고대 로마 신화에 등장한 신들의 복식 연구 (A Study on the Costume of the Gods in the Ancient Roman Myths)

  • The costume for gods in the Ancient Roman myth was studied by examining in the embossed-carving, sculptures, mural-painting and various documents of the period. The clothes item, hairstyle, symbol & ornaments and shoes of the gods in the Roman myths were analyzed to understand the formative process in the religious costumes, and results are as follows. First, the costumes for male gods are the same as those for ordinary men lived in ages, including toga, paludamentum, tebenna, tunica. The costumes for female gods are also the same as those for ordinary women lived in ages, including stola, palla, tunica. Second, the hairstyle of male gods is short curled-hair, twisty roll-up hair and braid long-hair due to the influence of Etrurian in the early days. Another hairstyle is appeared in form of the laurelled-crown. The hairstyle of female gods is curled long-hair, chignon style and braid roll-up hair decorated with hairband. Third, the symbol & ornaments which represent the responsible possession of male gods, are appeared in beard, a stick of the message, arrow-case, offering-dish, antlered-glass, shield, spear-handle, as the superhuman forms, such as the lightning shape. For female gods they are is appeared plastron, a stick of the message, flower. some female gods wear necklace, foot-ring, bracelet. Fourth, male gods wear shoes in forms of sandal, buskin, boots, but all female gods are in barefoot. It could be explained by the fact that a man-centered society in the ancient roman is reflected in the world of gods. As mentioned, Gods costume in Roman myths was very similar to or nothing different from the ordinary peoples in Rome. However, they used corps, sacrifices or sepcific symbols depending on the fields that they were responsible for in order to be distinguished from the ordinary people. This is the result from the peoples expression that they should keep a close relationship with Gods hoping to be protected, and rely on them under whatever circumstances.

기록물 전거통제 기반 Linked Data 구축에 대한 연구 (The Design and Development of Linked Data from Authority Data in National Archives of Korea)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국형 Linked Data Cloud를 위한 단계로 국가기록원 전거데이터 셋을 Linked Data화하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 국가기록원 전거 데이터의 구조 및 검색시스템을 분석한 후, 전거데이터 셋을 RDF/OWL로 모델링하는 과정을 거쳐 Linked Data로 구축하였다. 또한 기록물의 Linked Data화를 위해 Dublin Core, SKOS(Simple Knowledge Organization System)를 활용하였고 온톨로지 설계도구로 TopBraid Composer TM을 사용하였다. 구축된 RDF/OWL 데이터는 시각화화면을 통해 전거데이터의 자유로운 확장, 전거데이터 용어간의 탐색, 용어의 상세 전거데이터의 접근이 가능하도록 하였으며, 기록물과 연계를 통해 기존 기록물 검색에서 한계로 지적되었던 기록물과 전거데이터간의 연계의 부족을 보완하였다.

방향성 안테나에 기반을 둔 이동 애드 혹 네트워크에서의 대체 경로 설정 (On Alternative Path Setup for Directional Antenna Based Mobile Ad Hoc Networks)

  • 본 논문에서는 방향성 안테나를 이용하는 애드 혹 네트워크에 있어서 노드의 고장이나 이동에 따라 라우팅 경로가 이용 불가능하게 되는 경우 해당 노드의 braid라 명명된 이웃 노드로 우회하도록 함으로서 신속하게 경로를 복구하도록 하는 다중 경로 라우팅 기법을 제안 한다. $1,000m{\times}1,000M$의 영역에 50개의 노드가 균등하게 분포되며 10m/s 이하의 노드 이동 환경에서 전방향 안테나를 사용하는 경우(사용 안테나 요소수 K=1)와 비교하여 방향성 안테나를 사용하는 경우(K>1), 제안 방식은 패킷 전송률과 라우팅 홉 수 등의 측정 항목에 있어 우수하였다. 개선점으로 경로 설정 시 수반되는 지연시간을 단축하는 것이 필요하다.

Thermoforming Technology of Textile Composite Tubes

  • Thermoforming of fiber reinforced thermoplastic (FRTP) braided tubes was studied as a new forming technique. FRTP braided tubes with four plies are fabricated by the pressure bonding method are used in thermoforming. Bulge forming, bending process, pipe fittings and FE analysis are carried out in this study. In bulge forming the composite tube can be expanded up to about two times initial diameter. The suggested bending process can be obtained bent products with various bending radii. In pipe fitting it is possible to fabricate T-shape fitting, cross fitting and two-branch fitting. These results exhibit developed forming processes become useful processes for textile composite tubes.

