Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected from Asian casinos' HNI customers in China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. This is the first study that has investigated VIP casino customers in leading Asian countries. The research used the critical incident technique (CIT) collect and a total of 227 incidents were analyzed. Results - The results show that three main categories and eleven subcategories are deduced. The first group concerns casino service system failures. The second group relates to service providers' responses to VIP customer complaints. The last group covers employees' attitudes and behavior toward customers. Conclusions - First, the most serious service problem in casinos was the service providers' attitudes rather than the service system failures. Second, Tangible recovery strategies such as "all pay" and "additional comps" were proven to enhance a casino's image and lower customers' intentions to switch. Customers, however, preferred intangible recovery strategies such as considerate responses, reliable problem management, sincere apologies, and accurate explanations.

  • Purpose: This research aims to explore the ramifications of job stress on cabin crews within the air service distribution sector, specifically examining its impact on service quality through mediating variables such as job satisfaction and engagement during the pandemic era. Research design, data and methodology: The study is based on a sample size of 312 individuals, exclusively comprising cabin crews employed in the airline industry. Methodologically, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were employed for statistical analysis. Results: The findings reveal that both performance evaluation and job responsibility exerted a significant impact on both job satisfaction and job engagement. Furthermore, job engagement demonstrated a substantial influence on service quality. However, in contrast, factors like unstable employment and the working environment showed no significant impact on either job satisfaction or engagement. Additionally, job satisfaction did not exert a significant influence on service quality. Conclusions: These insights will offer the valuable guidance to the airline industry in preparing for unforeseen external environments that may affect the industry. As the aviation sector navigates the challenges posed by the pandemic, understanding and addressing the intricate relationships among job stress, satisfaction, engagement, and service quality will be crucial for effective industry resilience and adaptation.

  • In modern society, the means of sharing information has expanded from existing personal computers and mobile devices to a variety of smart devices rapidly increasing information production. Recently, curations have extended to online businesses. There has been wide use of curation services in the cosmetics curation market. In this study, focuses on factors which cosmetics curators have in mind. In relation to the impact of cosmetics curation quality properties on usability, the effects of the medium of satisfaction and confidence are to be verified. For this study, a survey of 378 women in their 20s and 40s who had experience with curations was done and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 statistics programs. The results showed that information quality and personalization quality of cosmetics curation service were important factors affecting customer satisfaction. Personalization quality also had a positive effect on trust. System quality has a positive impact on trust and further influence on intention to use. This indicates that the trust on the curation service depends on the stability of system. However, design quality was found to have no significant effect on satisfaction and trust. In future, the research related to application and utilization of big data-based cosmetic curation will be further expanded.

  • Purpose: This study analyzed the influence of restaurant service perception on customer satisfaction and its implications on customers' attitude towards, intention to return to, and word-of-mouth (WOM) regarding a restaurant chain. Research design, data and methodology: Data from 421 respondents were collected using the convenience sampling method. After analyzing the data normality and removing responses with missing data and outliers, 342 responses were selected for further analysis, and the hypotheses were tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results: We found that service perception affected customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction affected the customers' attitude toward the restaurant chain, which affected customers' intention to return and WOM about the restaurant chain. Conclusions: This paper provides one of the most important empirical results for managers in the restaurant sector, especially in Indonesia. Restaurant managers should thus provide training to their employees to improve the quality of the interaction with the customers and thereby increase customer satisfaction. The limitations listed in this study include the exclusion of respondents' income. For future research, we suggest investigating models of customer participation or consumer value co-creation for restaurant marketing success. Consumers are generic actors in the service ecosystem engaged in the value co-creation process.

A total of 355 usable data was collected from house wives in three metropolitan cities(Seoul, Daejon, Bundang) in Korea. Correlation analysis showed that there were statistically significant correlation between demographic factors and clothing buying behavior, information utilization, and design preference. Also, Regression results showed that 8 Demographic Factors are significant predictors. The results with ANOVA showed that there were significant relationships between PURCHASE OCCASION and DISPLAY INFORMATION UTILIZATION, and showed that there were significant relationships (F=28.625, p=<.001) between PURCHASE MOTIVATION and SALES PERSON ADVICES UTILIZATION. Thus, both visuality and friendliness of service were affected by consumers. Considering the increasing importance of service quality in the retail VMD, sale promotion should be enhanced and sale person is needed to be trained to be friendly to all consumers regardless of product composition

  • Small IT service organizations operate their business with limited resources and workforce in comparison with large enterprises, and they could be categorized in various types based on the method of value creation. But the recent studies on information security have been conducted and they were focused on the construction of general information security countermeasure, without considering size of the business and characteristic. Hence we have undergone the process of classifying information assets. Then we extracted and categorized the information assets considering characteristics of small organization's size and business process. Specifically we have classified the information assets according to business scenario design through qualitative observation method. Then we have validated the classified information assets by utilizing statistical method. We may anticipate that this study results could be basic data for developing the differentiated information security countermeasures for small IT service organization.

  • Purpose: This research aims at quality improvement of website services on the internet. Methods: SERVQUAL is redefined for web environments as sixteen statements in five dimensions to identify user requirements for websites and measure their importance ratings. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is used to integrate user requirements into service development for websites so that management and design guidelines can be obtained for user-oriented websites. Fuzzy set theory is introduced to resolve the ambiguity and subjectivity of user requirements in the House of Quality (HOQ). Results: The priorities of design characteristics are extracted from the Fuzzy QFD for University websites. Conclusion: It is expected to provide quality services in less time with less effort, if the results of the Fuzzy QFD are used to provide services in a strategic way under limited resources.
