This paper is to survey the research process and the problems in statistics of The Chronicle of Korea Fishery. The contents of The Chronicle were researched by two groups. One group is the managers of every province, the other group is the officers of every county. The managers performed the literature investigation research and field study and also arranged the reports from the county officers. But the managers seemed not to pay the full attention about the consistency of contents. The main contents about fishery are the number of coastal households and population, the number of fishery households and population, the number of fishing boats and fishing net. The body of The Choronicle and the table of fishing affairs in the appendages must be carefully compared to use the statistics. Though these statistics lack the consistency, the number of fishery households and boats deserves the attention. The fishing households account for less than 3% of all households, and about one third of fishing households has fishing boat.

This study is an analysis of the growing trend from 1971 to 1980 on the four major fisheries in Korea; large powered purse seine, anchovy drag net, two boats large trawl and one boat large trawl. The main purpose of this study is to find some solutions against the problems which these fisheries are faced with, through the analysis of the growing trend of income, capital structure and main ratios of finance. According to the result of the analysis, the problems are as following: \circled1 Revenues per vessel was decreased when catches per vessel was decreased in 1979, 1980. therefore the increase ratio of the revenues per vessel was weakened from 1979. \circled2 Catches per vessel was decreased from 1979 in spite of the increase of gross cathes in its field. \circled3 Production costs in fishing, such as the cost of wages, fuels and repairs, was steadily up year by year. \circled4 Profitability was deteriorated from 1978. \circled5 productivity was lower from 1978. \circled6 Stability was lower from 1978. The solutions out of the above problems are as follows; \circled1 Fisheries resources must be fostered. \circled2 The numbers of vessels should be reduced according to the fisheries resources. \circled3 The precise amount of resources should be dynamically estimated. \circled4 The fishermen must be educated to reduce fishing cost such as the cost of fuels and repairs, etc. \circled5 The old vessels should be replaced. \circled6 The production efficiency should be promoted. \circled7 The rate of interest should be cut down to reduce financial cost.

The purpose of this study is to draw employee support program at the company level through field survey of foreign laborers' satisfaction level of working life. To analyze the factors that determine working life satisfaction, regression analysis was conducted. Satisfaction level of working hours(t=2.469), living environment(t=2.140), post offices/banks (t=3.024) showed a statistically significant. Also these variables, working hours, living environment, post office/banks are verified to be very important for improving the level of their working life. Through these findings we can understand that employee support activities, providing user-guide of bank and post office, compliance with standards for working hours, improvement of the living conditions (accommodation, meals, etc.), the leisure time program support, the children care support and active utilization of foreign workers and strengthen the educational program, are necessary to improve the satisfaction level of foreign laborers' working life in Korea. It is recommended that managers need to recognize that careful consideration of living and working condition could contribute to stable settlement and increase working life satisfaction for the foreign workers at company level.

The purpose of this study is to find food safety approach in the Eco-label Chain of Custody(CoC) which is only focused to traceability. Because, consumers want to be assured the certified seafood comes from sustainable fishery as well as hygienic. In order to this approach, we used Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method as belows. We first understood the CoC criteria for using pair-wise comparison and analyzed and selected each Eco-label certifications and standards. Second, we carried out a survey to the targeted standard Marine Stewardship Council(MSC) CoC auditors all over the world and analyzed the priorities of food safety approach to 4 principles and 12 criteria belong the MSC CoC Standard. As the results, we found out that 'Management System' has the highest priority in the principles and 'Documentation' and 'Keeping Record' are the most important criteria for this approach. In addition, 'Training' and 'Identification' are also higher priority of criteria. So, we suggested food safety approach method for improvement of these criteria in conclusion based on discussion with specialist in this field.

Korean fisheries societies have had many difficulties for economic, social, and living circumstances. The government has tried many projects to improve these circumstances. But the results of the projects did not come up to his expectation. Recently, blue tourism is emerging as an alternative for improving these circumstances. So we applied a tourism value chain model for identifying what value activities and resources needed. According to the tourism value chain model, it was identified that there were six different value activities, i. e. advertising, reserving, moving, experiencing, returning, and after services of blue tourism. To identify which of the resources are sufficient or not in Korean blue tourism, we compared the required resources with actual ones. It was identified that Korean fisheries societies have so sufficient H/W related resources, but not IT related S/W resources, humanware-based resources, some industrial H/W resources and sociocultural resources. Therefore, Korean blue tourism will be activated, we have to concentrate our efforts on supplementing some scant blue tourism resources, i.e. S/W and humanware related resources and developing a variety of tourism programs to H/W resources. Generally, sustainable tourism needs all of S/W, H/W, and humanware resources. So we suggest several policies for the aspects of S/W, H/W, and humanware resources to activate blue tourism. But before carrying these policies out, they should be tested by field studies. And tourism motivations will be also studied because effective tourism marketing is impossible without an understanding of consumers' motivations.

