Autonomous Omni-Directional Cleaning Robot System Design

  • In this paper, an autonomous omni directional cleaning robot which recognizes an obstacle and a battery charger is introduced. It utilizes a robot vision, ultra sonic sensors, and infrared sensors information along with appropriate algorithm. Three omni-directional wheels make the robot move any direction, enabling a faster maneuvering than a simple track typed robot. The robot system transfers command and image data through Blue-tooth wireless modules to be operated in a remote place. The robot vision associated with sensor data makes the robot proceed in an autonomous behavior. An autonomous battery charger searching is implemented by using a map-building which results in overcoming the error due to the slip on the wheels, and camera and sensor information.

  • 최근 U-헬스케어 서비스가 증가함에 따라 예방과 건강증진 등에 관심과 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 U-헬스케어에 사용되는 ECG, EMG, PPG EEG등이 스마트폰 기반의 휴대용 장비와 연동된 센서들의 연구 역시 활발히 진행 중이다. 일반적으로 PPG신호는 적외선센서를 이용하여 모세혈관의 혈중 헤모글로빈 농도 변화에 의한 맥파를 측정한다. PPG신호의 잡음을 제거하기 위해 필터를 사용하였다. 필터된 정보를 ADC하여 스마트폰으로 BlueTooth통신을 이용하여 전송한다. 최종적으로 스마트 디바이스에 PPG신호를 그린다. 제작결과 PPG아날로그 신호를 보는 것과 동일하게 스마트 디바이스에 그릴 수 있음을 보였다. 이후 PPG신호를 이용하여 혈관건강도 및 건강예방의 측정의 연구를 계속해서 한다.

Implementation of Bluetooth Secure Simple Pairing (SSP) using Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC)

  • In this paper we study the problem of implementation of security issues of blue tooth, especially secure simple pairing, with the help of an efficient four user authenticated key (4UAK) for an elliptic curve cryptography (ECC). This paper also deals with the design, implement and performance evaluation of secure simple pairing (SSP) using an elliptic curve cryptography, such as Diffie Hellman protocol when four users are involved. Here, we also compute the best, worst and average case step counts (time complexities). This work puts forth an efficient way of providing security in blue tooth. The time complexity of O(n4) is achieved using Rabin Miller Primality methodology. The method also reduces the calculation price and light communication loads.

체크 패션에 나타난 미적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Aesthetic Characteristics in Check Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the aesthetic characteristics of check fashion of the 20th century and to analyze the formativeness for them shown in recent collections. The results of this study are as follows; 1) Before the First World War, check patterns were used for S silhouette dresses and hobble dresses. During the two wars, they were used for garçonne style dresses and military suits. Check patterns were used for mini style in the 1960s, uni-sex style in the 1970s, and power suits in the 1980s. Especially after the 1980s, check patterns have followed the fashion trend of each season and appeared in retro styles. Consequently, the aesthetic characteristics of check dresses of the 20th century are traditionality, ornamentation and eclecticism. 2) Traditionality of check fashion shown in recent collections was implied in the classic styles like suits with its grey glen check, avant-garde styles like boxy coat with its dark blue tartan check, and so forth. Ornamentation was shown in the modern styles like jackets decorated with block check colored white and black, casual styles like bomber jackets with hound tooth check colored white and black, and so forth. Eclecticism was reflected in the romantic styles like one-piece dresses with hound tooth check colored white and light blue, elegant styles like low-cut dress with its dark blue window pane check, ethnic styles like long cape with gingham check colored white and black, and so forth.

상아질 접착제의 상아세관 밀봉지속효과에 관한 연구 (A STUDY OF THE DURABILITY OF DENTINAL TUBULE SEALING EFFECTS OF DENTIN BONDING AGENTS)

  • The purpose of this study was to observe the sealing ability and durability of All-Bond 2, Gluma Bonding System, Scotch bond 2 and Superbond D-liner which are dentin bonding agents used as desensitizing agents. The durability of the sealing ability of the materials were compared after 0, 140, 420, 840 tooth brushing strokes. 120 extracted teeth were divided into 5 groups and the agents were applied to the exposed dentin. No agents was applied on group I, the control group. Each specimen went through thermocycling from $5^{\circ}$ to $55^{\circ}C$, 200 times. Each group was devide into 4 subgroups and artificial tooth brushing strokes were done for 0, 140, 420, 840 times. Finally the specimens were stored in 0.5 % methylene blue solution for 24 hours in a incubator set at $37^{\circ}C$. The tooth were sectioned perpendicular to the long axis and the dye penetration ratio to the pulp was measured. The following results were obtained. 1. All four dentin bonding agents initially showed excellent sealing ability. 2. All-bond 2, Gluma Bonding System and Superbond D-liner showed durability of dentinal tubule sealing effect after 840 strokes(6-week) artificial tooth brushing. 3. Scotchbond 2 showed a significant decrease in sealing ability after 420 strokes(3-week) artificial tooth brushing. (P<0.05).

iBeacon을 활용한 측위 시스템 위치추정 기법 (Location Estimation Method of Positioning System utilizing the iBeacon)

  • 본 논문에서는 블루투스 4.0에서부터 지원하는 BLE(BlueTooth Low Energy) 프로토콜 장치인 iBeacon을 활용하여 사용자의 위치를 측정하는 시스템에서 추정 결과를 개선하는 기법을 연구하였다. iBeacon의 상황별 신호를 시스템을 통해 측정한 뒤 수집된 데이터 분석을 통하여 간섭 요인을 분석하고 보정을 위해 EKF(Extended Kalman Filter)를 적용하였다. 필터 적용 후 데이터와 기존 데이터와 비교하고, 추정 결과의 개선을 확인하였다. 제안하는 위치추정기법은 실제 구현에 복잡성이 적고, iBeacon 기본 환경의 취약한 위치 서비스 개선에 효과적이다.

