The purpose of this study is to develop the teaching competency tool of university teachers with responsibility for college education and analyze the need for change. We have developed teaching competency to strengthen the competencies required for university professors' responsibilities and community activities in and out of universities and the contents validity was examined from 24 experts. The developed tools were used to diagnose the 83 teachers of K university in Chungcheongnam-do, and to derive basic competence, educational practice competence, and community competence through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. The teaching competencies include 'Understanding of college education', 'Educational philosophy and attitude', 'Teacher attitude', 'Analysis design', 'Instruction execution', 'Guidance management', 'Evaluation feedback', 'Academic convergence', 'Sympathy learning culture', and 'Global sharing'. The results of the paired t-test and the analysis of the need for change through the analysis of Borich coefficient analysis were as follows: Understanding of university education (4th rank), analysis design (5th rank), instruction execution(2nd rank), empathy learning culture (1st rank), and global sharing (3rd rank). The competence of university teachers is not only the ability to practice teaching, but also the ability to understand university education and to empathize and share with the members of the university community. In the future, the university should actively develop and provide ongoing support programs to strengthen the capacity of professors.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences between freshmen and the other students' career development competencies and educational needs. To achieve this, the survey was carried out and 362 undergraduates participated. The findings of the survey were shown as follows: First, the students perceived that effective interpersonal relationships and positive self-concept formation were more needed. Second, only the positive self-concept formation showed statistically significant differences. Third, the rating of the educational needs was identical from the first place to the forth, but different from the fifth to the sixth. Fourth, by the Locus for Focus model, more information was identified about educational needs of students. These results will contribute to develop the career education programs.

The purpose of this study was to identify the priority of the ISO auditors' specialized knowledge and job skills required to perform their duties, along with their personal characteristics, in order to enhance field-based auditing capability. For achieving the objectives of the study, the questionnaire consisted of a total of 50 competency factors, adding personal characteristics area to the ISO 19011-based specialized knowledge and job skills areas and the survey was conducted on the currently active ISO auditors with a five-point recert scale. Based on the results of the survey, the importance and present of ISO auditors in 3 competency areas were verified statistically significant difference through a t-test. The top priority and next priority competency factors for the overall competency and each competency areas were obtained through the Borich coefficient and the Locus for Focus Model. Considering the top priority competency factors in each competency areas identified from the study results, it can help develop related auditing curriculum. for improving the auditors' competency, and furthermore, it is expected to help strengthen ISO management system including quality, health & safety, environment and business continuity for companies.

The purposes of this study is to investigate the influence of career recognition upon career development competencies and educational needs. To achieve this, the survey was carried out and 362 undergraduates participated. The findings of the survey were shown as follows: First, the students perceived that career management was needed the most, and then came career information searches. Next, career transition technologies, positive self-concept formation, career planning, and effective interpersonal relationships were in order. Second, the influence of career recognition upon the level of the preparations showed statistically significant differences, however, the influence of career recognition upon the level of the requirement did not reveal statistically significant differences. Third, the rating of the educational needs was identical from the first place to the third, but different from the fourth to the sixth. These results will contribute to enhancing the efficiency of career education.
