Electrical and Optical Properties of Red Phosphorescent Top Emission OLEDs with Transparent Metal Cathodes (투명 금속 음극을 이용한 전면발광 적색 인광 OLEDs의 전기 및 광학적 특성)

  • We have developed red phosphorescent top emission organic light-emitting diodes with transparent metal cathodes deposited by using thermal evaporation technique. Phosphorescent guest molecule, BtpIr(acac), was doped in host CBP for the red phosphorescent emission, Ca/Ag, Ba/Ag, and Mg/Ag double layers were used as cathode materials of top emission devices, which were composed of glass/Ni/2TNATA(15 nm)/${\alpha}$-NPD(35 nm)/CBP:BtpIr(acac)(40 nm, 10%)/BCP(5 nm)/$Alq_3$(5 nm)/cathodes. The optical transparencies of these metal cathodes strongly depend on underlying Ca, Ba, and Mg layers. These layers also strongly affect the electrical conduction and emission properties of the red phosphorescent top emission devices.

  • 본 연구에서 새로 합성한 적색 도판트 Red-1을 Physical vapor Deposition (PVD) 법을 이용하여 다층구조의 유기 발광 다이오드를 제작하였다. 적층된 유기물 층으로 정공주입층은 4,4',4"-tri [2-naphthyl(phenyl)amino]triphenylamine(2-TNATA) 정공 수송층으로4-4bis [N-(1-napthyl-N-phenyl-amino)biphenyl] (NPB)를 사용하였으며 전자 수송층은 tris (8-quinolinolato)-aluminum ($Alq_3$), 발광층에서의 host 재료로 사용한 물질은 $Alq_3$. 4,4'- N-N'-dicarba zole-biphenyl (CBP), 게스트재료는 Red-1, 정공저지층으로 2,9-dimethyl-4, 7-diphenyl -1 10-phen antroline (BCP), 전자 주입층으로는 lithiumquinolate (Liq)를 사용하여 보다 향상된 전기적, 발광특성을 보이는 소자를 제작하였다. 전하를 주입하는 전극으로 일함수가 큰 투명전극인 ITO (indium-tin-oxide)를 양전극으로, Al을 음전극으로 사용하였다. 그리하여, 발광층 내에서의 host재료 $Alq_3$와 CBP와의 energy transfer의 관점에서 그 특성을 연구하였다.

  • CBP(Cost-Based Pool) 시장에서 발전계획을 수립하고 시장가격을 산출할 목적으로 1999년 Alstom-ESCA(현 AREVA)사로부터 RSC(Resource Scheduling and Commitment, 이하 RSC)프로그램이 도입되었다. 그러나 단기간 발전경쟁시장 체제에서 사용할 목적으로 도입되었기 때문에 현재 CBP시장이 장기화가 예상되는 시점에서 전력시장 환경 및 구조변화의 흐름속에서 요구되는 기능을 제공할 수 있는 향상된 프로그램 도입의 필요성이 증가하게 되었고 이에 2008년 AREVA사로부터 한층 성능이 향상된 프로그램을 도입하게 되었고 올해 수차례의 모의운영을 통해 최적화 효율성 향상으로 발전비용이 감소되는 효과를 보여주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 모의운영 결과를 보여주고자 한다.

A Study on Improvement of Capacity Payment using Fuzzy Theory in CBP Market (퍼지이론을 활용한 변동비 반영 전력시장의 용량요금 개선방안에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents a method for improvement of capacity payment in CBP(cost based pool) market. Capacity payments have been used as common mechanisms in various pools for compensating generators recognized to serve a for reliability purpose. Ideal pricing for capacity reserves by definition achieves a balance between economic efficiency and investment incentives. That is, prices must be kept close to costs, but not so low as to discourage investment. However, the price set is not easy. This paper concludes with market design recommendations that apply fuzzy theory for improvement of capacity payment. Following this model, market participants decided on their own based on their forecast to the market demand and the payment for it.

