Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to study how flexibility and mutuality in determining trade terms impact logistics efficiency in the context of relational theory. Additionally, the effect of relational contracts on logistical efficiency relative to the value of the goods being traded is investigated. Design/methodology - According to the relational contract theory, we developed 17 factors utilizing a 7-point Likert scale to measure variables related to flexibility, mutuality, logistics efficiency, and the added value of goods. The survey occurred over four months, and was distributed directly, and via email, phone, and online Google surveys. A total of 403 surveys were collected out of 1,800 distributed, and 380 were analyzed. The principal respondents were import/export companies and members of the Korea International Trade Association and the Korea Small and Medium Business Export-Import Association. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and correlation analysis using SPSS ver. 26.0 statistical software, and hypothesis test results were derived using Process Macro ver. 3.5. Findings - This study provides evidence that negotiation flexibility for trade terms affects the efficiency of the logistics process, and the mutuality of such arrangements is shown to be associated with the flexibility and efficiency of logistics processes. Additionally, it has been established that companies whose trade goods possess a low degree of added value may experience increased efficiency in logistics operations if they agree to trade terms that are both flexible and mutually beneficial with their counterparts. Originality/value - This study suggests that in an environment of rapidly shifting global logistics and unpredictable related costs, trade companies may be able to improve logistics efficiency by establishing flexible, mutually beneficial trade terms when entering into contracts. Furthermore, it is suggested that companies dealing in low-value-added products may improve the logistical performance of approaching trade from a perspective of relational contracts.

There are several stage in corporate's life cycle such as foundation, growth, maturity or bankruptcy. A bankruptcy is very important for corporate in the life cycle. Especially, venture business' life cycle is short compare to other type of corporate. A lot of venture businesses have emerged and bankrupted soon in the market. Venture businesses' survival or bankruptcy have been influenced by not only external environment like the rate of exchange, oil price, and foreign exchange crisis but also internal environment such as efficiency, process, human resources, finance and CEO. In this paper, we attempt to examine financial factors and efficiency that influence on the venture businesses' survival and bankruptcy. The more venture businesses have high efficiency score, the more they have high probability of survival.

The computerization works and environment have been changed from simple transaction and data process request to system connection request, from data computerization to application work automation and process computerization through IT development and Internet spread. Recently, BPM(Business Process Management) concept has been widely propagated. It is expanding interest of business subject. Korea Railroad is operating train operation management system through 5 regional headquarters and organizations under the influence of each regional headquarter. But integrated operation and management of communication each department, work flow management and resources of depot equipment and materials have to need a lot of effort and time in huge organization as Korea Railroad. Therefore, this article realized Web Based BPM Group Ware. This article will define Korea Railroad organization and business process in using this Group Ware. And it will introduce Korea Railroad computer manage system of this Group Ware and efficient Korea Railroad Business Process through modeling and operating department work and resources management in Korea Railroad.

The Purpose of this study is to identify relationships between knowledge management performances and such Influence factors of knowledge Management as information technology, knowledge management process, culture & people, strategy & Leadership in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. In order to test hypotheses, we collected data from 498 SME's employees, then analysed them by SPSSWIN. This results showed as follows; 1. All Influence factors of knowledge Management( information technology, knowledge management process, culture & people, strategy & Leadership) are to advance individual task effectiveness and organization effectiveness significantly. 2. Such Influence factors of knowledge Management as information technology, knowledge management process, culture & people are to improve business efficiency between the company. But strategy & leadership factor is not significant. 3. Influence factors of knowledge Management are different between knowledge performace factors such ac individual task effectiveness, organization effectiveness, and business efficiency between company.

Artificial intelligence-enabled business models aim to improve decision-making, operational efficiency, innovation, and productivity. The presented systematic literature review is conducted to highlight elucidating the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) methods and techniques within AI-enabled businesses, the significance and functions of AI-enabled organizational models and frameworks, and the design parameters employed in academic research studies within the AI-enabled business domain. We reviewed 39 empirical studies that were published between 2010 and 2023. The studies that were chosen are classified based on the artificial intelligence business technique, empirical research design, and SLR search protocol criteria. According to the findings, machine learning and artificial intelligence were reported as popular methods used for business process modelling in 19% of the studies. Healthcare was the most experimented business domain used for empirical evaluation in 28% of the primary research. The most common reason for using artificial intelligence in businesses was to improve business intelligence. 51% of main studies claimed to have been carried out as experiments. 53% of the research followed experimental guidelines and were repeatable. For the design of business process modelling, eighteen AI mythology were discovered, as well as seven types of AI modelling goals and principles for organisations. For AI-enabled business models, safety, security, and privacy are key concerns in society. The growth of AI is influencing novel forms of business.

