과학기술분야 연구활동 단계별 문제상황 극복을 위한 정보행동 연구 (Scientists' Information Behavior for Bridging the Gaps Encountered in the Process of the Scientific Research Lifecycle)

  • 본 연구는 과학기술분야 R&D 라이프사이클 각 단계 세부연구 목표를 달성하는 과정에서 이루어지는 정보행동(정보요구, 정보검색, 정보도구, 정보채널, 정보장애)을 과학기술커뮤니티 환경의 맥락에서 분석하였다. 이 연구는 의미형성이론, 일상생활정보탐색이론, 활동이론에 근거하여 과학기술자를 대상으로 질적 인터뷰연구를 통해 이루어졌으며, 연구결과 과학기술분야 R&D 라이프사이클 5단계는 14개의 세부 정보행동 단계로 이루어짐을 밝혀내었다. 과학기술 R&D 연구 세부단계별로 문제상황 극복을 위한 정보행동 규명은 연구자와 연구환경의 변화를 이해할 뿐만 아니라 향후 도서관 및 정보서비스 기관에서 과학기술 전주기적 정보서비스 전략을 수립하는데 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

경골 원위부 골절에서 최소 침습적 잠김 압박 금속판 고정술과 함께 최소 절개를 통한 골절편간 지연 나사 고정술을 시행한 경우의 치료 결과 (Clinical Outcomes of Combinations of Locking Compression Plate Fixation through Minimally Invasive Precutaneous Plate Osteosynthesis and Interfragmentary Screw Fixation in Distal Tibia Fracture)

  • Purpose: To analyze the outcome of distal tibia fracture treated with the Distal Tibia LCP with combination of interfragmentary screw. Materials and Methods: Between January 2008 and March 2012, data of 34 patients with fracture of distal tibia treated with the Distal Tibia LCP with or without combination of interfragmentary screws were reviewed. There were 17 males and 17 females with an average age of 51.8 years (range, 18~77 years). Radiographic union time and time from surgery until ability to full weight bearing were measured and compared. Callus index was measured as quotient of callus thickness and diameter of corticalis both in AP and sagittal direction. Results: 12 fractures were treated with interfragmentary screws and 22 fractures were treated with bridging plate alone. In interfragmentary fixation group, time to full weight bearing was 14 weeks versus 15.75 weeks without screw. Callus index at bearing was not significantly lesser in patients with screw compated with those without, but callus index difference at posterative 4weeks was sigficant. Radiologic union time was 11.3 weeks in interfragmentary fixation group and 12.58 weeks without screw. Conclusion: The osteosynthesis with the Distal tibia LCP with combination of interfragmentary screw seems to be more stable in postoperative 4weeks than Distal tibia LCP alone, expecting to earlier ROM exercise and rehabilitation.

PbO-Bi2O3-B2O3-SiO2 유리계 열시차분석과 FT-IR 흡수 스펙트럼 (DATA and FT-IR absorption spectra of PbO-Bi2O3-B2O3-SiO2 glasses)

  • $PbO-Bi_2O_3-B_2O_3-SiO_2$ 유리계의 DTA 곡선과 FT-IR 스펙트럼을 조사하였다. 유리전이 온도의 조성비 의존성은 60 mol% $Bi_2O_3$에서 유리계의 구조가 변화하는 것으로 나타났다. 높은 비스무스 함량을 가지는 시료의 FT-IR 스펙트럼 조사에서 무거운 양이온 $Bi^{3+}$의 단위구조와 관계되는 결합이 우세했으며 그리고 고함량의 $Bi_2O_3$ 시료에서도 역시 붕소원자의 3배위와 4배위 진동이 있었다. PbO함량이 높은 유리계의 경우, 비가교 산소밴드의 낮은 강도는 PbO의 망목형성제 역할에 기인 한 것으로 생각된다. 유리의 흡수대는 결정화상태에서 강도가 매우 큰 변화를 보였다.

