This study theoretically investigated the conceptional and technical aspect of participatory design as an approaching scheme for participatory design in community This study operated a case study in an senior hall which is expected to be the important institution for future aging society This study discussed the tool's potentialities after investigating technique's developments and usefulness. The main result of study is as follows 1) Conceptual approachment for participatory design in community starts with the attitude of designers establishing moral, philosophical and social sense of value as the mediator in city and region. And proceed the design in the method of mediating the opinion with the members of the community and the government. 2) The technical approachment should be more concentrated with the method of making the members interested and treat the rationalized process and proceedings more important. And develop this as a tool which Is easily understandable, more convenient when working, and has a adaptability in application. 3) The given technique in case study is produced with the data of demanded rooms, preferred image, priority, and room-layout game, and verified it's usefulness by analyzing and discussing of process and technique, and this technique can be useful after specific complement work as a result.

To calibrate a non-redundantly actuated parallel mechanism, one can find actual kinematic parameters by means of geometrical constraint of the mechanism's kinematic structure and measurement values. However, the calibration algorithm for a non-redundant case does not apply fur a redundantly actuated parallel mechanism, because the angle error of the actuating joint varies with position and the geometrical constraint fails to be consistent. Such change of joint angle error comes from constraint torque variation with each kinematic pose (meaning position and orientation). To calibrate a redundant parallel mechanism, one therefore has to consider constraint torque equilibrium and the relationship of constraint torque to torsional deflection, in addition to geometric constraint. In this paper, we develop the calibration algorithm fir a redundantly actuated parallel mechanism using these three relationships, and formulate cost functions for an optimization algorithm. As a case study, we executed the calibration of a 2-DOF parallel mechanism using the developed algorithm. Coordinate values of tool plate were measured using a laser ball bar and the actual kinematic parameters were identified with a new cost function of the optimization algorithm. Experimental results showed that the accuracy of the tool plate improved by 82% after kinematic calibration in a redundant actuation case.

Ground source heat pump systems can achieve the energy saving of building and reduce CO2 emission by utilizing stable ground temperature. However, they have many barriers such as high cost of installation, incompletion of design tool, lack of recognition as heating and cooling systems. In order to solve the problems, the building integrated geothermal system (BIGS) developed by several researches which use building foundation as a heat exchanger. In order to establish the optimum design tool of BIGS with the horizontal heat exchanger, the prediction method of ground heat exchange rate developed with numerical simulation model. In this study, the economic analysis for BIGS was conducted based on simulation results and the optimal design method was suggested. As a result, it was found that the case of 32 A, piping space 0.3 m, piping deep 0.5 m and flow rate 9.52 L/min was the best case as 50.1 W/m2 of heat exchange rate. In this case the initial cost was reduced to 115 million won.
Timing diagram is a useful tool for describing the specification of system, but there is no study for test case strategy of a timing diagram. To solve this problem, we followed the steps to generate test cases from timing diagram in this paper. 1) We defined a timing diagram formally. 2) We describe the method of transforming from a timing diagram model into a Stateflow model which has an equivalent relationship between a timing diagram model and a transformed Stateflow model. 3) We generated test cases from a transformed Stateflow model using SDV which is plugged in Simulink. To show that our approach is useful, we made an experiment with a surveillance model and arbitrary timing diagram models. In the experiment we transformed timing diagram models into Stateflow models, generated test cases from transformed Stateflow models using SDV, and analyzed the generation results. The conclusion that can be obtained from this study is that timing diagram is not only a specification tool but also a useful tool when users are trying to generate test cases based on model.
This paper introduces an educational game development method for the purpose of designing game as part of school curriculum activities, base on experimental case of making history learning game for private elementary schools in Korea. Our first approach was to define a game as a educational learning tool like any other media and mediating platform such as smart phones or other applications. We regard user as a player, and students as a end user and decision making-customers. Unlike other game development process we brought service design methode to the development process, making a game platform that is specially designed for teachers' teaching tool, which is easy and effective to use to ther subject of teacher's intention. Based on our research case, we suggest educational games development methodology which can be better suited for games with school curriculum in learning environment.
Most work done in CSCW (Computer Supported Collaborative Work) system has been targeted toward supporting the exchange of documents or messages among group members, and yet support for cognitive aspects such as group organization, division and merge of work, and work flow control. The objective of the study is to provide CSCW environment for the engineering design process such as CAD (Computer Aided Design) and CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering). The proposed DCWA (Distributed Collaborative Writing Aid) system suggests a mechanism that unifies the group organization, work division, and work flow control in the CAO, CASE, and software simulation tool. In particular, CAD relates the group and work partition by providing expressing the relation of drawing object (e.g., binding, attachment, and proportional scaling) which is owned by different members of group, and CASE combining with the simulation tool supports the flexibility of the work flow control. Simulating the prototype before manu-facturing a product can reduce time and cost in development.
CASE tools are complex software products offering many different features. Systems professionals have evaluated various CASE products from a feature and attribute basis. Each product has a different mix of strengths and weaknesses as perceived by the end user. Specific CASE tools support different steps of the applications development process as well as varying methodologies. In this paper we develop a method for evaluating CASE tools. The model has an analytic hierarchy process for evaluating CASE tools in terms of functionality, management efficiency, and support ability of provider, and a data envelopment analysis for overall evaluation considering cost and AHP results. We applied the developed model to a real world case study.

Recently vehicle development trend changes from machinery vehicle to the electrical and electronic devices. As well the electrical and electronic devices commercial vehicles are increasing more than machinery system. The capacitance fuel sensor is a sensor that, by measuring the capacitance value of fuel level sensor MCU operating for the final voltage value of the signal output. That is increasing durability and fuel measurement accuracy more than conventional ceramic resistor type. For Sensor software verification R-BENCH TOOL generated test case automatically. We make the programmable Capacitor board for test. And it was confirmed that more than 98% of the high reliability of the software.

IMO has been proceeding in the maritime SQA for software quality is considered to be essential for the development of the introduction of the e-Navigation. In order to ensure software quality, follow the prescribed procedures throughout the software development project and create the output as a result of executing the respective steps. This paper is introduced a case for applying to maritime software development using the tool that is capable of real-time monitoring and automated documentation. Also, it is discussed the improvement of procedures for applying the expected effects and maritime SQA for thr tool utilization. The Development of customized tools for maritime SQA that is reflected an improved procedure for tool is the future goals.
Smartphone has become a part of many people's daily lives. The mobile messenger function on the smartphone in particular is the most frequently used services. The mobile communication tool in the age of digital media can be classified into two big categories: text messages and emoticons, the non-verbal expression tool of one's emotions. This thesis has studied the mobile communications made by the non-verbal tool of emoticons. The history of emoticons traces back to the text-based emoticon created by Scott Fahlman, from which graphical emoticons were developed and the sound and animation effects have been added. Many people use emoticons and diverse companies are developing the tool. In this study, the representative emoticon development case of Line Co., Ltd. is analyzed to see the concept, types, development process, collaborations and merchandising of the emoticons. Based on the case of Line, the development orientation and direction of domestic emoticons will be discussed to be culture contents.
