고단속 기어의 가공 시 진원도 향상을 위한 지그척 개발 (Development of Jig Type Chuck for Roundness Improvement in a Machining of High Stage Speed Gear)

  • Recently, the requirements for high precision and efficiency machining are gradually increased to raise international competitiveness at the industrial fields of automotive and gears. This trend had made effects on the industrial fields in Korea and which needs further studying of high accuracy and efficiency machining. This study is to investigate the effects of Jig type chuck for roundness improvement in CNC turning machining of high stage speed gear. After hobbing machining, Dimensional change before and after heat treatment was very largely generated. In order to solve this problem was to develop a jig type chuck. After the heat treatment, the operation of the chuck which was the most distinguished equipment among Jig type chuck(0.006mm), Scroll type chuck(0.05mm) and Bolt type chuck(0.04mm). Therefore, Jig type chuck was satisfied the requirement from the actual field(0.02mm).

자종공무마모계측시스템개발 (System Development for Automatic Tool Wear Measurement)

  • This study has been performed to present a new automatic tool wear measurement by digital image processing. The purpose of this paper is to develop an automatic tool wear measuring system based on the image processing which can be applied to the quasi-real time measurement of the characteristics of insert tip in turning. Tool wear monitoring is one of the key-problems, for the development of control systems of modern unmanned factory which are not completely solved now. In oredr words at present complete qualitative and quantitative information on tool wear morphology is required, at least on the following aspects : flank wear, its dimensions and distribution on the maximum and mean values on VB pqrqmeter in the various zones of the wearland. crater wear, its main dimensions and values of KT parameters. This research has been performed to this technique made possible by designing a proper lighting system to the worn tool with following features : The flank wear is measured by observing the active cutting part from a proper direction and by lighting the wearland by a diffuser optic system. The crater wear is visualized by lighting the tool by a He-Ne gas laser system developed in this study. By means of this system it is research to evaluate classical parameters of tool wear and to have complete information about tool wear morphology.

컴퓨터 수치제어 선반에서의 진원통도 보상제어 (Compensatory cylindricity control of the C.N.C. turing process)

  • 본 연구에서는 현장에서 흔히 수행되는 가공 후(post-process) 측정만을 이용 한 단일절삭(single-pass)으로써 공작물이 원하는 일정한 직경을 유지할 수 있다는 것 을 실험을 통해 검증해 보이고자 한다. 이와 같은 방식은 이미 보오링 작업 중 보오 링바의 노출 길이 변화에 따른 가공면의 내경 오차를 없애주기 위한 방법으로써 제시 된 바 있다. 즉 반복 최소 자승법(recursive least squares)으로 미리 가정된 절삭 조건과 공작물 처짐 사이의 관계식과 관련된 계수를 가공 후에 가공 공작물의 표면 측 정으로 매 번보정(update)시켜 줌으로써 일정 직경을 얻기위한 절삭조건을 결정하고자 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 공구의 파손 및 마멸량을 검출할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하고자 하였다. CCD(charge coupled device)카메라를 통해 공구형상의 영상을 얻고 이를 PC 로 분석하는 영상처리 기법과, 여기서 계산된 정보를 이용하여 패턴인식 기법으로 공 구의 상태를 판정하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다.

파면굴절력 교정을 위한 자유형상 누진가입도렌즈 개발 (Development of Free-form PALs for Correcting Wavefront Refraction)

  • In this paper, two kind of free-form progressive addition lenses (PALs) were designed with Zernike polynomial surface and anatomically accurate finite presbyopic schematic eyes which have aspheric cornea, aspheric GRIN crystalline lens, aspheric retina, and Gaussian apodization factor. Geometrical and diffraction MTFs were used for the optimization process in sequence. 5th orders of Zernike polynomials were used for the evaluation of progression zones of the two examples. The target MTF was set as 0.22 at 100 lp/mm which satisfies the standard visual resolution. These examples were fabricated with a CNC diamond turning machine controlled by slow tool servo (STS). After polishing process, the wavefront aberrations were measured with a laser interferometer on the ten test points across the progression zones and then compared with three current commercially available PALs on the optical performance. Astigmatic aberrations of the examples are very lower than the three selected PALs and have more increased stabilized progressive intermediate zones and near zones. It is expected to give better clear and comfortable distance, intermediate and near visions than other conventional PALs and to improve the adaptability of presbyopic patients to PALs.

볼 엔드 밀에 의한 곡면가공의 절삭력 예측에 관한 연구 (A study on the prediction of cutting force in ball-end milling process)

  • 본 연구에서는 볼 엔드 밀 절삭실험을 통하지 않고 일반적인 선삭가공 등에서 쉽게 구할 수 있는 2차원 절삭 데이터를 이용하여 볼 엔드 밀의 기하학적 형상 및 절삭조건이 주어졌을 때 모든 볼 엔드 밀 가공에서의 절삭기구를 해석하고 절삭력 모델을 구하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 볼 엔드 밀의 기하학적 특성 및 절삭 조건 등을 분석하고, 미소절삭날터를 이용한 3차원 절삭해석방법을 적용하여 미소 절삭력을 구하고 이들의 합력으로서 절삭력을 계산한다.