Relation of $\Ca^{2+}$-ATPase and trigger peptidase(TPase) that are Membrane Proteins in a Differentiation Process on Heterobasidiomycerous Yeast (이담자 효모균의 성분화과정에서 막단백질 중 $\Ca^{2+}$-ATPase와 trigger peptidase(TPase)의 상호관계)

  • We have studied the relation between Ca$^{2+}$-ATPase and trigger peptidase(TPase) which are membeane protein well known as their significant role for signal transduction of mating pheromone in heterobasidiomycetous yeast. Rhodosporidium toruloides. We found out that there were Ca $^{2+}$-ATPase and TPase together in isolated calmodulim binding protein(CBP), usion calmodulin affinity column chromatography after solubilization of mation type a cell membrane protein, and that the dependence of enzyme activity of both the enzymes on Ca$^{2+}$, phospholipid and nonionic detergent are similar. However, Ca$^{2+}$-ATPase hed quite absolute dependence on calmodulin and, on the other hand, TPase didn't have any dependence. Judging from the fact that there are both enzymes in CBP which the dependence of calmodulin are quite different, we found out that both enzymes were made to their compound and existed in mating type a cell membrane.

  • In this paper, we show the movable boundary (MB) method is the effective bandwidth allocation strategy for the ABR service among existing bandwidth allocation methods. The MB method can gurantee the QOS requirement according to the service priority and improve bandwidth utilization using the characteristics of the ABR service. The threshold values of the MB, which have an important effect upon connection blocking probability(CBP) performance of each service, are obtained by simulation. The MB method with the fixed thresholds, however, may not have good performance to variation of input traffic parameters. We suggest the dynamic MB method which changes the threshold values adaptively according to the required bandwidth of input traffic. We also show that the dynamic MB method can urantee the CBP performance according to the service priority regardless of variation of input traffic parameters.

  • At present, the Korean electricity industry is undergoing restructuring and the Cost Based-generation Pool(CBP) market is being operated preparing for Two Way Bidding Pool(TWBP) market open. As the circumstance of the traditional system is changed according to power system deregulation, the simulation tool which should reflect market code providing market operating mechanism is needed to analyze an electricity market. This paper presents the development of an unique market simulator, Market Modeling and Price Simulator(MMPS) that is designed to imitate the Korean electricity market considering uniform price. The MMPS is developed in VB.NET and is composed of two modules that consist of market modeling and price simulation interfacing access database program. To evidence the features and the performance of MMPS, a small two way bidding market with 12-bus system and one way bidding market for generator competition will be presented for the electricity market simulations using MMPS.

  • 변동비반영시장(CBP)의 장기화가 예상됨에 따라 전력거래소는 차기 도매전력시장의 운영을 위해 개발된 시장운영시스템(MOS)을 현행급전체계에 활용하는 사업을 추진하고 있다. 이를 위하여 전력거래소는 현 CBP의 비용기반 입찰자료를 MOS의 가격입찰 방식으로 등가적으로 변환하는 입찰변환시스템과 MOS-EMS 연계운영의 적정성을 감시 및 진단하는 시장운영감시시스템을 개발하였다. 또한 MOS의 실시간(5분) 급전계획이 최적으로 수립될 수 있도록 상태추정의 신뢰성 및 수요예측의 정확도를 향상시켰다. 아울러 MOS-EMS 연계운영의 안정성을 검증하기 위해 10단계에 걸친 실계통 실증시험을 성공적으로 종료하였으며, 그 결과 계통운영의 효율성 및 투명성 향상은 물론 연간 260억원 이상의 발전비용 절감효과가 발생함을 입증하였다.

  • Because Cost Based Pool(CBP) has any locational signals for electricity price, there are any locational incentives for construction of new power plant high efficient. in case of Korean electricity power market, this incentives are very important to reduce loss and congestion. This Paper represent the effect of MLF(Marginal Loss Factor) as locational price signal in short period. we investigate mathematically loss reduced effect of MLF and prove to reduce transmission loss using 3bus test system.

  • The electrical and optical properties of electrophosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) with modified hole blocking layer (HBL) were investigated. Well-known 2,9-dimethyl-4,7- diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (BCP) HBL is mixed with electrophosphorescent host material (4,4'-N,N'- dicarbazole-biphenyl: CBP) or electrophosphorescent dopant material (fac-tris(2-phenylpyridine) iridium: $Ir(ppy)_3$) or both. The highest external quantum efficiency was obtained in the device with $BCP-CBP-Ir(ppy)_3$ mixed HBL and we attribute this result to the additional charge recombination in mixed-HBL.