For effective management and processing for civil affairs, online public services are in operation in every administrative organizations. However, due to the lack of links in each government departmental business processes on e-Government system, the satisfaction of the civil petitioners has not improved. In this paper, we propose an improved business process for the implementation of one-stop integrated civil affairs and suggestions services on e-Government system to reduce the time and cost for processing civil affairs and to improve the efficiency of the public services by cutting down the cost and time. This paper also suggests the ways to improve the quality of public service through redesigning civil affairs processing in the light of integrated system for the civil affairs and its suggestion.

본 논문은 BPM 시스템에 의해서 관리되는 비즈니스 프로세스의 효율성을 증대시키는 새로운 방법으로 TOC(Theory Of Constraint)이론에서 사용되는 DBR(Drum, Buffer, Rope) 개념을 적용한다. TOC이론은 주로 생산공정의 효율증대를 위한 방법론으로 인식되어 왔지만 비즈니스 프로세스에서도 적용이 되도록 BP-DBR (Business Process - DBR) 방법론을 개발한다. 또한 이를 통해 실제 금융권에서 사용되는 프로세스 효율성이 증대되는 것을 시뮬레이션 실험을 통해 보인다.

빠르게 변화하는 경영 환경 속에서 기업들은 변화에 대응하며 기업의 지속적인 성장을 위해서 프로세스 경영, ERP 등 기업의 업무 프로세스 혁신기법과 업무를 지원할 수 있는 IT시스템들을 도입하여 왔다. 하지만 통합적 관리 체계의 부재로 업무 프로세스와 IT간의 분리 현상이 발생하여 기업 경영의 효율이 저하되는 문제가 나타났다. 이러한 문제의 해결을 위해 BPM(Business Process Management) 개념이 대두되었고, 많은 기업들이 도입을 시도하고 있는 상황이다. 본 연구는 BPM 도입을 시도하고 있는 국내 건설기업을 대상으로 단위업무에 대한 IT시스템 지원도 평가를 통해서 BPM 도입의 주요 배경이 되는 업무 프로세스와 IT간의 분리현상에 대한 정량적 평가를 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 문헌 고찰과 사례 분석을 통해 평가의 필요성을 제시하고, 평가를 위해 건설기업의 본사업무를 중심으로 단위 업무를 계층화 하였으며, 업무지원 IT시스템을 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 평가 방법을 설계 하고, 평가 결과 분석을 통해서 건설기업의 BPM구현에 있어서의 시사점을 제시하였다.

To promote process effectiveness and efficiency, it is necessary that port logistics employ automated equipments for handling containers. There exists a system for automatically managing the container flow, called Control Module. However, it has limitation to assign the execution order to the machine and monitor the container flow in real time process. Business process management (BPM) provides a suitable and effective framework to address this problem including controlling and monitoring the flow of each container. Since the nature of container handling process is different with the common process in BPM that is conducted by human performer, it is necessary to adjust the BPM framework in the domain of port logistic management. This study presents a BPM framework corresponds with both human-based and machine-based activity to enhance the efficiency of port process flow including container flow. This framework is introduced as an integrated approach and mechanism of BPM application into the container handling system for the purpose of port logistics process automation.

Due to its capabilities, RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) has shown its applicability in various areas of business operations. This study describes the successful RFID system implemented in the auto parts manufacturing company called "E" to improve the efficiency of auto parts painting process management. The findings of this study show that an RFID system could help companies reduce manufacturing cost, inventory, and error rate in the auto-parts painting process. The RFID system descried in this study also demonstrates that an RFID system could make production data available real time to the company's ERP system and thus, managers and supervisors on the shop floor are able to make more informed business decisions. The findings of this study imply that RFID systems can be used to improve the efficiency of various manufacturing operations in companies. This study also provides IT professionals with practical guidelines for an effective implementation of RFID systems. In other words, it provides IT practitioners with the information on the success factors for implementing RFID systems as well as potential problems and solutions to them when implementing RFID systems.