Blue-tooth based blood sugar control application

  • These days, citizens have made change of food life to take Western style food and to suffer from diabetes because of excessive nutrition taking, less exercise, stress and other environmental factors. They may suffer from diabetes because of genetic defect, surgery of pancreas, disinfection and medicine and others. One of ten Koreans may have symptom of diabetes to be popular. The diabetes that is a kind of metabolic disease has high blood sugar at disorder of hyper insulinism and/or defect of insulin action. Long time high blood sugar may produce chronic disease of kidney, eyes, nerve, heart and blood vessel and others. The purpose of health care of diabetes patient was to reach target blood sugar by diet, physical exercise and medicine and to prevent and delay complication. Diabetes patient shall control blood sugar to keep healthy. The blood sugar control requires time and effort, and all of the patients are difficult to make effort and to spend time. You can control blood sugar by the application. The application allows patients to control blood sugar and to save time and efforts and to make small sized input and automation of remaining area. The service was limited to blood sugar graph, and user carries smart phone to conduct test and to have difficulty. Further study needs to solve the problems and to investigate blood sugar testing not carrying smart phone and to make application of easy control of blood sugar.

치과 캐드캠 ISO평가 기준에 준한 지대치 경석고 모형 및 인상체 스캐닝의 반복측정안정성 비교 평가 (Comparative evaluation of repeatability of scanning abutment tooth stone model and impression : Applied assessment of CAD/CAM ISO standard in dentistry)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study compared to evaluation of repeatability of scanning abutment tooth stone model and impression applied CAD/CAM ISO standard in dentistry. Methods: To evaluate repeatability of scanning abutment tooth stone model, were repeatedly scanned to obtain 11 data via 3D stereolithography (STL) files. 10 data (STL files) were compared with the first 3D data (STL file), and the error sizes were measured by using 3D superimposing software(n=10). Also, the repeatability of scanning abutment tooth impression was evaluated with the same procedure. Independent t test was performed to evaluate the repeatability of scanning abutment tooth stone model versus impression through root mean square(RMS) and standard deviation(SD)(${\alpha}=0.05$). Results: $RMS{\pm}SD$ with regard to repeatability were $14.7{\pm}2.5{\mu}m$, $17.1{\pm}4.0{\mu}m$, respectively, with scanning abutment tooth stone model and impression(p=0.129). Conclusion: This study results showed a little different repeatability of scanning abutment tooth stone model and impression applied CAD/CAM ISO standard in dentistry, will suggest futures good studies and clinical advantages.

표면 처리 방법에 따라 칫솔질이 IPS Empress 도재의 외부 stain에 미치는 영향에 대한 분광 측색 방법적 분석 (SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECT OF TOOTHBRUSHING ON EXTERNALLY STASHED IPS EMPRESS PORCELAIN)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the long term tooth-brushing effect on the color change of specially treated IPS Empress porcelain surface. Staining techique with blue stain and liquid was used. The surfaces of the specimen were treated with 5% and 10% Hydrofluoric acid, 50mm and 250mm alumina sandblast, and then blue stain and liquid were used for external stain. After 29,200, 58,400, 87,600, 116,200 brushing strokes (equivalent to 2, 4, 6, 8 years each), color changes of the stained layer were measured with spectrophotometer(CM-3500d, MINOLTA, Tolkyo, Japan). The result of this study was obtained as follows : 1. The color changes were great after 29,200 tooth brushing strokes in every group, but from 29,200 strokes to 116,800 strokes, there were no significant color changes in each group. (p>0.05) 2. The greastest color changes were observed in 5% HF treated group and the least color changes were observed in $50{\mu}m$ aluminar sandblast treated group in every stroke (p<0.05), but no statistical difference between groups compared with control group (p>0.05). According to these results, pretreatment of I.P.S. Empress porcelain with alumina sandblast improved the color stability It is thought that about 8 year-tooth brushing strokes does not change the color of IPS Empress porcelain significantly on this condition, but long term follow-up will be needed.

잇솔질이 도재의 색 안정성에 미치는 영향 (EFFECT ON THE COLOR STABILITY OF STAINED PORCELAIN DUE TO TOOTH BRUSHING)

  • This study is going to compare the degree of color change which occurs in the following two cases of the factors which cause the color change of extra-staining, one is during glazing by the dental technician, the other is tooth brush abrasion which makes the biggest influence on color change. To compare the degree of color change before and after glazing, a sample was made with vintage incisal porcelain No. 59 OPAL(Shofu Inc, Japan), after that it was painted with three colors of porcelain stainers, then the degree of color was measured with a spectrophometer(Model Chromaview 300, Spectoron Tech Co. Korea) after it had been treated with firing only and glazing after firing 40,000-cycle and 80,000-cycle of tooth brush abrasion test were carried out in order to simulate the brushing effect of 4 years and 8 years by using the abrasion tester. The colors were measured before the test, and after the 40,000-cycle and 80.000-cycle operations and the surfaces were examined by SEM. The results of this study were as follows ; 1. The color change before and after glazing was not great enough to have a clinical significance but the orange color was changed more significantly statistically than the blue and light brown(p<0.05). 2. In the case of the color change of stained porcelain by tooth brushing, carrying out staining and glazing with two-times firings resulted in statically less color change than one firing only(p<0.05). 3. In the case of the difference in the stainer's color, the orange color which has higher chroma was statically more sensitive than the blue color(p<0.05) 4. In the case of the color change after the 80,000-cycle abrasion, all showed color change when there was one firing and the orange stainer showed some color change with clinical significance when firings were done two times.
