes influenced by the unavoidable impact from torrents of digital technologies. There are numerous reports and news about the digital technologies increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of care service yet lacking systematic understanding of the sources of such improvement. This study aims to present a new classification framework for digital elderly care service innovation to fully utilize the power of digital technologies drawing on insights from innovation studies and service studies. First, 4 features of digital technologies are identified as sources of new value in service innovation. The co-creation of value by users and producers in service and technology development is discussed to illuminate users' contributions to service innovation. Communication of needs and ideas with producers and application of new technologies into everyday practice of life are identified as the source of new value which can be attributed to the elderly. Customization along with efficiency gains is the key to digital elderly care service innovation. The classification framework, thus, incorporates the needs of the elderly as one axis of criteria in the conventional technology-centered framework. The new classification framework would help give due weight to user-driven or demand-driven innovation in the elderly care service R&D activities.

Background: This article reviewed the current status of home-based physical therapy infrastructure in long term care insurance and then solved the problem. Method: We used two forms of data that were acquired from ⅰ) the Ministry of Health & Welfare and the Family and National Health Insurance Corporation, ⅱ) a home-visiting health care program, and ⅲ) evaluation data from the Korea Health Industry Development Institute. The home-based physical therapy program was then analyzed. Results: The role and concept of home-based physical therapy was not clearly established. There were few home-based physical therapy programs in the community. The manpower of home-based physical therapists in the home-visiting health care program was very low. The role between home-visiting nurses (caregivers) and home-based physical therapists was mixed. Research and promotion regarding home-based physical therapy was poor. Conclusion: To establish a system of legal, long-term care insurance, we must increase the manpower of home-based physical therapists and the amount of research pertaining to the demand for home-based physical therapy.

The purpose of this study is to draw implications and critical success factors by surveying and analysing practice cases of green care in south Korea. To achieve the object of this study, many valuable cases were checked through preceding researches and internet informations. Case study targets were divided into side-work farmer type, professional farmer type, and Institution directed type, and then case study surveys were performed by each type. Every case has the natural environment in common, and tries to satisfy users's demands and to give the opportunity to communicate. Especially, the strong motivation, mind, and entrepreneurship of operators are very important factors for green care. If the development of government supporting policies and related education programs are accompanied with lots of potential such as Korean oriental medicine, rural tourism village, and sixth industry project, it will be possible to introduce and manage green care successfully.

Korea currently provides long-term care benefits for the elderly with poor functionality, but most of the service providers are private businesses. This is the time when quality management of care services is required, which is just around the corner of the super-aged era. In this study, we would like to look at the case in which 'A company', which operates a long-term care institution, attempted to make voluntary changes ahead of social demands. The company tried to transform the social needs of quality management by judging them as opportunities, not threats, and establishing an integrated database of centers. First, the company processed data and built a cloud-based database system. Second, the company automatically linked data from existing systems for the efficiency of data utilization. Third, the company pursued visualization for the convenience of data utilization. This allowed the company to make data-driven strategic decisions internally. This is expected to increase sales as it will soon lead to securing new customers and pioneering new markets. It is also significant in that it can provide best practices for the long-term care industry.

COVID-19가 전 세계를 휩쓸면서 지금까지만 해도 4,500만명 이상의 확진자와 100만 명이 넘는 사망자가 발생했고, 당분간 이런 상황이 계속될 것으로 보인다. 특히 이탈리아나 스페인 등을 비롯한 유럽의 경우에는 감염자의 절반 이상이 요양시설에서 발생했고, 미국에서도 노인요양시설에서 4천여 명이 사망한 것으로 보고되고 있다. 때문에 포스트코로나 이후에 당면하게 될 문제는 집단돌봄에 대한 근본적 해결 요구와 가정 중심 서비스로의 이동에 있게 될 것이다. 특히 ICT 등 4차 산업 기술을 접목한 가정중심돌봄, 즉 초 기술을 기반으로 하는 커뮤니티 케어의 정착과 확장에 관한 논의가 점점 더 활발해질 것으로 보인다. 이로 인하여 4차 산업과 사회보장·사회복지를 어떻게 구체적으로 결합할 것인가라는 과제가 주어진다. 이른바 스마트웰페어시티를 어떻게 만들어 국민의 사회보장과 복지에 기여할 것인가가 바로 그것이라고 할 것이다. 이러한 상황에서 본 논문은 선행연구에서 다루었던 사회보장플랫폼에 관한 내용 중 그 기능과 범위 및 스마트웰페어시티 개념의 확정과 확장가능성을 통해 비대면 돌봄의 개념과 범위 및 내용 등을 고찰하였다. 이는 우리 사회가 지향하고자 하는 사회보장·사회복지영역에서의 스마트시티를 구현함으로써 커뮤니티 케어나 Aging in Place를 실현하고자 하는데 나름의 중요한 의미를 가지는 것이라고 판단된다. 다만 비대면 돌봄서비스의 구현을 위한 정책적, 법·제도적 관점에서의 구체적 방안이 무엇인지에 대해 다루지 못하고 있는 점은 아쉬운 부분이며 향후 이에 대한 연구가 필요하다는 점에서 한계가 있음을 밝혀둔다. 본고에서 다루고 있는 내용들이 스마트웰페어시티 뿐 아니라 행정·실천·법제 등을 비롯한 사회보장·사회복지체제 내지 전달체계 등에서의 방향과 미래상을 제시하고, 궁극적으로는 인간의 삶의 질 향상이라는 목표를 달성하는데 기여할 수 있기를 기대해 본다.

The aim of this study was to determine the therapeutic effects of beauty care on negative mental health, including stress and depression. Nail care, massage care, and makeup were used as programs for beauty therapy. Qualitative research was conducted with six female participants over five-month period. After interviewing the subjects in advance, beauty care treatments were performed every week 4 weeks in the following order: nail care, massage, and makeup. The results are as follows, First, the participants perceived beauty care in the form of 4 concepts: "courtesy in social life," "investment in oneself," "self-satisfaction," and "self-care." Second, the effects of beauty therapy were categorized as "psychological effects," "confidence," "behavioral changes," "evaluation of others," and "positive social effects." Third, each subject showed different psychological effects during the process when the function of the therapy took effect through the beauty care treatment. It was confirmed that confidence levels increased as a result of treatment through the process of becoming re-aware of oneself. Positive statements from the participants included: "I want to go out," "I have become kind and positive to others," "I have become more active in a given task," and "It seems that my work ability is improving." Finally, t-test results for self-esteem, depression, and stress showed there were significant differences in self-esteem and depression. This confirmed that self-esteem increased, and depression decreased after the beauty care treatment.

The health industry is highly value-added, compared to other industries. The reason is that increase of income growth and the expanded human life expectancy bring about positively needs of products at health industry. This is related with increase in expenses of health care and R&D investment of health industry. After 1995, the share of GDP at drug & biomedical industry is increased. Especially, the share of GDP at biomedical is 0.12% in 1995 1$^{st}$ quarter, but 0.17% in 2002 3$^{rd}$ quarter, 0.24% in 2008. Biomedical's contribution about GDP growth is to jump into 6.01% in 2008. The share of GDP at drug will continuously expand, compared to other manufacture industries. Also, drug's contribution about GDP growth will increase, compared with before. Conclusionally, total shares of GDP at drug St biomedical industry are to increase, compared with before. Also, this health industry's contribution is to expand as value-added industry and increase of sales.
