As a part of ebXML(Electronic Business using eXtensible Markup Language) framework, BPSS(Business Process Specification Schema) has been provided to support the direct specification of the set of elements required to configure a runtime system in order to execute a set of ebXML business transactions. The BPS,' is available in two stand-alone representations, a UML version and an XML version. Due to the limitations of UML notations and XML syntax, however, current ebXML BPSS specification fails to specify formal semantic constraints completely. In this study, we propose a constraint classification scheme for the BPSS specification and describe how to formally represent those semantic constraints using OCL(Object Constraint Language). As a way to validate p Business Process Specification(BPS) with the formal semantic constraints, we suggest a rule-based approach to represent the formal constraints and demonstrate its detailed mechanism for applying the rule-based constraints to the BPS with a prototype implementation.

This paper formally defines a role-driven security and access control model of a business process in order eventually to provide a theoretical basis for realizing the secured business process management systems. That is, we propose a graphical representation and formal description of the mechanism that generates a set of role-driven security and access control models from a business process modeled by the information control net(ICN) modeling methodology that is a typical business process modeling approach for defining and specifying business processes. Based upon the mechanism, we are able to design and accomplish a secured business process management system that provides an unified resource access control mechanism of the business process management engine domain's and the application domain's. Finally, we strongly believe that the secured access control policies from the role-driven security and access control model can be easily transformed into the RBAC(Role-based Access Control) model that is a standardized security technology for computer and communications systems of commercial and civilian government organizations.

The environment of supply chains is rapidly changed to global and eco-freindly work process. However, at current environment, it is not easy to grasp work flow and to analyze energy efficiency. Improving energy efficiency and visibility for goods flow can contribute to increases in customer attitudes and reductions in overall production costs Additionally, it can lead to increases in work efficiency and reductions in overall production costs. Until recently, efforts to improve energy performance focused on manufacturing industry. Those efforts have expanded to the supply chain. In this paper, we perform business process modeling about supply chain for visibility and sustainability - information and component flows - from assembly plants to logistics. This paper defines the work and information flows by modeling the underlying logical structures of the supply chain and the business processes that determine impact of visibility and sustainability. We model processes using the modeling methodology specified by UN/CEFACT. This methodology explains business process functionality and business transactions by UML diagram. The output of this paper would be useful in grasping work flow and capturing the used energy.

최근 건설산업에서의 오프라인(off-line) 프로세스는 건설CALS를 포함한 수 개의 정보화기술(information technology - IT) 도구에 의해 전자화된 프로세스로 변화되고 있다. 업무프로세스를 온라인(on-line) 프로세스로 개선함에 있어, BPR은 현행 업무절차로부터 불필요하거나 추가되어야 한 프로세스를 검토한 수 있는 대표적인 방법론이다. 본 연구에서는 건설BPR을 위한 객체관계프로세스모형(Object-Related Process Model - ORPM)으로 구성된 새로운 프로세스 모형화기법을 제안하였다. 제안된 모형화기법은 주요 정보화기술인 Workflow, ERP, 건설CALS 및 업무분할체계(BBS)와의 연계가 고려되었다. 본 연구에서 제시된 ORPM은 세부 건설업무프로세스를 표현하기 위한 대표적인 모형으로서, 8개의 객체, 9개의 관계, 6개의 활동구분 등으로 구성되었다. 건설산업분야의 BPR에 관한 연구와 실무적용사례가 부족한 현실에서, 본 연구에서 제안된 모형은 건설BPR을 위한 유용한 도구가 될 수 있을 것이다.

최근의 기업들은 B2B전자상거래 개념하에 상품과서비스를 전자적으로 거래하기 위하여 자신의 기업 영역을 넘어서는 프로세스를 수행하고 있다. 이러한 환경에서, 조직간의 비즈니스 프로세스는 필요하며 파트너간의 공개 프로세스 뿐만 아니라 기업 내의 자체 프로세스도 잘 정의되어야 한다. 이러한 목적을 위해 이 논문은 조직간 비즈니스 프로세스를 나타내는 방법을 제시한다. 우선, B2B 전자상거래를 위한 조직간 워크플로우를 위한 모델링 방법을 제시한다. 이 방법은 1:1 및 1:N 협업시 공통 프로세스를 공유할 수 있도록 ebXML의 BPSS를 기반으로 제시되었다. 여기서 조직간 워크플로우의 설계 절차를 편리하게 하기 위해 메시지 플로우와 통제 플로우를 분리하였다. 둘째, 구조화된(well-structured) 조직간 워크플로우 프로세스를 설계하기 위하여 구조화된 프로세스 모델링 알고리즘이 제시된다. 이 알고리즘에서는 프로세스가 페트리넷 기반의 프로세스로 변환된다. 이 알고리즘은 하향식 방식으로 구조화된 프로세스 모델을 설계할 수 있도록 기능화된 (well-behaved) 모델링 블록, 기능화된 제어 구조, 비즈니스 트랜젝션을 이용한다.

