Background and Objectives : LED(Light emitting diode) is recently introduced as a energy-saving light source in many area including agriculture and environment. In medical field it is known as bright and safe light source in surgical lighting including headlight. This study is aimed to test effectiveness and cost-saving of mountain-climbing headlight in comparison with xenon headlight. Materials and Methods : Internet market-available mountain-climbing headlight was compared with medical xenon headlight regarding heat generation after 30 minutes' usage, intensity of illumination and possible burn to the perioral skin. To get temperature data, 5 cases of tonsillectomy were done with the aid of LED headlight, while another 5 tonsillectomies were done using xenon headlight. Results : The temperatures of all light sources were below 45 degrees Celcius until finish of the surgery without burn or complications. No differences in operation time with both headlights. The maximal intensities of illumination were 24000 Lux for xenon, 20000 Lux for LED. Conclusion : Mountain-climbing headlight could be safe and helpful light source with low cost in simple oral surgery.

The background, concept, and design characteristics of the Caports style, which comes into new domestic fashion trend of sportism, are discussed in this article. Analysis are performed with utilizing pictures, advertizements of fashion magazine such as Vogue Korea, Fashionbiz, Ceci, etc., and photographs from internet sites, domestic papers since 2002. The result of this study is as followings: New life style, arose from the change of social and cultural environment, such as increase in leisure time, fusion and well-being trend, begins to be reflected in caports style in the form of stress on utility and functionality. The caports style is a fusion style based on sports wear with character and fashion. And, it can be adapted as a sports wear and daytime wear. With respect to the form, it emphasizes healthy body line, and as for the material, it strikingly utilizes various and functional materials. It also shows active and cheerful image using bright color, and utilizes functional and decorative details such as line-tape, zipper, hood. We have been performing a wide-field photometric monitoring program, named SPVS (Short-Period Variability Survey), at the Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory (BOAO). The observation system consists of a small refracting telescope (D = 155 mm, f = 1050 mm) and a $2k{\times}3k$ CCD Camera. The field of view is $1.0^{\circ}{\times}1.5^{\circ}$. Detection limit is about V = 13 for short-period small amplitude variables such as ${\delta}$ Scuti-type pulsating stars, and about V = 15 for long-period large amplitude variables such as eclipsing binaries and RR Lyrae stars. The instrument is designed to be remote-controlled through internet. The primary purpose of this project is to search for variable objects in bright Galactic open clusters. We present results of test observations conducted towards NGC 7092.

Recently, as the use of the Internet and the Web becomes universal, there has been a great deal of efforts to use it for education. The advantage of a Web-based lecture is that people can take it anywhere at a low cost anytime. Therefore, its prospect is very bright and its potential customers abound. The demand for java programming education using the Web is increasing. This paper compares and analyzes the learning effects of Web-based and traditional lectures in a java programming course, using statistical inference. Based on the analysis result, it concludes that the learning effects of the Web-based lecture are less effective than those of traditional lecture. Also, it recognizes weak points of Web-based lecture in java programming education and proposes a scheme for enhancing Web-based lectures.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between organizational culture (innovation culture, relationship culture, hierarchy culture, task culture) as perceived by organizational members and its impact on organizational justice and job performance. This contributes to providing additional data for the revitalization and development of the organizational system for efficient management and operation measures included in the organization's sustainable management. To this end, the hypothesis established through the traditional process of quantitative research was tested as follows. First, organizational culture showed a positive effect on organizational justice. Second, organizational culture had a positive (+) effect on job performance. Third, organizational justice was significantly analyzed in terms of job performance. In other words, the importance of systematic re-establishment and continuous implementation of organizational culture (innovation culture, relationship culture, hierarchy culture, task culture) and organizational justice consistent with organizational characteristics was emphasized in order to improve job performance, which is the result of organizational competitiveness. In addition, it is the aspect of drawing practical implications for strategic human resource management and human resource development to systematically improve it.

EEG signals that are the same as those that have the same disabled people. So, the EEG signals are becoming the next generation. In this paper, we propose an internet of things system that controls the indoor environment using EEG signal. The proposed system consists EEG measurement device, EEG simulation software and indoor environment control device. We use data as EEG signal data on emotional imagination condition in a comfortable state and logical imagination condition in concentrated state. The noise of measured signal is removed by the ICA algorithm and beta waves are extracted from it. then, it goes through learning and test process using SVM. The subjects were trained to improve the EEG signal accuracy through the EEG simulation software and the average accuracy were 87.69%. The EEG signal from the EEG measurement device is transmitted to the EEG simulation software through the serial communication. then the control command is generated by classifying emotional imagination condition and logical imagination condition. The generated control command is transmitted to the indoor environment control device through the Zigbee communication. In case of the emotional imagination condition, the soft lighting and classical music are outputted. In the logical imagination condition, the learning white noise and bright lighting are outputted. The proposed system can be applied to software and device control based BCI.

