This study looks upon the borderless phenomenon of genres and at the disintegration of boundaries in fashion, the current 'borderless trend', and analyze modern men's fashion having borderless phenomenon under social changes and disclose current men's fashion. The borderless phenomenon of men's fashion declines traditional image of gender and expresses modern men's images strongly in accordance with social changes: Thus, in modern days, men's images have changed from muscular men having show-off and superiority to women-like men having pearly skin and slender figure. Men's fashion also looked for feminization to let men like make-up, beauty salon, cosmetic surgery and women-like hair style, etc. Men have been also given women's sexy and sensual beauty to put on innerwear as an outerwearization. The Influx and mixing of mutually different cultures is expressed in Hippie, Ethnic, Oriental trends. Mutually opposing country's factors mix so that a new culture is established. Also, the sharing of fashions amongst younger and older generation has occurred for reasons that are similar to the reasons above.

사운드 아트 분야의 성장과 확장이 활발해질수록 우리는 다양한 예술적 작품들과 활동들을 현명하게 향유하고 적합하게 감상하기 위해 예술사회학적(sociology of the arts) 그리고 인지과학적 관점을 수용하여 고려해야 할 필요가 있다. 그 이유는 현 시대에서 창작되는 새로운 예술의 가치평가는 오늘날의 복잡한 환경, 예술 생산, 그리고 소비에 대한 분석과 검증을 바탕으로 평가와 비평을 되어야 하기 때문이며 이러한 평론이 신예술의 중흥을 위해 필요하기 때문이다. 본 논문은 음악계과 미술계의 관점을 넘어서 사회학적으로 사운드 아트를 분석하고 비평하여야 하는 이유, 그리고 그동안 국내 사운드 아트 실천의 유일한 활동 무대였던 다원예술분야의 지원등이 어떻게 변화되었는지를 간략히 짚어서 앞으로 이러한 탈경계적(borderless)이거나 실험적인(experimental) 예술 분야의 발전을 위해 나아갈 방향을 모색해보고자 한다.

본 연구는 관계미학의 '정동적 전회(Affective Turn)'를 이론의 근거로 삼아 미디어아트 작품을 분석하고, 그 특성을 논하고자 한다. 디지털 예술작품에 대한 새로운 접근과 분석 방법을 시도함으로써 미디어 예술작품의 특성을 도출하였다는데에 실천적 의의를 갖는다. 이를 위한 본 연구의 전개는 미디어아트와 관계미학에 대해 문헌을 중심으로 고찰하고, 이를 기초하여 Teamlab의 미디어아트를 대상으로 사례연구를 진행한다. 본 연구는 가상현실과 증강현실을 이용한 미디어아트에 대한 관계 미학의 관점에서 분석한 결과 실제를 넘어선 보더리스(Borderless), 공유성의 특성을 보이고 있다. 이를 바탕으로 사람과 자연, 사람과 사회, 생물과 환경과의 관계를 연결하고, 관람객으로 하여금 사물과의 관계와 통합을 느끼게 한다. 새로운 미디어 예술에 관한 본 연구는 관련연구의 기초자료로써 활용되길 기대하며, 또한, 현대예술과 대중 간의 상호작용을 강화하는데 일조하기를 기대한다.

'국경없는 마을'이란 안산외국인노동자센터가 1999년부터 안산시 원곡동 일대에서 다양한 나라 출신의 이주노동자들을 상대로 추진하고 있는 지역에서의 다문화공동체 형성 운동이다. 우리들은 다음과 같은 몇 가지 점에서 국경없는 마을 프로젝트에 관한 사회과학적 조망이 필요하다고 판단한다. 첫째, 지구화와 지역화의 상호영향 관계를 국경없는 마을이라는 구체적인 사례를 통해 조사해볼 필요가 있다. 둘째, 이 프로젝트는 소위 성찰적 근대화론이라는 이론 기획과 지구성, 지역주의, 다문화공동체, 지구시민사회시민권 등 여러 가지 개념들을 공유하고 있다. 따라서 이 프로젝트의 현실적인 효과를 검토해봄으로써 성찰적 근대화론의 한국적 적용 가능성을 우회적으로나마 타진해볼 수 있다. 셋째, 현장과 이론 사이의 개방적인 상호작용을 보여주고 있다는 점에서 이 프로젝트가 진행되는 과정 자체가 우리 사회의 새로운 공론장을 창출하는 과제와 관련, 주목해볼 가치가 있다. 마지막으로 이 프로젝트는 기존의 사회운동론의 범주들로는 설명될 수 없는 새로운 사회문제들의 출현이라는 문제를 제기하고 있다. 우리들의 잠정적인 결론은 이 프로젝트가 선구적이며 실험적인 것임에는 틀림없으나 새로운 사회운동, 이론으로서 실질적인 영향력을 행사하기에는 여전히 너무 추상적이라는 한계를 보이고 있다는 것으로 모아진다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the present fashion phenomenon by considering the types of Hiphop that shows the origination background and special feature. Popular music plays the most significant role in this 'age of culture' by its musical and visual methods through mass media. A fashion reflects and represents the culture of it's era. From the early 1990's a new fashion style called 'Hiphop' has become a universal hit among teenagers and even among those in 20s and 30s. As we can see from these points Hiphop fashion has the characteristics of being sporty borderless and genderless. In other words fashion represents individal's unique characters and their culture. This is why the study of fashion trends such as Hiphop is important; becanuse they can give us a series of fascinating insights into all sorts and conditions of men and women in our time : how they view theselves and how they choose to relate to other people whether of their own age or otherwise.

The purpose of this study was to understand the new generation's culture and to analyze if the characteristics of their lifestyle is significant for the study of new generation's fashion. The new generation's characteristics of lifestyle can be described as a strong pride of their own self and the life which expresses that pride. To analyze this characteristics connecting it with fashion, it is as follows: -It is the egocentric sensitivity culture. In their fashion, there appears a tendency that sense and individuality are counted much rather than fashion. -Diverse fashion information is gained through the mass media and communication. The sense for fashion is liable to change according to the circumstances and, simulated world is made. -The sense of denial is not shown much to the western lifestyle and way of thinking owning to the international open culture. Their consciousness and favorite of fashion are beyond the border. The new generation showed the unprecedent way of expression, denying the established form, and this is defined as Borderless fashion. The Borderless fashion leads a whole trend of new generation's fashion in the late part of ninties. Two typical trends appear as Genderless look for the individualic group and Romanticism look laying stress on womanliness.

사운드아트는 태생적으로 이종적(heterogeneous)이고 탈경계적인 특성을 지닌 예술 활동을 통해 진화했다. 창의적으로 인정받는 예술가들이 마음껏 활동할 수 있는 비옥한 토양이 형성되기 어려운 비주류 예술분야임에도 오늘날 국내 사운드아트 분야의 성장과 확장은 계속 진행되고 있다. 그리고 앞으로는 미술계와 음악계 사이의 진영논쟁을 넘어 탈제도권적인 작품들과 활동들까지도 폭넓게 수용하면서 다양한 비평을 열 수 있는 시대가 올 것이다. 본 논문은 사운드아트의 역사사적 특이점과 발자취를 간단히 살펴서 향후 사운드아트를 위해 개선된 토론장을 만들어가는 데 참고자료로 도움이 되게 하고자 한다.
