  • 무선 센서 네트워크는 제한적인 자원을 가지고 동작되는 작은 센서들로 구성되어 있다. 이러한 무선 센서노드들은 초기에 대량으로 랜덤하게 배치되어 스스로 클러스터를 구성하고, 각 클러스터 헤드 노드를 선출하여 정상적인 통신이 이루어져야 한다. 이러한 일련의 작업을 무선 센서노드 설치 시 관리자가 직접적으로 관여할 수 없기 때문에 자가 구성 라우팅 기능이 가능하여야 한다. 논문에서 제안하는 통신영역을 고려한 클러스터 헤드 노드 선출 알고리즘은 계층구조를 형성하는 무선센서 네트워크 환경에서 적용되며, 베이스 스테이션의 통신 영역을 계산하여 클러스터 헤드 노드를 선정하고 클러스터를 구성한다.

의료보험 적용인구의 의료이용도와 가입기간의 관계 (Change in Medical Care Utilization over Time in Early Years of Insurance Coverage)

  • The purpose of this study is to observe the pattern of change in medical care utilization over time in early years of insurance coverage. The source of data is the benefit records file of a voluntary medical insurance society for covering the four-year period, from 1982 to 1985. The measure of medical care utilization used in this study is the age-sex standardized percentage of the enrollee who have visited a physician over total analytical population during a three-month period. For six cohorts by the year of enrollment ($1979{\sim}1984$), the relationship between the utilization and duration of insurance coverage was examined controlling for the calender year and season. In the analysis, logistic multiple regression and residual analysis were employed. It was observed that medical care utilization rapidly increased during the early stage of insurance coverage, and after then increased at a slower rate over time to become almost stable in about twenty months.

  • In this paper, we propose a vocabulary coverage improvement method for embedded continuous speech recognition (CSR) using a part-of-speech (POS) tagged corpus. We investigate 152 POS tags defined in Lancaster-Oslo-Bergen (LOB) corpus and word-POS tag pairs. We derive a new vocabulary through word addition. Words paired with some POS tags have to be included in vocabularies with any size, but the vocabulary inclusion of words paired with other POS tags varies based on the target size of vocabulary. The 152 POS tags are categorized according to whether the word addition is dependent of the size of the vocabulary. Using expert knowledge, we classify POS tags first, and then apply different ways of word addition based on the POS tags paired with the words. The performance of the proposed method is measured in terms of coverage and is compared with those of vocabularies with the same size (5,000 words) derived from frequency lists. The coverage of the proposed method is measured as 95.18% for the test short message service (SMS) text corpus, while those of the conventional vocabularies cover only 93.19% and 91.82% of words appeared in the same SMS text corpus.

데이터 오프로딩을 위한 WCDMA 기반 펨토셀의 커버리지 분석 (Coverage Analysis of WCDMA-based Femto Cells for Data Offloading)

  • 고성능 스마트폰이 본격 보급되면서 폭발적으로 증가하고 있는 데이터 트래픽을 효과적으로 수용하기 위한 해법들에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이동통신용으로 활용할 수 있는 주파수에 제한이 있기 때문에, 최근에는 동일주파수를 사용하면서 추가적으로 용량을 확보할 수 있는 펨토셀에 대한 연구 및 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 매크로 신호가 존재하는 환경에서 데이터 오프로딩을 위하여 펨토셀을 구축할 경우를 가정하여, 펨토셀의 커버리지를 수학적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 펨토셀의 출력이 증가할수록 그리고 파일럿 채널에 할당하는 전력의 비율이 높아질수록 펨토셀의 커버리지가 증가하지만, 매크로 기지국 신호가 강한 트래픽 밀집 지역에서는 펨토셀의 커버리지가 매우 제한적임을 알 수 있었다.

수도작용 붐 방제기의 피복특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (A Experimental Study on Coverage Characteristic of a Self-Propelled Boom Sprayer for Paddy Field)

  • To investigate the feasibility of a boom sprayer in the paddy field, an experimental boom sprayer for both broadcast and directed spraying to the lower part of rice plants was developed. The droplet deposition characteristics of the boom sprayers were experimentally compared to those of power sprayer. Water sensitive papers(WSP) and a machine vision system were used to evaluate the coverage rate and droplet density. It was shown that the broadcast application by the boom sprayer was the best coverage among the tested sprayers. Coverage tate and droplet density were affected by the distance between nozzles and the sprayer ground speed, The best result was obtained when the distance of 30cm and the speed of 1.7km/hr. The directed application showed inconsistency in overall droplet distribution. The inconsistency was judged to be caused by conflict between plants and boom extenders. The power sprayer showed a very wide range of droplet size distribution, relatively larger droplets and inconsistency in cove The power sprayer was judged to be inadequate for the low-volume precision application because of inconsistency in performance and difficulty in adjusting the spraying rate. Based on the droplet coverage characteristics, it was concluded that the self-propelled boom sprayer for the broadcast application was feasible for an alternative to the power sprayer in case of low volume, precision application in paddy condition.