The purpose of this study is to consider the characteristics of Latin American style expressed in modern fashion. Latin American fashion has been overlooked the influences, scope and diversity of dress within this world culture region. So, this study aim to unravel the history and significance of Latin American fashion. As for the research methodology, to classify types of the Latin American fashion style theoretical study and content analysis for Vogue magazine has been undertaken. In this study, the term of Latin American fashion style refers to the dress of common characteristics involving Latin American culture. To inquire into the characteristics of the types, various cases has been searched through books, internet, and designer's collections. The results of this study can be summarized as followings. The major types of Latin American fashion style are Indio-ethnic style, tropical-exotic style, and latin-romantic style. First, Indio-ethnic style has been involving traditional costumes and patterns which are originated in ancient Mexico and Peru. Second, tropical-exotic style has been involving bright color, tropical fruit and African flower pattern, various textures, and relaxed silhouette which are inspired by free and easy culture in Brazil and the Caribbean. Third, latin-romantic style has been involving the mix of Latin American tradition and romantic detail such as see-through material, lace, ruffle, spanish flower motif. In conclusion, Latin American style on contemporary fashion is based on interest to cannibalize folk theme, technique, icons and exotic others.

The purpose of this research is to study doll's symbolism representing our social culture and the characteristics of clothing design. The ball joint doll was selected, that are pretty much resembled to human body in terms of facial expression, body proportion, joint movement, etc. Results of research are summarized as follows: the ball joint doll is indicated a doll whose joints are free to move with a round shaped joint, which originated by Yochilya simon, who adopted German Hans Bellmer's method.'rho ball joint doll, first, there appeared state of human isolation due to the material civilization and industrial revolution, and trend of adhering to one's own world made human possess dolls. Second, according to the doll play became a representing play culture among Kidult culture, dolls, that are resembled with human being, were recognized as personalized objects. Third, along of expanding digital culture that makes easy to exchange information via Internet, so, ball joint doll market is growing fast, for which various levels of mania are being formed. Take a look at the doll fashion in modern society. In accordance to form of Look, it is largely categorized Young Casual look, Office look, Ethnic look and Military look. When take a look at design specialty, young casual look was presented as a comfortable silhouette and also made of elastic materials and expressed vivid bright tones. Office look image was expressed as a suit of jacket with skirt, and cotton wool polyester materials and acro-matic colors. Ethnic look was represented by Japanese traditional dress and Chinese traditional clothing. The Military look was generally emphasized army uniforms of straight silhouette and shoulder straps.

In this study, we examine a variety of influences in the field of design and analysis about the value of visual tactile design. In hair design, through study on visual tactility, creative design inspiration in the field of hair design enables development of quality research. Research methods use Internet publications such as local and foreign data, analysis, and related research and book forms, such as network searches. library goes for consideration by a literature search. Contents of this study used review of the case and by visual tactility design, for this study, expressive characteristics by color, texture and form of hair design, from 2014-2017 trend shown in the last three years the expressions of visual tactility being used through the analysis of design by date of the case. Result of this study is, visual tactile design appearing in the areas of hair design, that are not of the rules that are active, abstract form, texture, described as a visual feel the promotion of effective, and light and high brightness is sweet tactile impression, high saturation was cold, dark color was hard and heavy, red system is warm and the blue system is cold sense. In general, design trend in hair for three years from 2014-2017, visual tactility in 2014 is a high saturation and unstructured also soft and bright colors. 2015 is on the overall shape, color, texture, hybrid design configuration is more. As of 2016, 2017 is curved and straight texture, appearance of the hybrid mix to maximize the visual tactility.

Popular music unites people who have different genders, ages, locals, and values. Through the popular music, youth interchange their emotion and create their fashion. Fashion and music formed the twin pillars on which the first historically significant youth sub-culture was built. Glam rock and Punk rock which won popularity in the 1970s influenced the fashion of the times. The purpose of this study is to compare Glam and Punk make-up which appeared as a symbol of the rebel against an older generation. The methodology utilized in this study was the analysis of materials from the survey through the literature, internet sites, and visual references. The results of this study are as follows: In face make-up, Glam used a white base to appear cosmic; on the other hand, Punk used a white base to appear pale and horrid. In eye make-up, Glam used black, pink, and blue eye shadow, and accented the eye by using black eye lines. Punk used black eye shadow, and drew black circles or squares around eyes. In lip make-up, Glam used pink, purple, red, and black lip color and silver and pink lip gloss to glitter. Punk used red and black lip color to appear horrid. In body make-up, Glam used glitter powder to appear with a bright skin. Punk drew tattoos and horror patterns in their body. The common themes of Glam and Punk make-up were rebellion, androgyny, and the beauty of ugliness as well as a self-created persona.
