Construction industry is the biggest employer as a single sector, however, that needs better job quality and working conditions due to problems such as lack of job stability, aging worker, late disbursement of wages, and so on. In order to deal with fundamental issues of construction skilled worker's wages, this paper performs comparing the wage system of the construction industry in South Korea and the United States, and analyzes the characteristics about wage structure and determination. As a result of this study about U.S. case, it requires all stakeholder's exertions through technical competitiveness and management ability, not price war by reducing laborer's wages.

Since the introduction of the C.M(Construction Management)system in the Basic Law of the Construction Industry in 1997, the recent arrangement of construction management engineers in public sector buildings has generally been based on architecture·civilengineering·machinery·landscaping, electricity, telecommunication, fire fighting by the number of M/M(Man and Month). In the field of engineers arrangement in each field, the arrangement of M/M according to the workload of architecture.civilengineering.machinery.landscaping and electricity is inadequate causing conflicts and C.M among construction management engineers. Therefore, this study aims at basic research that is used to identify the problems through the questionnaire and to prepare future improvement plans.

In our country, which imports 97% of the energy consumed, an energy saving policy is required. The price inflation of utility bills is caused by a steep rise in the prices of imported oil. This study aims to solve the difficulties that cause poor environmental conditions for workers in the energy services sector, and especially, to systematize energy consumption reports to manage energy goals by suggesting an example of written energy-saving reports. To this end, this research focuses on energy consumption of target facilities including office spaces in a main building and multi-use facilities of an office building. A system where all employees can participate is structured through the analysis of energy usage in the target buildings.

Throughout the world, energy sector is increasing in importance. Reflecting this situation, the government has introduced an energy efficiency rating system for buildings. In particular, the government is planning to introduce the energy evaluator examination system. In this study will want to analyze the relevant sectoral perception for the energy evaluator through expert interviews and surveys. The research results are expected to contribute to the rational management of the energy evaluator system.

The latest domestic construction sector is receiving economic damage because of defect litigation. The Concrete Crack among them has the largest component in expense of apartment house defect. Also, contradictory suggestion of appraiser is problem. To improve these problem, need objective plan that people concerned can recognize about decision sequence. Therefore, in this study, compared general defect investigation and defect decision of appraiser taking advantage of Data Dictionary analysis method. Also, deduced current problem and amelioration plan.

Labor productivity issues within the construction industry are receiving increasing attention. With the improvement in the standard of living, domestic laborers are avoiding 3D(Difficult, Dirty, and Dangerous) jobs by degrees. Because of this situation, the problem of insufficient labor is exacerbating in several basic industries. In particular, insufficient labor is a serious problem in the construction sector, where the workers are ageing and labor costs are increasing. In this study, we adopt a systematic approach to identify factors that influence labor productivity and analyze the causality between the factors and their ripple effects with the aim that the results of the study will help improve labor productivity and ensure its effective management. The established labor productivity model using systems thinking will get a footing in the greatest strategy in the construction industry.

National Competency Standard(NCS) is a national organization that organizes the knowledge, skills, and quality required to perform duties at industrial sites by industry sector and level. As NCS was developed and adopted as part of the government's implementation of capability-oriented society, the construction industry is also fully applying NCS to the curriculum and training. This study investigated and analyzed the problems of NCS development in construction work field through prior research analysis and experts interview and derived problems such as discrepancies in classification system, lack of connectivity with curriculum, and lack of effectiveness in revising NCS in construction work field. Further research is thought to be necessary for the establishment of the development system reflecting the construction characteristics in the future and for the presentation of practical improvement directions.

More donors are formally assessing their multilateral aid disbursement policies as well as the multilateral institutions that they contribute to. Analyzing OECD Creditor Reporting System data from 2011 to 2019 of 23 donors and 34 multilateral organizations, we find evidence of institutional portfolio building of donors to align multilateral and bilateral aid channels. Such tendency is more pronounced for core-funding than multi-bi funding and much stronger at the recipient country level than at the sectoral level. Smaller donors that operate from a limited multilateral budget show greater preferences for geographical similarity. When donors give to institutions with sectoral specialization, they seek sectoral similarity with their bilateral aid.

This study focuses on improving quality management system of naval ships to enhance safety. Recently, there were problems caused by the lack of quality management system when building Korea naval ships. Foreign naval ships are designed and built through certification by professional organizations in the commercial sector to reduce budget and enhance ship safety. Merchant ships are designed, built, operated and maintained by the organizations in accordance with the Ship Safety Act. When naval ships are exported, the ordering country requires the certification from the international classification to ensure the safety and reliability of ships. Through this study, as a method of improving the quality management system of naval ships, design verification, equipment certification and construction survey using expertise of the organizations are proposed when designing and building the naval ships.

As drone technology advances, the cases of using drones in the construction industry are increasing rapidly. Research by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, has shown that drone use in the construction sector is expected to expand the fastest, and research has been carried out continuously to utilize drones in the construction industry. In this way, we will identify drone research trends in the construction industry as a basic data that will provide direction for future research. This paper collected papers for 10 years from 2011 to 2020 and keyword analysis through Gephi 0.9.2. This paper was classified by the study details of the paper with the upper keywords by year, through which it analyzed the changes in the direction of the study by field. The data in this paper is designed to contribute to the development of balanced drone utilization research, despite the limitations of 10-year statistics.
