Since domestic and international environments has changed rapidly, Korean primary agricultural coopratives are expected to face many difficulties in business management, especially marketing and banking business. Therefore, it is necessary to reframe the exitsting structure of primary agricultural cooperatives so as to enhance the competitiveness in terms of management efficiency. However, There are many problems to be solved such as overnumbered staffs compared with decreasing number of farming population, unbalanced ratio between executive officials and lower-level officials, complexity of position-ranking system resulting from unclearness of official title and office regulations, and management right excessively concentrated on cooperative leader. The suggested measures for such problems are as follows; 1) attaining the economy size of agricultural cooperaitves in line with decreasing rural community, 2) fostering the on-the job training programs and the personnel administration according to job competency, 3) merging the small primary cooperatives into larger units with efficiency, 4) specializing the cooperative business based on their regional comparative advantage, 5) maintaining the rational adjustment between elected cooperative leader's management right and responsibility.

The concept of wearable computer says to be able to connect to network freely without restrict of place and time through the garment that contain the wire and circuit. Thereby we can realize the ubiquitous circumstances. Wearable computer plays a role of center in controlling the electronic equipments under the ubiquitous circumstances and also it will become the main stream of the future computer development. The current wearable computer displays ugly appearance by attaching the parts of computer on the garment instead of installing them in the box. However, as size of computer components are minimized and it's speed is getting faster, it is certain that wearable computer will evolve as fashionable computer, still retaining garment's original purpose such as fitting and fasion even though the computer is being installed to the clothing. This study reviewed about components, future market share, developed goods, human-being becoming cyborg, application area, restrict and on-going research of wearable computer.

Over the past three decades, the impact of IT investments on firm performance has been the subject Q{active research. Although many studies have shown positive and significant benefits derived from IT investment, the findings of almost all these studies are based on data collected in developed countries. This study tries to investigate the effects of IT investment on firm financial performance in the Chinese electronics industry, a typical developing country, and compare it with the United States. Findings show that there is a positive impact of IT investment on firm performance in China. Moreover, the impact in China is not different from what occurred in the United States in the direction and the size against the assertion of previous studies and expectation.

With rapid advancement of IT and Internet technologies, online market is surely becoming a stage of the competition among various forms of platform providers. This study show the significance of the negotiation process in the platform pricing strategy and observe several external/internal factors that might affect the negotiation power of the identities surrounding the platform. Major theories used in this study are the resource-based-view and network theory. Resources resulting in a negotiation power of the content providers and platform providers turn out to be widely scattered in their business areas - from product characteristics to the size of the content provider. End-user (or buyer) group which cannot make a strategic move for the organized development and use of resources is taking advantage of network externalities to support its negotiation power.

We attempted to empirically analyze the supply chain performance of Korean companies. We utilized the supply chain performance metric of SCOR(Supply-Chain Operations Reference-Model) which has been developed by the Supply Chain Council. We especially focused on the supply chain asset performance using the currently available accounting database of Korean companies. Cash-to-cash cycle time, inventory days of supply, and asset turns were analyzed for 621 Korean companies during the last 5 year period 1997-2001. We compared the performance by industry type and company size. In addition, we compared the cash-to-cash cycle time of Korean companies with global companies.

Satisfying the customer orders with a short lead-time is one of the essential and competitive factors for business units under a mass customization environment. To shorten the lead-time for fulfilling various orders entails the production capacity expansion and efficient operational policy. Most business firms utilize the multiple production lines or facilities to cope with this business and manufacturing environment by making the manufacturing and distribution more flexible. In this study, we introduce the operational problem determining the joint production and delivery policy in an environment where multiple products are manufactured with more than one production lines. Also, we propose the heuristic solution approach for determining the product-line selection and joint lot size for this problem.

PSS (Product-Service System) is a competitive strategy for a service company or a servitized manufacturer. We investigate the product-service integration effect in a mobile phone service industry. Using choice-based conjoint analysis, we measure main and interaction effects of product and service. We collected a sample of size 171 from a college student group in Seoul, Korea. We find the existence of the interaction effect of product and service in PSS and show the direction of PSS strategy using main and interaction effect.

When we conduct development of a large-size SI project, it is highly necessary to utilize an appropriate application framework which helps to build a qualified software with high productivity in a short period of time. In this paper, we propose the architecture of a dynamically reconfigurable CBD application integration framework that has been used for developing large-scale e-business applications to achieve high development productivity and maintainability. This Integration framework can easily extend its functionalities, and dynamically change its configuration during run time according to the business category, such as applying interaction patterns among main components in software architecture, rules, policies, and environmental parameters. Dynamic reconfiguration has the feature to make applications be easily customized for changeable requirements. Through our application integration framework, huge sizes of contents can be managed according to the business category as well, by keeping configuration informations and huge volumes of source codes. In order to evaluate out application integration framework in terms of performance criteria, we present experimental results of throughputs from the framework by yielding dynamic configuration without any performance degradation.

The money market has been existing in various forms for a long time. Until 1972, however, the market had supplied mainly short-term loans of commercial banks and loans of informal money lenders to business corporations. There was no market for notes and commercial papers of business corporations. Consequently, business corporations had to rely primarily upon commercial banks for short-term credit loans to supplement their working capital. The interest rate on loans of commercial banks had been set below a free market equilibrium rate and thereby, generated excess demands for the loans. Unsatisfied potential borrowers thus had to turn to informal money lenders for short-term cerdit loans of prohibitively high interest rate. Since 1972 investment and finance companies have been operating in the money market and their role in mobilizing short-term loans is increasing. This paper aims at estimating the equilibrium size of the money market.

Accompanied by the demand of thin type TV, the application of the TFT LCD display device is more and more extensive. The key material which influences the optical performance of the TFT LCD is optical film. Due to the rapid development of the big size TFT LCD for the recent years, the supply has been unable to meet the demand for its relative material. Therefore, we bring up a alternate choice-the hybrid compensation film which could not only show well optical performance, but also lessen the quantity of usage in TAC in order to make the optical film free of shortage.