Enterprise resource planning(ERP) in nature entails large scale business process redesigns and the corresponding risks. To reduce such risks, enterprise modeling(EM) approach could be adopted through which ERP is planned and effectively implemented on a consistent basis throughout the entire organization. The scope of this paper is to report on EM experiences and lessons learned in the process of ERP implementation. Through a case study, this paper presents and EM methodology which takes due account of strategic business processes, information flows, organizational requirements, and their interdependencies. To assess the impact of distributed application scenarios on effective ERP implementation, alternative EMs have been created and evaluated whether they support information requirements for strategic decisions and day-to-day operational activities, core business processes, and business functions as required. Practical issues and problems raised in the EM process have been discussed.

최근 들어 소프트웨어 개발에 있어서 사용자 인터페이스가 차지하는 비중이 급증하고 있다. 이로 인해 스윙, MFC, Web 2.0 등과 같은 다양한 사용자 인터페이스 개발 관련 기술들이 소개되고 있다. 그러나 현재 대부분의 소프트웨어 개발에 있어서는 사용자 인터페이스 부분과 비즈니스 부분을 별도로 개발하는 프로세스로 진행되고 있다. 이로 인해 통합 과정에서의 어려움, 개발 기간의 연장, 개발 모델의 재사용성의 저하등과 같은 문제점들이 발생하고 있다. 즉, UI 모델링이 체계적이고 계층적이지 못하며, UI 모델링과 비즈니스 모델링간의 일관성있는 통합 기법을 제공치 않아, 구축 모델의 확장성과 재사용성의 저하를 초래하고 있다. 본 논문은 이를 해결하기 위해 개발 단계의 추상화 수준에 따른 계층적 메타모델을 사용해서 단일화되고 체계적인 UML 기반의 사용자 인터페이스 모델링 프로세스를 제시한다. 이를 위해, 개발의 성숙도에 준거하여 PIM/PSM으로 UI 모델의 모델링 요소를 계층화하여 메타모델을 제시한다. 3 단계 모델링(개념/명세/상세)에 의해 UI 및 비즈니스 메타모델을 적용해서 UI 모델링과 비즈니스 모델링이 통합된 계층적인 모델링 프로세스를 정립한다. 제시한 프로세스를 인터넷 쇼핑몰에 적용해 봄으로써 실효성을 제시한다. 실험 결과를 통해 계층적 UI 메타모델 및 프로세스가 체계적이고 계층적인 UI 모델을 구축할 수 있다. 이는 모델의 품질과 재 사용성을 향상시킬 수 있었다.

Recently, business environments have been changing quickly. To establish competitive advantage, most enterprises have been using information systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Many consider Business Process Management (BPM) a new innovative solution for enterprise-wide processes. As the BPM system is used more widely and matures, new techniques and functions will be developed by commercial vendors. However, they mainly focus on correctly executing process models, and user convenience has not been considered. In this paper, we have developed a new method of designing business processes, which provides users with an easy modeling interface. The method is based on version management. Version management of a process enables a history of the process model to be recorded. In order to prevent wasted storage, not all of the process versions are stored. An initial version and changes to each process are stored by automatically detecting changes. Our method enhances the convenience of the modeling business processes and thus helps the process designer. A prototype system is presented to verify the effectiveness of our method.

오늘날, 기업에서 업무의 80%이상이 정보시스템을 통해서 이루어짐에 따라 정보시스템은 복잡해지고 대형화되면서 이를 사용하는 사용자의 영역 또한 다양화 및 전문화 되고 있다. 그리고 최근 경영전략이 실시간 기업에 초점이 맞춰지면서 기업의 조직구조가 빈번하게 변화하고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 비즈니스의 연속성을 확보하기 위해서 유지보수자와 사용자의 업무 이해의 차이(Gap)를 해소하여 업무의 누락을 방지하는 것은 무엇보다 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 사용자의 실제 업무 수행 규칙과 절차를 업무 시나리오로 작성하고 이를 최적화하고 정형화한 결과를 소프트웨어 유지보수 프로세스의 활동으로 전환하는 모델링 기법을 제안한다. 본 모델은 변경구현 결과에 대한 반복적인 피드백 체계를 통해서 점진적 상세화(fine-grained)를 유도하여 재사용성과 활용성을 높인다. 그리고 실무 적용을 통한 유효성 여부를 검증한다.

소프트웨어 개발에 있어 XP, UP, CBD와 다른 케이스 툴과 같은 전통적 접근은 다양한 소프트웨어 컴포넌트들을 구축하기에 유용하다. 그러나 그러한 접근은 개방된 환경에 직면하여 서비스를 중점으로 설계된 것은 아니다. 서비스 지향 아키텍처(SOA)는 서비스는 애플리케이션간의 서비스라는 서로 다른 기능적 단위를 상호간 연결하는 컴포넌트 아키텍처이다. SOA는 잘 정의된 인터페이스들과 비즈니스 서비스간의 컨트랙트를 통해 비즈니스 프로세스를 통합할 수 있는 좋은 방법을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 SOA에 기반 하여 P2P 접근 방법을 통해 비즈니스 프로세스를 모델링하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한, 전체적인 P2P 비즈니스 프로세스 모델링 시스템이 구현된다. 본 논문은 서비스에 기초하여 변경되는 엔터프라이즈의 실제를 받아들이고 보다 효율적이고 가시적인 방향으로의 엔터프라이즈 간 프로세스 통합을 제안한다.
