大巡伦理思想以"一道""二山""三界"为信仰要素, 建构一套生命宗教的新型伦理形态。其中, "一道"即姜甑山"大巡"天下所传"真理", 亦即大巡伦理思想之基本道德原则, 内容为"阴阳合德, 神人调化, 解冤相生, 道通真境" ; "二山"为大巡真理会之信仰对象, 即"教主"姜甑山和"道主"赵鼎山 ; "三界"为大巡道德关怀的涵括天地人在内的生命视域。围绕其宗教道德原则, 大巡真理会以"诚, 敬, 信"为"三要谛", 以"安心, 安身, 敬天, 修道"为"四纲领", 将其"一道"的伦理要旨, 转化为终极信仰的道德要求与人伦日用的行为规范, 进而对道人之身心修行工夫与神明交互感应做出宗教礼仪规制, 再从个人修道之"道通真境", 人神皆尊协同, 以及道信众生共建"地上仙境"道出其伦理价值理想。大巡伦理思想与佛, 耶, 道诸教相较, 具有三大精神特质 : "三界相生"的整体性, "人神皆尊"的协同性, 以及"地上天国"的入世性。

It is difficult for observers to conduct an optical alignment at an observatory without the assistance of an optical engineer if optomechanical parts are to be replaced at night. We present a practical tilt correction method to obtain the optimal optical alignment condition using the symmetricity of optical aberrations of a wide-field on-axis telescope at night. We conducted coarse tilt correction by visually examining the symmetry of two representative star shapes obtained at two guide chips facing each other, such as east-west or north-south pairs. After coarse correction, we observed four sets of small stamp images using four guide cameras located at each cardinal position by changing the focus positions in 10-㎛ increments and passing through the optimum focus position in the range of ±200 ㎛. The standard deviation of each image, as a function of the focus position, was fitted with a second-order polynomial function to derive the optimal focus position at each cardinal edge. We derived the tilt angles from the slopes converted by the distance and the focus position difference between two paired guide chip combinations such as east-west and north-south. We used this method to collimate the on-axis wide-field telescope KMTNet in Chile after replacing two old focus actuators. The total optical alignment time was less than 30 min. Our method is practical and straightforward for maintaining the optical performance of wide-field telescopes such as KMTNet.

Purpose: Outcomes between primary gastrostomy tubes and buttons (G-tube and G-button) have not been established in pediatric patients. We hypothesized that primary G-tube have decreased complications when compared to G-button. Methods: A retrospective review of surgically placed gastrostomy devices from 2010 to 2017 was performed. Data collected included demographics, outcomes and 90-day complications. We divided the patients into primary G-tube and primary G-button. Results: Of 265 patients, 142 (53.6%) were male. Median age and weight at the time of surgery were 7 months (interquartile range [IQR], 2-44 months) and 6.70 kg (IQR, 3.98-14.15 kg), respectively. Among the groups, G-tube had 80 patients (30.2%) while G-button 185 patients (69.8%). There were 153 patients with at least one overall complication within 90 days postoperative. There was no significant difference in overall complications between groups (G-tube 63.8% vs. G-button 55.7%, p=0.192). More importantly, there were no significant differences in major complications among the groups, G-tube vs. G-button (5% vs. 4%; p=0.455). Conclusion: Primary G-tube offers no significant advantage in overall, minor or major complications when compared to primary G-button.

Thyrotoxic periodic paralysis (PP) is the most common acquired form of PP in Asian populations, and its cardinal and biochemical abnormality is hypokalemia. We describe a 39-year-old man who had acute bilateral limb motor weakness and paresthesia, and showed normokalemia during attack. Thyroid studies showed subclinical thyrotoxic Goiter. Control of the hyperthyroidism nearly eliminated his PP. Regardless of normokalemia, our patient might be a case of hypokalemic PP because of improvement from anti-thyroid medication.

Severe root rot was observed in fields of cabbages (Brassica oleracea L.) in 2015 in China. Cardinal symptoms of this disease included root rot and wilting leaves. A fungus was isolated from diseased tissues consistently. Based on the morphological features and molecular analysis of the ITS-5.8S rDNA and D1/D2 domain of the 28S rRNA gene, it was identified as Plectosphaerella cucumerina. This is the first report of P. cucumerina causing cabbage root rot in China and the world.

본 논문에서는 함정의 피탐지 성능 개선을 위한 기초 연구로 dead time 적용시 탈자 프로토콜 변화에 따른 탈자 성능 분석에 관한 연구를 하였다. 함정의 재질은 SM45C로 원통의 형태이다. 자기장 측정에 사용한 자기센서는 영국 Bartington Instruments사의 MAG-03MCB70(Three-Axis Fluxgate Magnetometer)을 사용하였으며, inter-cardinal run 방법을 이용하여 유도자기장과 영구자기장을 분리하였다. Anhyteretic deperm 프로토콜을 적용하여 탈자를 진행하였고 전류의 지속시간이 증가하는 경우에 비하여 dead time을 적용하였을 경우 탈자 성능이 향상된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

In ancient times, respiration's perceived purpose was only to cool the blood, and nasal mucus was thought to be a discharge from the brain. Later it was demonstrated that fluids cannot travel from the brain to the nose. It appears that credit for pointing out the medical significance of bronchial secretions and the biological value of the exocrine function of the lungs belongs to Laennec. He described the “chronic idiopathic pituitous catarrh” known today as bronchorrhea, which is characterized by paroxysms of expectoration. The importance of all this is that airway secretions, and their alterations, became one of the cardinal signs of many respiratory diseases (1).

Throughout the paper let A be a semifinite, infinite von Neumann algebra acting on a Hilbert space H, .alpha. an infinite cardinal. The main purpose of our work is to give several characterizations of a class of closed ideals in A, by introducing the notions of relative ranks of elements in A and the relative .alpha.-topology on H. The relative .alphi.-topology is an analogue to the .alpha.-topology that we have defined in ([7], [8]). The present work is regarded as an extension of [7], [8] and motivated by works of M. Breuer ([1], [2]), V. Kaftal ([5], [6]) and M.G. Sonis [9].

Lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) is a common spinal disease in the elderly. The cardinal symptom of LSS is neurogenic claudication, but not all patients present with such typical symptom. The clinical symptoms are often confused with symptoms of peripheral neuropathy, musculo-skeletal disease and other medical conditions in elderly patients. In particular, LSS presenting with rapid progression of leg weakness must be distinguished from other combined diseases. We report a case of rapid progressive leg weakness in a patient with LSS and iatrogenic adrenal insufficiency that was induced by obscure health supplement.

Junctional neurulation represents the most recent adjunct to the well-known sequential embryological processes of primary and secondary neurulation. While its exact molecular processes, occurring at the end of primary and the beginning of secondary neurulation, are still being actively investigated, its pathological counterpart -junctional neural tube defect (JNTD)- had been described in 2017 based on three patients whose well-formed secondary neural tube, the conus, is widely separated from its corresponding primary neural tube and functionally disconnected from corticospinal control from above. Several other cases conforming to this bizarre neural tube arrangement have since appeared in the literature, reinforcing the validity of this entity. The cardinal clinical, neuroimaging, and electrophysiological features of JNTD, and the hypothesis of its embryogenetic mechanism, form part of this review.