상품추천시스템은 고객들에게 추천 상품 리스트를 만들어 고객들이 구매 가능성이 있는 상품을 쉽게 찾도록 도와주는 개인화 된 정보필터링 기술이다 협업 필터링(collaborative filtering)이 가장 성공적인 상품추천 기법으로 알려져 있으며 많이 이용되고 있다. 그러나, 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 관리하는 상품과 고객의 수가 급속히 증가하면서 협업필터링에 기반 한 상품추천 시스템은 입력데이터의 희박성(Sparsity) 문제와 시스템 확장성(Scalability) 문제가 노출되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 협업필터링 기반 상품추천시스템의 상품추천 효과 및 성능을 개선하기 위해 웹 마이닝과 군집분석 기법에 기반을 둔 개인별 상품추천 방법론을 개발한다. 또한 실제 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 개인별로 상품을 추천할 때 개발된 상품추천 방법론을 적용하여 다른 기존 상품추천 방법론과 실험적으로 비교함으로써 개발 방법론의 효과 및 성능을 검증한다.

The need and interest for a successful operation of Information System in the defense industry have increased due to a rapid development in ICT. However, research on adderssing such increased demand has been minimal. This paper introduces a Success Model for IS in the defense field based on literature reviews, and proves the performance of the proposed model. The verification results show that the quality factors of IS have positive influence on perceived usefulness and user satisfaction. The results, as well, imply that perceived usefulness and user satisfaction improves the operational performance of IS. Therefore, this study proves that quality factors of IS increase the operational performance through perceived usefulness and user satisfaction. Through this research, the patterns of information utilization in the defense IS is understood, and the directions for improving the operational performance of IS is presented.

Based on the core value of the Q&A community, the contribution of knowledge and information has a great impact on users' community evaluation. As a small social group, the relationships and interactions among community members are quickly formed through information technology. As such, the cognitive evaluation of the relationship between community members will have an impact on the intention of information contribution. This research builds on the previous research based on the social exchange theory and establishes a dual model of swift guanxi in examining the relationship between guanxi and continuous knowledge contribution. In the current study, 305 survey questionnaires were used and 249 valid questionnaires were used for analysis. The analysis results are as follows: First, information support has a positive impact on dedication-based swift guanxi. While hypothesis between information support and constraint-based swift guanxi was not be supported. Second, emotional support has a positive impact on the formation of swift guanxi from a dual perspective. Third, the swift guanxi from the dual perspective has a positive impact on the intention of continuous knowledge contribution. Finally, although personal involvement has an adjustment effect, it is a downward adjustment effect, hypotheses are not supported. The current study offers theoretical and practical implications in field of knowledge management, specifically knowledge contribution in the virtual community.

Purpose: The study examines the effect of TechTubers' unboxing videos on consumer buying behavior by highlighting the role of product touch, visual and verbal sensory cues. The study integrates the vicarious touch and the dual coding theory to analyze the Smartphone purchase behavior of Generation Z. Research design, data and methodology: The study collected data from 349 respondents who were viewers of YouTube unboxing videos. A structured questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale was employed as a survey instrument. Convenience sampling technique was utilized to select the samples. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). Results: Results reveal that vicarious touch and verbal description have a statistically significant positive effect on Generation Z's purchase intention of Smartphone. Moreover, purchase intention positively affects Generation Z's actual purchase behavior of Smartphone. However, the visual images did not significantly affect purchase intention. Conclusions: The study offers significant theoretical and practical implications. The study adds new knowledge to the extant literary field by highlighting the impact of digital product presentation in the form of Unboxing videos on purchase intention for technology products. Moreover, the study suggests content sponsorship and advertising opportunities for marketers in collaboration with the TechTubers on YouTube unboxing video platform.

This study aims to establish a development strategy for higher education in Indonesia's marine and fisheries sector and to present a direction for international development cooperation through evaluating policies and current problems related to higher education in marine and fisheries sector. To achieve the goals of human resources development in marine and fisheries sector, Indonesian government needs to secure non-salary expenditures to strengthen support for areas directly related to the effects of education, such as improving educational facilities, expanding scholarships, and so on. Education institution needs to develop effective teaching methods and systematic practice-based curriculum that reflects the needs of the local fishermen community and fisheries industry. In addition, it is necessary to support the supply of manpower throughout the fisheries industry. Fisheries industry needs to stop relying on the government or education institutions to secure excellent human resources and actively participate and cooperate in the education field so that excellent human resources can flow into the industry. Based on this strategy, international development cooperation for human resources development in Indonesia's marine and fisheries sector should focus on qualitative rather than quantitative expansion of higher education institutions.
