우리나라 기업의 e-비즈니스 발전단계별 성공요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Success Factors by the Development Stages of e-Business in Korean Enter prises)

  • This study is to find out empirically the success factors on the development stages of e-business in Korean enterprises, to formulate e-business strategy and to decide e-business policy. For this purpose, the study reviews the conceptual framework on the success factors for the development stages of e-business and the data is collected from 304 companies implementing e-business. The study is conducted in three ophases an follows; First, according to this study, the development stage of e-business in Korean Enterprises is between 'Information Access Stage' and 'Core Business Transaction Stage'. Second, four factors comsisted of 29 items derived from factor analysis are named as 'Environmental Adaptation','Customer Relationship management','Marketing' and 'Environment of Organization'. Third, the success factors of first stage(Information Access Statge) include 'Marketing' and 'Environmental Adapotation', the success factors of second stage(Electronic Collaboration Stage) include 'Environmental Adaptation' and 'Environment of Organization' and the success factor of third stage(Core Business Transaction Stage) include 'Environment of Organization'. The results of this study show that; 1) the Korean enterprise seems to be in the Electronic Collaboration Stage of e-business development, and 2) the success factors are 'Marketing' for first stage, 'Environmental Adaptation' for second stage, and 'Environment of Organization' for third stage.

e-비즈니스의 주요 성공요인와 성과와의 관련성에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Relationship Between the Success Factor and Performance of e-Business)

  • 날로 심화되고 있는 글로벌 경쟁시대에 기업 경쟁력의 핵심으로 e-비지니스가 확산되고 있다. e-비지니스는 경쟁시장에서 새로운 기회창출, 산업의 구조변화, 생산성 향상을 주도하고 있으며, 기업들도 이와 관련된 투자를 증대시키고 있다. 그러나 투자에 대한 성과의 효율성 증진을 위해 중점적으로 관리해야 할 대상과 요인들에 대한 e-비즈니스 성공요인에 관한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 문헌연구, 사례연구 및 전문가들과의 인터뷰를 통하여 주요한 e-비즈니스 성공요인을 도출하여 경영적 요인과 기술적 요인으로 구분하였으며, 도입 시기에 따라 준비기, 구현기, 운영기로 분류하였다. 이를 바탕으로 e-비즈니스 적용 기업을 대상으로 주요 성공요인과 성과와의 연관성에 대한 실증연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과를 종합해 보면, 기업의 e-비지니스에 대한 전략적 방향으로, 최고 경영자의 관심과 지원을 토대로 경영적 측면에서 차별화된 컨텐츠를 꾸준히 개발하고, 기술적 측면에서는 지속적인 e-비즈니스시스템 관리가 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 의의로는 e-비즈니스 주요 성공요인과 추진성과를 새롭게 그룹화 하여 제시하였고, 이들 간의 관련성을 파악함으로써 향후 연구를 위한 e-비즈니스 연구의 체계화에 기여하였다. 그리고 추진 단계별로 성공요인을 정리함으로써 향후 지속적이고 세부적인 연구에 대한 단초를 제시하였다는데 있다.

  • Many e-Learning companies are incorporated for the last five years, but most of them are failed or merged by the other company. The main reasons are the absence of competitive strategies and recognition of critical success factors. There are many researches on the critical success factors of Information System (IS) and Electronic Commerce (EC) . We derived e-Learning success factors from the previous IS and EC researches. We classified the success factors into five dimensions, (1) contents management, (2) learner management, (3) business strategy, (4) organizational support and ability, (5) learning management system (LMS), and each dimension has 9 or more success factors measurement items. We surveyed the perceived importance of the success factors from the manager of South Korea e-Learning firms. The paper categorized the items into two or more factors for each dimension by the exploratory factor analysis. Finally, we conducted one-way ANOVA for each success factors by the business model. As a result, there is different importance level for each success factors by the business model. We concluded that each e-Learning company needs different strategies to their business model.

e스포츠 비즈니스의 주요 성공요인과 이용효과와의 관계에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Relationship between the Key Success Factors and the Usage Effect of the e-Sports Business)

  • The purpose of this paper is to present an overview of the characteristics of the e-sports business at a crucial point in the era of information and knowledge. That is, an investigation was conducted surrounding the key success factors of e-sports as a newly growing industry, and the relationship between the key success factors and the usage effect. In order to do this, the key success factors were extracted from interviews with e-sports experts in conjunction with a survey that was conducted to gather empirical data. The key points of the statistical analysis of the survey are as follows. First, the success factors of a policy do not have a significant effect on the usage. Second, some administrative success factors of the e-sports business include the distribution of e-sports in the form of franchise chain, the establishment of policies to prevent the excellent members of e-sports from seceding, making a good impression as a high-class sport, the frequent notice of the break-even point, and educating people on how to use the e-sports machine. Third, the development and distribution of excellent e-sports software was analyzed as a technical success factor of the e-sports business. Finally, there is no doubt that results of this study can be used to facilitate the growth of the e-sports business as a new industry related to the IT industry.

