Efficient Key Detection Method in the Correlation Electromagnetic Analysis Using Peak Selection Algorithm

  • A side channel analysis is a very efficient attack against small devices such as smart cards and wireless sensor nodes. In this paper, we propose an efficient key detection method using a peak selection algorithm in order to find the advanced encryption standard secret key from electromagnetic signals. The proposed method is applied to a correlation electromagnetic analysis (CEMA) attack against a wireless sensor node. Our approach results in increase in the correlation coefficient in comparison with the general CEMA. The experimental results show that the proposed method can efficiently and reliably uncover the entire 128-bit key with a small number of traces, whereas some extant methods can reveal only partial subkeys by using a large number of traces in the same conditions.

Initiation of embryogenic callus from mature zygotic embryos in Japanese larch (Larix kaempferi)

  • Embryogenic callus (EC) was created from mature embryos of Larix kaempferi. With the mature embryos, keeping the culture in dark conditions throughout the experiment (38.2%) seemed to give better results than exposing them to 16 h light ($25{\mu}Em^{-2}s^{-1}$) for the first week (21.9%). EC was obtained most frequently from Quoirin and Lepoivre (LP) mediums with 1.0 mg/L 4-amino-3,5,6-trichloropicolinic acid (Picloram), plus 1.0 mg/L benzyladenine (BA) (62.8%) or Litvay's medium (LM) containing 1.0 mg/L p-chlorophenoxyacetic acid (pCPA) plus 1.0 mg/L BA (62.8%) treatment. In both cases, best results were obtained when zygotic embryos were cultured in darkness. As for the effective sucrose concentration on initiation of EC, 29.2 mM sucrose (38.6%) gave the best results.

  • 기업의 가치평가방법은 DCF법을 비롯하여 OPM, 증권거래법에 의한 본질가치평가방법, 상속세법에 의한 재산가치평가방법, 비교법, 일정성장배당모형 등 여러가지가 있다. 이중 각 평가방법은 특정한 목적을 가지고 탄생된 것이나 영리를 위한 기업의 가치를 평가하여 그 결과를 M&A나 A&D 또는 경영의 지표로 이용하려할 때 그 편파성 때문에 목적을 달성하기 어렵다. 따라서 본고에서는 그들의 균형을 취하는 평가방법을 알아보고, 장기적인 차원에서의 경영을 전제로 벤처기업자금조달과 맞물려있는 경영권 방어에 대하여 살피므로써 벤처기업인들이 안정적인 경영을 수행하거나 창업초기에 일찍 경영에 대한 분명한 목표를 설정하고 자신의 역량을 생산적인 곳에 사용할 수 있게 할 수 있는 틀을 제시해 본다.

A Development of 3-D Resolution Algorithm for Aircraft Collision Avoidance

  • Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) is designed to enhance safety in aircraft operations, by reducing the incidences of mid-air collision between aircraft. The current version of TCAS provides only vertical resolution advisory to the pilots, if an aircraft's collision with another is predicted to be imminent, while efforts to include horizontal resolution advisory have been made, as well. This paper introduces a collision resolution algorithm, which includes both vertical and horizontal avoidance maneuvers of aircraft. Also, the paper compares between the performance of the proposed algorithm and that of algorithms with only vertical or horizontal avoidance maneuver of aircraft.

  • In December 1999, the AICPA introduced WebTrust, a electronic commerce assurance service of ensuring safe trading on the web, in order to effect consumer confidence into electronic commerce. Shortly afterwards, CPA associations of other advanced nations, such as Canada, Australia, also adopted this service. This study focuses on introduction of electronic commerce assurance service of ensuring safe trading on the web. WebTrust assurance service expected to be the international standard in electronic commerce in the near future and not only as a source of income for domestic accounting firms, which have simpler income structure than the international counterparts, but also as catalyst for stimulating electronic commerce. The findings of the study are expected to contribute to accounting practice, academy of accounting and electronic commerce firms in the following ways. Domestically, as Korea is considering using the electronic commerce assurance service, this study will help promote adoption of WebTrust assurance service. This study has shown, in the midst of declining income of accounting firms by audit, a way to increase their audit boundary.

  • Evaluating the risk of collision quantitatively plays a key role in developing the expert system of navigation and collision avoidance. This study analysed the existing methods of appraising the collision risk, examined the problem that are intrinsic to them, and developed a new approach to its evaluation by using the sech function as an alternative to them. This paper applied the new method in appraising the collision risk and suggested how to decide the safe range of ownship's action.

  • 정보의 암호화와 인증, 디지털 서명등에 효율적인 공개키 암호 시스템의 주 연산은 모듈라 멱승 연산이며 이는 모듈라 곱셈의 연속적인 반복 수행으로 표현될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 Montgomery 모듈라 곱셈 알고리즘을 사용하여 모듈라 곱셈을 효율적으로 수행하기 위한 모듈라 멱승 연산기를 구현하였으며 Montgomery 모듈라 곱셈시 발생하는 케리 진파 문제를 해결하기 위하여 CPA을 대신하는 CSA를 사용함으로써 멱승 연산시 발생하는 지연시간을 최소화시키는 결과가 얻어짐을 보였다. 본 논문에서는 Montgomery 모듈라 멱승 연산기 구현을 위하여 VHDL 구조적 모델링을 통하여 Synopsys사의 VSS와 Design analyzer를 이용한 논리 합성을 하였고 Mentor Graphics사 Model sim 및 Xilinx사 Design manager의 FPGA 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 성능을 검증 하였다.

The Study on the Tattoo Image and Appearance Satisfaction according to the Self-Esteem (자아존중감 유형에 따른 타투이미지와 외모만족도 연구)

  • The present study analyzed the tattoo image and body satisfaction according to the self-esteem. The samples were consisted of 191 female college students located in Kyunggi-do. The survey was implemented during may~july, 2012. Data were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, t-test, CPA, and Duncan-test. The results are as follows. Significant difference about tattoo image and body satisfaction was found in the group divided by the self-esteem. 'Individual personality' group had a tendency to be higher level than other group about appearance satisfaction and to be better image about Tattoo. 'Ego-centrism' group showed low level about good image of Tattoo. However, that group more satisfied their appearances than other groups. 'passive management' group showed lower level than other group about positive Tattoo image-building.

  • 최근 사물인터넷 기술의 발전과 함께 하드웨어 디바이스에서 측정하는 센싱 데이터를 보호하기 위해 다양한 방식의 암호화 알고리즘을 채택하고 있다. 그 중 전 세계에서 가장 많이 사용하는 암호화 알고리즘인 AES(Advanced Encryption Standard) 또한 강력한 안전성을 바탕으로 많은 디바이스에서 사용되고 있다. 하지만 AES 알고리즘은 DPA(Differential Power Analysis), CPA(Correlation Power Analysis) 같은 부채널 분석 공격에 취약하다는 점이 발견되었다. 본 논문에서는 부채널 분석 공격대응방법 중 가장 널리 알려진 마스킹 기법을 적용한 AES 알고리즘의 소프트웨어 최적화 구현 기법을 제시한다.
