CAN(Controller Area Network)은 시스템이 간단하고 저렴하게 구현 할 수 있는 필드버스(Field bus)로써 1980년대 독일의 BOSCH사에 의해 자동차 제어용 네트워크로 개발되었고, 실시간 계측제어 능력이 우수하여 산업전반(산업 자동화, 건을 자동화, 의료 장비, 열차, 중장비 차량)에 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 CAN의 단일 마스터 시스템(Single Master System)에서 마스터 노드에 문제가 발생할 때, 전체 시스템이 다운되는 현상을 악기 위해 마스터 노드를 동적으로 변화시키는 동적 마스터 시스템(Dynamic Master System)을 제안하고 기존의 시스템과 비교하여 시스템의 가용성을 알아보았다.

An abrupt increase of traffic-load in cellular CDMA systems can cause overload and degrade the quality of service (QoS) due to the insufficient radio resources. In this paper, we propose a joint coverage and resource management (JCRM) scheme which can improve the QoS degradation and spectrum utilization. The JCRM scheme hands over overloaded traffic to the neighboring cells by virtually reducing a heavily loaded cell coverage and allocates radio resources based on the necessary handover probability. The proposed scheme can be applied to the existing cellular CDMA systems as well as adaptive coverage management schemes for next generation mobile communication systems.

In this paper, we described a method to guarantee a real-time communication in the hetegeneous network for the personal robot. The hetegeneous network is composed of many kinds of network like IEEE1394, Ethernet, CAN, Bluetooth, Wireless Lan and so on. real-time data is transfered via those kinds of network. Those network have different characteristics as speed, bandwidth, Priority. we used IEEE1394, Ethernet, CAN to study in this paper. To guarantee a real-time communication, a worst case response time must be scalable. In this environment to guarantee a real-time communication, we get a worst case response time of each network and a end-to-end worst case response time.

An off-line programming, OLP, system is widely used in automation fines. To help an on-line robot system to carry out desirable tasks planned by the off-line simulation, an approach to the real-time communication is presented. The OLP system developed consists of a software, a host computer(PC), a SCARA robot body, four servo drivers, and four independent joint controllers. This study focuses on the software where real-time communication is included. The software, can be used in teaching, trajectory planning, real-time running, and performance evaluation. The evaluation of different control algorithms is one of the merits of the software. The software can give servo commands for task running. A comparison of generated and corresponding actual trajectories provides the evaluation of task performance. The safety, of the OLP system is ensured by alarming malfuntions of the system. The OLP system developed can reduce the teaching time and increase the user's convenience.

The existing DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication) scheme has a limitation in providing various services through short-range wireless communication. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an intelligent WAVE/DSRC hybrid wireless platform that can improve data transmission speed and extend the effective communication range. This paper introduces WAVE/DSRC integrated platform technology using WAVE(Wireless Access in Vehicle Environments) to overcome the disadvantages of DSRC. First, the desinged software configuration of the WAVE/DSRC integrated platform is described. Then each task operation scheme and WAVE software design are described. By applying the WAVE/DSRC integrated platform, we can compensate the shortcomings of DSRC. It can provide more accurate and reliable services.

Although the massive MIMO system supports a high throughput, it requires a lot of channel information for channel compensation. For the reduction of overhead, the massive MIMO system generally uses TDD as duplexing scheme. Therefore, the massive MIMO system is sensitive to rapidly changing fast fading in according to time. For the improvement of reduced SINR by fast fading, the adaptive power control is proposed. Unlike the conventional scheme, the proposed scheme considers mobility of device for adaptive power control. The simulation of the proposed scheme is performed with consideration for mobility of device. The result of the simulation shows that the proposed scheme improves SINR. Since SINR is decreased in according to the number of device in the network by unit of cell, each base station can accommodate more devices by the proposed scheme. Also, because the massive MIMO system with high SINR can use high order modulation scheme, it can support higher throughput.

Language plays a central role in everyday communication activities. Therefore, an individual need to be able to use language to communicate with confidence and without fear. One of the major fears that people have is the fear of communication. This fear is most of the time due to a lack of confidence in communicating in a particular language or due to poor proficiency in the language. In some cases it can also be due to attitudinal problems. In the context of teaching and learning English as a second or foreign language, students can have a great fear of using English with confidence. This fear can be an acute one and thus students may avoid using English to communicate. However, non native speakers of English need to be highly competent in the use of the English language for a variety of communicative purposes particularly in meeting the challenges of globalisation and that of the digital age. This article presents some insights on language apprehension found among communication undergraduates who are non native speakers of English.

The proposed scheme provides a scheme to preview the whole image contents of low quality JPEG coded image without license and to select image quality as required. Therefore, users can confirm the image contents from low quality image without paying for previewing it and then, can see the best quality image by paying for the additional qualify of the image. The proposed scheme in this paper can be able to provide quality graded services as requested as well as protecting environment of intellectual property of digital contents.

The language is one of the most important inventions in the human society, and it can be preserved as a form of book which is printed or written by letters. So, the language and letter can be basic factors in the library as communication media. Moreover, when we regard all of library activities as a communication, the study of the language and letter which is the origin of communication media can be a good research method of library history. For this reason, the present study deals with formation of three representative ancient letters, i.e. Hieroglyph, Cuneiform Script, and Chinese character with their relations.