A Study on the Success Factors for the Restaurant Service Industry: Moderating Effects of Restaurant Types and Locations

  • We develop the success factors model including research hypotheses in the restaurant service industry. The research model in this study was tested on survey data collected from 282 restaurant owners. In this study, we tried to identify the success factors of the restaurant service industry and analyze the relationship between those success factors and business performance. Especially, we analyzed the impact of success factors on business performance being moderated by the restaurant type and location. Through the analysis of the research model, it is shown that operation management and customer relationship management and so on play an important role in the improvement of business performance. In addition, we found that the impact of the success factors on business performance is moderated by the restaurant type and location. A limitation of our study is the sampling. Franchise restaurants will need to be included in future studies. We expect that our research will help start-up restaurant managers to get useful insights to better manage their own businesses. Although the study on the success factors of the restaurant service industry is very important, there are few researches on that in Korea. Therefore, this study can give new insights on how the restaurant owners do business in the restaurant service industry.

비즈니스 인텔리젼스 시스템 성공요인의 중요도 분석 (Weight Analysis of Critical Success Factors for Business Intelligence System)

  • 본 논문에서는 비즈니스 인텔리전트 시스템의 구축 후 활용 효과에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 우선 비즈니스 인텔리전트 시스템에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 여러 요인들을 문헌 연구를 통해서 정리 하였고, 이를 검증하기 위하여 비즈니스 인텔리전트 시스템을 구축하여 활용하고 있는 기업을 대상으로 인터넷 설문을 실시하여 필요한 데이터를 수집하였다. 본 논문의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 요인분석(FA)과 계층분석기법(AHP)분석을 실시하였다. 요인분석을 통해서 성과측정지표들의 차원이 감소된 요인을 도출하였고, 이들 요인들 사이의 중요도를 계층분석기법(AHP)으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 본 연구를 통해서 생성된 요인은 모두 6가지이다. 비즈니스 인텔리전트 시스템의 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인들은 정보시스템의 성숙도가 제일 중요한 요인으로 나타났으며, 경영전략의 수립 필요성, 정보조직, 그리고 사용자 교육의 순서로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기업에서 비즈니스 인텔리전트 시스템을 구축하여 사용하고 있거나, 미래에 비즈니스 인텔리전트 시스템을 구축하려는 계획을 가지고 있는 기업에게 비즈니스 인텔리전트 시스템의 활용에 대한 방향을 제시해 줄 것으로 기대된다.

B2B 전자조달시스템의 핵심성공요인(CSF) 도출을 위한 실증분석 (An Empirical Study on the Critical Success Factors of Business to Business e-Procurement System)

  • The purpose of this study would like to investigate the critical success factors of the e-procurement which means on-line purchase of goods and services for organizations. This action represents one of the largest expense items in a firm's cost structure. In order to draw CSFs of e-procurement system, we have surveyed questionnaire to the related firms. The basic variables used in this survey are taken from many precedent researches in relation to the e-procurement. On the other hand, the research data is collected from companies which had used the MRO e-marketplace. Through factor analysis of those data, four-factor resulted as follows: (1) factor one suggests the rationalization of the firm's management of its suppliers; (2) factor two calls for redesigning affected business processes and influencing end-user/employee procurement-related behaviors; (3) factor three refers to carefully orchestrating an e-procurement technology planning process with one's suppliers and using intelligence in designing the software and mining the data it produces; and (4) factor four relates to selecting an e-procurement solution and/or simultaneously participating in a number of electronic environments supporting e-procurement. In conclusion, these four factors are regarded as critical success factors for the application of e-procurement system and then suppliers should take care the effective planning of e-procurement structure.

Success Factors of Student Startups in Korea: From Employment Measures to Market Success

  • The Korean government has focused on universities or colleges as the main targets of its startup policy since the 2010s. However, the performance is not so good, with a low survival rate. The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that underpin the success of student startups. First, through a review of the literature, this study compared the success factors of student startups with those of venture startups, which means the general startup sector, as well as youth startups, also a focus of startup policy targeting youngsters outside universities or colleges. Second, we analyzed case studies of startup companies connected University H. The literature review showed that the main target of student startups is the employment of university students. There is a lack of studies on success factors; existing studies only emphasize the entrepreneurship of students. The results of case studies showed several factors of success similar to those of general venture startups: founders, business model and resources including team, and mentoring.
