Todays, there is fast transition about the new manufacturing IT methodologies from the conceptual phase into the practical application phase for the strengthening of enterprise competitiveness in manufacturing industry. One of those new methodologies is PLM (Product Life-cycle Management). PLM methodology consists of 3D CAD for the product design, PDM (Product Data Management) for the data management based on the collaboration platform and lastly DM (Digital Manufacturing). DM has evoluted from the stand-alone computer simulation of early 1980s, and now it covers the overall production development and production. Unfortunately, there exist serious critical problems about the actual application of DM for the real work. This is owing to the transition of the point of view from stand-alone type application (such as flow simulation or robot simulation) to that of business process about product development and production management. In this paper, we propose an application framework for the successful project with the digital manufacturing methodology with the concept of Information Strategy Planning, which enables the systematic diagnosis and the quantitative evaluation. Also, we introduce the actual practice of the proposing framework with the ISP project for 'Analysis & Simulation Technique of manufacturing process project' that is being conducted by Chungnam Techno Park.

Digital manufacturing(DM) is the ability to describe every aspect of the design-to-manufacture process digitally-using tools that include digital design, CAD, office documents, PLM(Product Life-cycle Management) systems, analysis software, simulation, CAM software and so on. The major automotive companies are already deeply invested in DM with almost every process being digital rather than paper-based. But it has taken a long time for the digital process to mature into something usable and there have been some major barriers that have prevented from the DM becoming a reality. Thus many companies hesitate to make a decision of implementing the DM. This paper deals with a study investigating which factors are important for implementing the DM to industries successfully. The extended technology acceptance model (ETAM) is used as the relation model of cause and effect. The quality of hardware, the quality of software, the range of collaboration among companies and the preference of the user are defined as the external factors. Interview method is used for gathering input data, and the results are analyzed with SPSS. The results indicate that four external factors are effective on the successful implementation of DM, and the perceived usefulness is most important.

지금까지 제조업에서는 CAx(CAD, CAE, CAM) 시스템을 중심으로 설계와 생산의 효율성 증대를 이뤄왔다. 최근에는 제품을 중심으로 PLM(Product Lifecycle Management), 디지털 메뉴팩처링(Digital Manufacturing) 등의 개념을 도임하고 있으며, 이를 기반으로 설계와 생산의 효율성 증대뿐만 아니라, 디지털 제품을 중심으로 하는 제품 개발환경 구축을 통해 제조업의 불변과제 해결과 경쟁력 확보를 위해 노력하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 함정 설계와 정보 관리를 위한 프로세스 및 프레임워크 연구를 수행한다. 그리고 함정획득에 SBA 개념을 적용하기 위한 인프라스트럭쳐에 대해 연구를 수행한다. 객체 지향 개발방법론의 요구사항 분석법에 기반을 둔 SBA(Simulation-Based Acquisition) 프레임워크 정의 방법론을 정립하고 이를 바탕으로 3 차원 함정제품모델 중심의 획득업무 분석을 통해 SBA-NS 아키텍처와 함정제품정보(NSPI : Naval Ship Product Information) 참조모델을 정의하고자 한다.