Torsion Pendulum for Monitoring Curing Behavior of an Epoxy Resin under Hydrostatic Pressure

  • A newly designed torsion pendulum operating at high pressures and various temperatures has been constructed. The High Pressure Torsion Pendulum(HPTP) is capable of containing gaseous pressure to 690MPa(100, 000psi) and operating at temperatures from-$100^{\circ}C$ to $300^{\circ}C$. A glass fiber braid is installed between two sample holders to accommodateliquid samples. The HPTP was fully automated and computerized using an IBM-AT personal computer to control initiation of oscillation, collect digitized data, and calculate the shear and loss moduli from damped curves, The curing process of an epoxyamine(DGEBA-DDS) system under various pressures up to 124 MPa(18, 000 psi) at $150^{\circ}C$has been successfully carried out and some results are presented.

  • In this paper, the stress and deformation characteristics of the high pressure hose that have the hose components such as rubber, braid and steel( sleeve and nipple) during the manufacturing process, and analyzed using the [mite element method The swaging process is modeled with a contact problem in identical conditions of real circumstances, and the properties of hose materials based on the experimental data are used in this analysis. Also, to understand the effect of the nipple protrusions on the deformation characteristics of a power steering hose among the steel materials shape of the existing model, and changed the steel materials shape partially, and compared with the existing model.

  • 본 연구는 시맨틱웹 응용의 중심 기술인 웹 온톨로지의 표현과 추론을 위해 서술 논리와 규칙언어를 기반으로하는 웹 온톨로지 모델링 방법을 제안한다. 현재 웹 온톨로지 표현 언어인 OWL DL은 서술 논리에 근거하여 표현되는 것이나, 기계나 온톨로지 공학자가 OWL로 기술된 온톨로지를 직관적으로 이해하고 공유할 수 있는 형식적이고 명시적인 온톨로지의 지식 표현은 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 시맨틱웹이 목적하는 웹 온톨로지 구축을 위한 웹 온톨로지 모델링 방법으로 웹 온톨로지 모델링 계층을 제안하고, 제안된 각 계층에 따라 서술 논리의 TBox와 ABox의 구조와 SWRL을 기반으로 지식을 표현하는 웹 온톨로지 모델링 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 웹 온톨로지 모델링 방법의 성능 검증을 위해 제안 방법에 따라 웹 온톨로지를 구축하였고, SPARQL과 TopBraid의 DL Inference를 이용하여 구축된 웹 온톨로지의 성능을 검증하였다.

Prediction of Effective Material Properties for Triaxially Braided Textile Composite

  • In this study, finite element modeling was used to predict the material properties of tri-axially braided textile composite. The model was made based on an experimental test specimen which was also used to compare the final results. The full interlacing of tows was geometrically modelled, from which repeating parts that make up the whole braid called unit cells were identified based on the geometric and mechanical property periodicity. In order to simulate the repeating nature of the unit cell, periodic boundary conditions were applied. For validation of the method, a reference model was analyzed for which a very good agreement was obtained. Material property calculation was done by simulating uniaxial and pure shear tests on the unit cell. The comparison of these results with that of experimental test results showed an excellent agreement. Finally, parametric study on the effect of number of plies, stacking type (symmetric/anti-symmetric) and stacking phase shift was conducted.

  • This study reports on the pressure relief design and braided composite of surge arrester. Surge arresters with porcelain housing must not have explosive breakage of the housing to minimize damage to other equipment when subjected to internal high short circuit current. As a solution, this study describes pressure relief design performance of arresters with braided composite module. In general, braided composite has Potential for improved impact and delamination resistance. Manufacturing processes of the braided composite could also be automated and could potentially lead to lower costs. Therefore, in consideration of characteristics of pressure relief for polymer arrester, the fabric pattern of braided composite was decided. And Polymer arrester module was manufactured with braid. The mechanisms of pressure occurrence and relief were investigated basically by analyzing arc energy and the correlation between thermal shock and indoor pressure in pressure relief test.
