  • The general scheme of an algorithm, called an ABS-FRE algorithm, for solving systems of fuzzy relation equations (systems of FRE) via the ABS algorithms is presented. As special cases, two particular algorithms for obtaining the greatest and minimal solutions of systems of FRE are described. Several new operations used in this scheme are given, for instance, operators $\veebar$ and $\underline{\wedge}$ called quasi-inverses of operators $\vee$ and $\wedge$, respectively, etc.

  • In this paper we propose an implementable method for solving a nonsmooth convex optimization problem by combining Moreau-Yosida regularization, bundle and quasi-Newton ideas. The method we propose makes use of approximate subgradients of the objective function, which makes the method easier to implement. We also prove the convergence of the proposed method under some additional assumptions.

  • A 5-year-old 6 kg male mongrel (case 1) and a 7-year-old 4.3 kg male yorkshire terrier (case 2) were presented to Chonbuk animal medical center (CAMC). Both animals had non-weight bearing hind limb lameness. Case 1 had complete rupture of cranial cruciate ligament with grade 3 medial patellar luxation. Case 2 had complete cranial cruciate ligament rupture with grade 4 medial patellar luxation. During surgery, in both cases, trochlear block recession was performed followed by CORA based leveling osteotomy (CBLO) and tibial tuberosity transposition (TTT). General soft tissue reconstructions for medial patellar luxation including medial releasing and lateral imbrication were also performed. Postoperatively, both animals demonstrated excellent recovery and regained normal weight bearing of the affected hind limb without any recognizable complication. CBLO followed by TTT can be a curative surgical option without complications in cases of cranial cruciate ligament rupture with high-grade medial patellar luxation in small breed dogs.

  • In this paper, fuzzy metric spaces are redefined, different from the previous ones in the way that fuzzy scalars instead of fuzzy numbers or real numbers are used to define fuzzy metric. It is proved that every ordinary metric space can induce a fuzzy metric space that is complete whenever the original one does. We also prove that the fuzzy topology induced by fuzzy metric spaces defined in this paper is consistent with the given one. The results provide some foundations for the research on fuzzy optimization and pattern recognition.

  • A necessary and sufficient condition for Demyanov difference and Minkowski difference of compact convex subsets in $R^2$ being equal is given in this paper. Several examples are computed by Matlab to test our result. The necessary and sufficient condition makes us to compute Clarke subdifferential by quasidifferential for a special of Lipschitz functions.

  • Currently, there are many programs which are now being developed or already developed to predict radionuclide and corrosion product at the stage of designing NPP. However, since there are not many developments in evaluating quantity of activation corrosion products occurring when disassembling a nuclear power plant there exist some difficulties in calculating accurately. In order to evaluate activation products inventory for the research of effect of neutron activation in the reactor vessel, component of nuclear reactor and adjacent structures, it should be evaluated by using operation history of nuclear reactor, material composition of structure and average neutron flux in every field representing fixed structure of nuclear reactor. In this study, CORA, PACTOLE, CRUDSIM, CREAT and ACE codes are analyzed to predict the quantity of radionuclide and corrosion product of primary reactor which is used at the stage of designing. As a future study, the accuracy in calculating the quantity of product corrosion can be increase by finding out the possibility of use and improvement for evaluation of the decontamination.

  • The objective of this study was to determine the effect of osteotomy angle and tibial proximal segment rotation angle on angular and torsional tibial deformities and to assess the trends of these deformities during the rotation of the tibial proximal segment in a center of rotation of angulation (CORA)-based leveling osteotomy (CBLO) by performing computer modeling of the tibia. Four tibias of toy breed dogs with no history of lameness were used in this study. Osteotomies were performed in the proximal tibias at angles of 0°, 10°, 20°, -10°, and -20°, perpendicular to either the proximodistal or craniocaudal tibial axes. The mechanical medial proximal tibial angle (mMPTA) and transcondylar (TC) and distal cranial tibial (CnT) axes were used to measure angular and torsional deformities, respectively. All tibias showed an increase in angular and rotational deformities with an increase in the tibial plateau rotation angle. The tibia with osteotomies performed in the proximodistal and craniocaudal directions showed the highest magnitude of torsional and angular deformities, respectively. The results of this study revealed a tendency of occurrence of angular and torsional deformities with osteotomy performed along the proximodistal and craniocaudal directions in the CBLO.

  • A Server-Proxies-Users communication system is studied by using Stackelberg strategy theory of game. A new model, in which the server, proxies and users are not equal is established, and that is a three-level programming. The solution existence of the model is proved.
