  • This study proposes a CMS platform for AR-based remote collaboration in a smart factory. The Smart Factory site utilizes various forms of AR technology to save time and money. As the level of smart factory increases, system-oriented tasks such as machinery and equipment are performed in people-oriented work. Therefore, there is a need for a system that allows the operator to immediately repair the machine or equipment in case of a failure, or to get help if necessary. Remote collaborative CMS platform is designed to work in conjunction with DATABASE of ERP, MES / POP, and PLM system built through text, 2D 3D contents and smart factory business, This study is meaningful in that it saves time and cost by sharing information such as management, repair method, manual, etc., and repairing it quickly.

  • the Naval Combat Management System(CMS) has been installed and used in various ships since its localization, and has been developed by continuously introducing the latest technology. Recently, surface ship CMS have applied server virtualization and desktop virtualization(Virtual Desktop Infra, VDI) technologies among virtualization technologies to increase system stability and limitations on the limited space and weight of ships. On the other hand, submarine CMS do not have virtualization technology applied, so there are limitations in space and weight limitations and CMS efficiency improvement. To this end, this paper proposes a next-generation submarine CMS using Docker-based server virtualization. Through performance analysis between the processor of the existing CMS and the processor to which Docker-based server virtualization was applied, it was confirmed that the method proposed in this paper is applicable to the next-generation submarine CMS.

  • Human pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (hPSC-CMs) have great potential in applications such as regenerative medicine, cardiac disease modeling, and in vitro drug evaluation. However, hPSC-CMs are immature, which limits their applications. During development, the maturation of CMs is accompanied by a decline in their proliferative capacity. This phenomenon suggests that regulating the cell cycle may facilitate the maturation of hPSC-CMs. Aurora kinases are essential kinases that regulate the cell cycle, the role of which is not well studied in hPSC-CM maturation. Here, we demonstrate that CYC116, an inhibitor of Aurora kinases, significantly promotes the maturation of CMs derived from both human embryonic stem cells (H1 and H9) and iPSCs (induced PSCs) (UC013), resulting in increased expression of genes related to cardiomyocyte function, better organization of the sarcomere, increased sarcomere length, increased number of mitochondria, and enhanced physiological function of the cells. In addition, a number of other Aurora kinase inhibitors have also been found to promote the maturation of hPSC-CMs. Our data suggest that blocking aurora kinase activity and regulating cell cycle progression may promote the maturation of hPSC-CMs.

Adsorption Dynamics of Activated Carbon and Carbon Molecular Sieve Beds for Ethylene Recovery (배가스로부터에틸렌 회수를 위한 활성탄과 CMS 흡착탑의 흡착거동 특성)

  • The adsorption dynamics of activated carbon (AC) and carbon molecular sieve (CMS) beds were studied to recover ethylene from FCC fuel gas. In this study, the FCC fuel gas used consisted of six-component mixture ($CH_4/C_2H_4/C_2H_6/C_3H_6/N_2/H_2$,32:15:14:2:12:25 vol.%). And the breakthrough experiments of adsorption and desorption were carried out. The breakthrough sequence in the AC bed was $H_2$ < $N_2$ < $CH_4$ < $C_2H_4$ < $C_2H_6$ while the sequence in the CMS bed was $H_2$ < $CH_4$ < $N_2$ < $C_2H_6$ < $C_2H_4$. The separation performance of the CMS bed during the adsorption step was lower than that of the AC bed. However, due to the characteristics of kinetic separation, the CMS bed could remove $CH_4/N_2$ as well asthe molecules that are larger than $C_2H_6$, which was not easy to be done by the AC bed. Since it was hard to regenerate the adsorption bed by simple depressurization, vacuum regeneration should be adopted. As a result, the pressure vacuum swing adsorption (PVSA) process, consisting of CMS pretreatment process and AC main process, was suggested to recover ethylene efficiently.

  • In this paper, content management system (CMS) is introduced to serve IPTV, WEB, Mobile, Smart Devices and others using a single content management system's transcoding engine to overcome the limitations of traditional content management systems. Developed CMS reduced the burden of content management by automatically recognizing one content into several content simultaneously to provide the best content to each device, thereby reducing the burden of CMS additional adoption. The focus is on utilizing automated system for studio content and automatic management of mobile filmed images, and it is planned to develop the One-Stop Service for contents by adding functions for contents production later.

  • At present Content Management Systems (CMS) with various and diverse web contents have been in wide applications. But, for CMS of each enterprise has its own metadata which is very different from others, it causes the serious problem of web contents repetition. Also, it's a difficult technology to support protecting copyright of web contents which are in separated CMSs. Therefore, in this paper, we solved the problem of contents repetition through metadata integration between mutually heterogeneous CMSs. We also propose the technology of web contents authentication code for avoiding contents repetition and applying digital rights protection by supporting safe ship in vast quantity of contents.

  • It is very difficult, but important, to induce and maintain voluntary user engagement in content. For example, many Internet contents provide financial rewards for the user's participation and maintenance. However, there are limitations to methods such as stimulating only external motivations, such as monetary rewards, and sophisticated design and management are needed to obtain sustained and voluntary user participation in content. For this purpose, we propose a Gamified CMS that extends the existing Content Management System (CMS) by referring to the example of the Gamified Learning Management System. This will ultimately increase the participation and commitment of users in content.

Effect of condensed molasses fermentation solubles (CMS) to replace molasses on the growth performance, nutrient digestibility, and backfat thickness in growing pigs

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of condensed molasses fermentation solubles (CMS) on the growth performance, nutrient digestibility, and backfat thickness of growing pigs. In an eight-week trial, a total of 120 cross-bred ([Landrace × Yorkshire]× Duroc) growing pigs with an average initial body weight (BW) of 25.84 ± 1.60 kg were used. The pigs were randomly assigned to one of two dietary treatments based on body weight and sex. The dietary treatments were as follows: CON - corn-soybean meal-based basal diet (CON) + 2% molasses; and TRT1 - CON + 2% CMS. Each treatment had 12 replicates with five pigs (three gilts and two castrated barrows) per pen. Though there were no significant differences observed in terms of the growth performance and nutrient digestibility (p < 0.05), the backfat thickness in pigs fed 2% CMS tended to increase in week 4 (p < 0.1). Thus, 2% CMS could be optimal to replace molasses given that it does not exert any adverse effects on the performance of growing pigs.

  • 인쇄품질을 보증하는데 가장 중요한 것 중의 하나는 색 관리다. 색 관리는 발주자가 의도한대로 인쇄를 하기 때문에 매우 중요한 문제이지만, 인쇄를 여러 과정을 거치면서 색이 조금씩 변동됨으로써 발주자가 의도한 색과 멀어지는 경우도 있다. 최근에는 인쇄공정의 디지털화로 인해 데이터 입고에서부터 디지털화가 이루어지고 있으며, 이것에 대해서는 전 공정에서 인쇄기의 색에 기초해서 만들어진 '색 기준'에 의해 컬러매니지먼트가 필요하게 되었다. 앞으로는 어느 공정에서 색을 맞추더라도 아른 공정에서 색이 변동도지 않고, 또 '색 기준'에서의 관리를 현장만이 아니라 영업 담당자도 이해해 효율화됨으로써 영업활동을 하는 데에도 필요하게 되었다. 이에 농도계를 전반적으로 다루는 컬러관리 시스템(CMS;Color Management System)에 대한 국내 시장동향과 국내 CMS 시장 전망을 살펴보았다.