소셜미디어를 통한 사회자본 형성 결정요인에 관한 연구: 대학생을 중심으로 (A Study on the Determinant Factors of the Social Capital Construction through Social Media: Focused on college students)

  • 본 연구는 개방형 네트워킹 사이트라고 할 수 있는 페이스북과 카카오스토리 이용자들을 대상으로 소셜미디어 이용과 이용동기, 그리고 소셜미디어 신뢰를 중심으로 사회자본(연결적 사회자본과 결속적 사회자본) 형성에 영향을 미치는 결정요인을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 대학생 261명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 IBM SPSS 21 프로그램과 IBM AMOS 21 프로그램을 적용, 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석, 상관관계 분석, 신뢰도 분석, 구조모형을 기반으로 한 경로분석 등을 수행하여 주요 결과를 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소셜미디어와 연결적 사회자본을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 소셜미디어 이용과 소셜미디어 이용동기중 즐거움/추억, 그리고 소셜미디어 신뢰가 연결적 사회자본에 통계적으로 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 소셜미디어와 결속적 사회자본을 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 소셜미디어 이용동기 중 정보/교류, 소셜미디어 신뢰가 결속적 사회자본에 통계적으로 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The effects of the angles of the knee and heel-off on the muscle activity during a bridge exercise

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the angles of the knee and heel-off on the muscle activity during a bridge exercise. METHODS: 15 healthy adult men and women with the balance ability and joint working range required for performing a bridge exercise participated in this study, in which $120^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$ and $60^{\circ}$ angles of the knee-flexion and heel-off were applied during the bridge exercise. RESULTS: Our data showed that there were significant differences in muscle activities of elector spinae and rectus abdominis when $120^{\circ}$ and $60^{\circ}$ angles of the knee were applied, of internal oblique when $120^{\circ}$ and $60^{\circ}$ were applied, and external oblique when $90^{\circ}$ and $60^{\circ}$ were applied. When heel-off was applied, there were significant differences in muscle activities of elector spinae and rectus abdominis when $120^{\circ}$ and $60^{\circ}$ were applied, of internal oblique when $120^{\circ}$ and $60^{\circ}$ were applied, and external oblique when $90^{\circ}$ and $60^{\circ}$ were applied. CONCLUSION: In this study on an application of heel-off to the bridge exercise, we showed that the effect of the angles of the knee on the muscle activities of elector spinae, rectus abdominis, internal oblique and external oblique were all similar to the regular bridge exercise, but overall muscle activities were increased with heel-off when compared with the regular bridge exercise.

국내 생물학적 동등성 시험 기준 개정 방향 (Considering Aspects for the Revision of Current Bioequivalence Guideline)

  • Bioequivalence (BE) studies provide important information in the overall set of data that ensure the availability of safe and effective medicines to patients and practitioners. Thus its determination of proper criterion for assessing BE is very important. BE is frequently expressed or measured by estimating area under the plasma concentration-time curve (AUC) and maximum concentration ($C_{max}$) that are reflective of systemic exposure. In all countries except Canada, the acceptance criteria of BE is that the 90% confidence interval of difference in the average values of logarithmic AUC and $C_{max}$ between test and reference products is within the acceptable range of log(0.8) ${\sim}$ log(1.25). In Canada, unlike other countries, point estimation instead of applying 90% confidence interval is applied to assess $C_{max}$ which is, in essence, more variable than AUC. We also compared other parts of BE guidelines which include a fed study, average BE (ABE), scaled-ABE, population BE (PBE), individual BE (IBE), dropout & withdrawal, sampling frequency & time and number of subjects. This article reviews the most recent BE guidelines of Korea, USA, Europe, Canada and Japan, highlighting the differences focused on Korean BE guidelines compared to other countries. It will help us to revise BE guideline of Korea reflecting international trends. Finally, it is strongly recommended that the extended acceptance criterion for the highly variable drug among all the considering aspects for the revision of current BE guideline has to be adopted into Korea BE guideline in the nearest future.

중소기업 정보화 수준 격차 해소방안에 관한 국가 간 비교연구 (How can we narrow the digital divide among SMEs in APEC member economies?)

  • This study, by adopting case study methodology, is focused on examining the present state and analyzing the cause of the digital divide, and suggesting policies for bridging the divide, specifically in view of SMEs. We have taken cases of manufacturing companies, visiting and interviewing 18 SMEs in 10 APEC member economies which show sharp difference in usage of ICT. In order to analyze the digital gap among SMEs, we used 5 variables that are composed of computer hardware, computer software, Internet, readiness of ICT, and performance of ICT adoption, while categorizing the cases into low and high tier based on the national ICT index. From a computer hardware perspective, the high tier (0.66) has almost double the number of PC’s per employee, compared with the low tiers (0.34). This gap can be explained by financial availability of low income and high tariff in the developing economies. In the computer software perspective, the SMEs in the low tier had some restrictive use of computer applications such as financial and accounting management and document management, while those in the high tier enjoyed more diversity in the use of applications such as inventory management, sales management, financial and accounting management, procurement management, CRM, and ERP. In view of the readiness of ICT, the difference in ICT infrastructure and financial status between the low and high tier was far wider than any other variables. As a result of ICT adoption, SMEs benefited in view of learning and growth, internal business processes, customer service, and financial affairs. To effectively bridge the digital divide between the low and high tier, actions such as setting up a secondary market of used computers among cooperating developed and developing countries, developing and diffusing good business applications, and building speedy, low-cost telecommunication infrastructures should be taken.