녹지의 규모와 기온저감효과와의 관련성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relation between Scale of Green Spaces and Decreasing Air Temperature)

  • 녹지의 규모와 녹지내외의 기온저감효과와의 관련성을 명확히 밝히는 것을 목적으로 규모가 서로 다른 4개의 녹지를 대상으로 기온분포를 관측하였다. 그 데이터를 근거로 녹지내외의 기온분포, 녹지주변의 기온저감효과와 그 영향범위, 녹지내의 기온저감효과와 그 강도 및 토지피복비율과 기온, 그리고 녹지의 규모와 기온저감효과와의 관련성을 회귀분석 등에 의해 해석하였다. 그 결과, 토지피복현황의 차이가 기온변화에 영향을 미치고 있는 것을 알았다. 풍상과 풍하쪽의 기온저감효과의 영향범위를 비교하면, 풍하쪽에는 저온역이 형성되었고, 그 효과는 녹지의 규모가 크면 클수록 기온저감효과의 영향범위가 확대되었다. 더욱이 녹지내외의 기온저감효과는 녹지의 규모와 거의 비례하는 경향을 보였다

치근피개술의 임상적 효과 비교 (A Comparison of Clinical Effect for Root Coverage)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare clinical effect of the Langer & Langer technique, the modified Langer & Langer technique and Bruno technique. Material and Methods: 30 patients who have gingiva recession(Miller class I or class II) were carried root coverage. Langer & Langer technique(14 patients/32 tooth), modified Langer & Langer technique(5 patients/10 tooth) and Bruno technique(11 patients/18 tooth) was carried. At baseline and average 3 months after operation, it was estimated clinical index(Pocket depth, gingiva recession, clinical attachment level, keratinized gingiva, scar tissue, root coverage rate) by Williams style probe. Result: Root coverage rate is indicated Langer & Langer technique(8S%), Modified Langer & Langer technique(86%) and Bruno technique(90%). Conclusion: All three of the procedures were effective in gingival recession and improved clinical parameters.

  • Good diagnostics improves both the safety and system unavailability of digital safety systems. The measure of a diagnostic capability is called the Coverage Factor. Because the Failure Modes, Effects and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA) provides information on the failure rates and failure mode distributions necessary to calculate a diagnostic coverage factor for a component, the FMEDA can be used as a useful tool to calculate it. Through performing FMEDA on a digital signal processor (DSP) board used in a digital safety system, it is shown that some components of the DSP board can be replaced or improved to satisfy the required diagnostic coverage. That is, the FMEDA can serve as a useful verification tool to design a diagnostic capability for the DSP board.

기하학적 확률을 이용한 무선 센서 노드의 웨이크 업 알고리즘 기법 (Wake-up Algorithm of Wireless Sensor Node Using Geometric Probability)

  • Efficient energy management becomes a critical design issue for complex WSN (Wireless Sensor Network). Most of complex WSN employ the sleep mode to reduce the energy dissipation. However, it should cause the reduction of sensing coverage. This paper presents new wake-up algorithm for reducing energy consumption in complex WSN. The proposed wake-up algorithm is devised using geometric probability. It determined which node will be waked-up among the nodes having overlapped sensing coverage. The only one sensor node will be waked-up and it is ready to sense the event occurred uniformly. The simulation results show that the lifetime is increased by 15% and the sensing coverage is increased by 20% compared to the other scheduling methods. Consequently, the proposed wake-up algorithm can eliminate the power dissipation in the overlapped sensing coverage. Thus, it can be applicable for the various WSN suffering from the limited power supply.

  • The Sasang Constitutional Examination, which is a medical treatment for Korean medicine, is a insurance non-coverage item. It is necessary to diagnose the constitution for medical treatment and to know the health regimen according to the constitution. We plan this project in order to expand the insurance guarantee reinforcement for Sasang Constitutional Examination and Counselling. This study was to investigate the status of insurance coverage and non-coverage items and to investigate objectivity and standardization of Sasang Constitutional Examination and Counselling. In addition, according to medical field, the items of Sasang Constitutional Examination and Counselling were divided. We reviewed the status of constitutional health care services and applied it to the financial budget for the medical care costs. Finally we propose Sasang Constitutional Examination and Counseling of Korean Medicine Act Classification (plan) and propose Insurance Coverage of Sasang Constitutional Examination and Counselling (plan).