  • 성공적인 신제품 개발을 위해서 디자인과 마케팅의 통합은 중요하지만, 두 영역이 통합할 때에 명확하게 어떠한 문제가 발생하고 실제로 어떠한 방법으로 문제가 해결되는지에 관한 논의는 많지 않다. 본 연구에서는 디자인과 마케팅이 통합될 때 발생하는 구체적인 문제와 실질적인 해결책을 알아내기 위하여, 미국의 한 대학교에서 디자인 학생들과 마케팅 학생들을 대상으로 진행된 2년간의 통합적 신제품 개발 수업에서 설문조사를 실시하였다. 65명의 조사 결과에 따르면 (1) 기능적 차이에 따른 갈등과 (2) 의사결정 권한의 불균형이 구체적인 문제점으로 발견되었고, 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 (1) 의사소통을 강화하거나 (2) 의사소통을 단절하는 방법을 사용하는 것으로 드러났다. 본 연구의 결과가 가지는 디자인 마케팅 협업시의 통합 영역의 학문적 시사점을 정리해본다.

Improved Uniformity in Resistive Switching Characteristics of GeSe Thin Film by Ag Nanocrystals

  • ReRAM cell, also known as conductive bridging RAM (CBRAM), is a resistive switching memory based on non-volatile formation and dissolution of conductive filament in a solid electrolyte [1,2]. Especially, Chalcogenide-based ReRAM have become a promising candidate due to the simple structure, high density and low power operation than other types of ReRAM but the uniformity of switching parameter is undesirable. It is because diffusion of ions from anode to cathode in solid electrolyte layer is random [3]. That is to say, the formation of conductive filament is not go through the same paths in each switching cycle which is one of the major obstacles for performance improvement of ReRAM devices. Therefore, to control of nonuniform conductive filament formation is a key point to achieve a high performance ReRAM. In this paper, we demonstrated the enhanced repeatable bipolar resistive switching memory characteristics by spreading the Ag nanocrystals (Ag NCs) on amorphous GeSe layer compared to the conventional Ag/GeSe/Pt structure without Ag NCs. The Ag NCs and Ag top electrode act as a metal supply source of our devices. Excellent resistive switching memory characteristics were obtained and improvement of voltage distribution was achieved from the Al/Ag NCs/GeSe/Pt structure. At the same time, a stable DC endurance (>100 cycles) and an excellent data retention (>104 sec) properties was found from the Al/Ag NCs/GeSe/ Pt structured ReRAMs.

고관절 내전근 수축을 이용한 교각운동이 복부근육의 두께에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Bridge Exercise with Contraction of Hip Adductor Muscles on Thickness of Abdominal Muscles)

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the hip adductor muscles and abdominal muscles during bridge exercise. METHOD: Participants who met the criteria for this study(n=36) were divided into the three groups. The first experimental group performed normal bridge exercises and the second group performed bridge exercises with the contraction of the hip adductor muscles and the control group didn't perform any exercise. Transversus abdominis muscle thickness was measured by ultrasound imaging with a special transducer head device, at pre exercise, after 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 6 weeks. RESULT: Data were analyzed using repeated ANOVA with the level of significance set at ${\alpha}=.05$. Transversus abdominis muscle thickness was influenced by contraction of the hip adductor muscles during bridge exercise in people without lower back pain. Compared with normal bridge exercise, transversus abdominis muscle thickness significantly increased in thickness during bridge exercise with contraction of the hip adductor muscles(p<.05). CONCLUSION: The results from this study showed that contraction of the hip adductor muscles during bridge exercise increased change in the transversus abdominis muscle thickness. These results can be a good source to prevent low back pain due to hip adductor weakness. Therefore, inducing activation of hip adductor with abdominal stabilizing exercise is more effective in patients with low back pain.
