Pichia anomala JK04와 Saccharomyces cerevisiae Fermivin 혼합발효에 의한 캠벨얼리 와인과 아로니아 와인의 블렌딩 효과 (Blending effect of Campbell Early and aronia wines fermented by the mixed culture of Pichia anomala JK04 and Saccharomyces cerevisiae Fermivin)

  • 본 연구는 국산 캠벨얼리 와인의 주질 개선과 기능성 향상을 위해 캠벨얼리 뿐만 아니라 안토시아닌과 폴리페놀 성분이 풍부하여 항산화능이 우수하다고 알려진 아로니아를 이용하여 상업용 효모인 S. cerevisiae Fermivin과 향미증진능을 지닌 P. anomala JK04를 각각 단독 또는 5:5(v/v)의 비율로 혼합발효한 후 블렌딩하는 실험을 진행하였다. 최적 블렌딩 비율을 정하기 위하여 예비실험으로 캠벨얼리 와인에 아로니아 와인을 각각 5, 10, 20%(v/v) 첨가하여 항산화능과 관능검사를 실시하였으며, 실험 결과를 바탕으로 캠벨얼리 와인과 아로니아 와인의 블렌딩 비율을 9:1(v/v)로 설정하였다. P. anomala JK04로 단독발효한 캠벨얼리 와인은 낮은 알코올 함량으로 인해 블렌딩에서 제외하였고, 나머지는 발효에 이용된 균주에 따라 블렌딩하였다. 블렌딩와인의 기능성을 평가하기 위하여 총 안토시아닌 함량, DPPH 라디칼 소거능, 총 페놀성 화합물 함량 분석을 진행하였으며, 모든 블렌딩와인에서 대조구인 S. cerevisiae로 단독발효한 캠벨얼리보다 높은 수치를 나타내었다. 블렌딩와인의 유리당 분석 결과에서는 P. anomala JK04로 단독발효한 아로니아 와인을 첨가한 시험구(A,D)에서 glucose와 fructose 같은 잔당이 남아있는 것을 확인하였으며, 유기산 분석 결과에서는 상기 두 시험구에서 특히 malic acid 함량이 높게 측정되었다. 블렌딩와인의 외관적 품질을 검사하기 위해 색도, 휘발성 향기성분, 관능검사가 수행되었으며, P. anomala JK04를 사용 여부에 따라 A, B, C와 D, E, F 순으로 hue와 intensity 값이 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 또한 Hunter's color value에서는 아로니아 와인의 첨가가 와인의 a value와 b value를 증가시키는 경향을 나타내었다. 휘발성 향기성분분석에서는 P. anomala JK04의 사용이 와인에 부정적인 성분인 aldehyde와 acid 함량이 소폭 증가시키긴 하였지만, 중요한 향기성분은 ester 화합물의 함량이 큰 폭으로 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. 관능검사 결과에서는 P. anomala JK04로 단독발효한 아로니아 와인을 사용한 시험구(A,D)에서 색, 맛, 신맛, 전반적인 기호도에서 다른 시험구보다 높은 점수를 받았으며, 향기 항목에서는 모든 블렌딩와인이 대조구보다 높은 점수를 받았다. 본 연구에서는 캠벨얼리 와인에 아로니아 와인을 블렌딩하여 기능성을 증가시켰으며, S. cerevisiae Fermivin과 P. anomala JK04를 혼합발효하여 향기성분의 증가 및 관능적 품질이 향상됨을 확인하였다.

삼성분 전분혼합에 의한 이겹지의 층간결합강도 개선 (The Effects of Blending Starches on the Development of Plybond Strength of Two-ply Linerboard)

  • The effects of blending starches with different gelatinization temperatures on the development of ply-bond strength were systematically investigated using a three component mixture design technique. Oxidized corn starches with different gelatinization temperatures were blended with natural corn starch and sprayed for plybonding. Optimum blend ratio for maximizing plybond strength improvement for the starch blends was 40% of natural starch, 27% of oxidized starch with low gelatinization temperature and 33% of oxidized starch with high gelatinization temperature. Starch granules with the lowest gelatinization temperature gelatinizes at the lowest temperature, while the natural corn starch gelatinizes at later stage of drying. The improvement of plybond strength with starch blends were verified on machine trial as well. Plybond strength improvement obtained from the machine trial was lower than that achievable with handsheets, which was attributed to the lower internal bond strength of the linerboards made from recycled fibers.

참기름 혼합유의 산화안정성 (Oxidative Stability of Sesame Blended Oils)

  • In the present study, an attempt was made to investigate the oxidative stability of the various sesasme blended oils. Sesame blended oils were perpared by mixing sesame oil with various vegetalbe oils (soybean oil, corn oil, ricebran oil, rapeseed oil, cottonseed oil, and perilla oil) in a ratio of 3:7 (w/w). Fatty acid composition and some of physico-chemical characteristics of the sesame blended oils and vegetable oils including sesame oil were determined before the oxidation experiments. The fatty acid compositions and the physico-chemical characteristics of the vegetable oils changed by blending the oils with sesame oil and the extent of change varied with the type of oil. Particularly, the iodine value of the vegetable oils decreased significantly by sesame oil blending. The sesame blended oils and the vegetable oils including sesame oil were oxidized at $45^{\circ}C$ for 25 days in a dark place, and at $35^{\circ}C$ for 12 days under the irradiation of incandescent electric lamp (40 W). During the oxidation, some physico-chemical characteristics of the oils were determined to evaluate the oxidative stability. Based on the changes of peroxide values, the oxidative stability of the vegetable oils was improved by sesame oil blending.

열분해유/콜타르 혼합비가 피치계 활성탄의 수율 및 물성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of PFO/Coal-tar Blending Ratio on Yield and Physical Properties of Pitch-based Activated Carbon)

  • 피치계 활성탄의 수율 향상을 위해 열분해유와 콜타르를 혼합하여 피치를 합성하고, 합성된 피치를 물리적 활성화하여 활성탄을 제조하였다. 피치는 콜타르를 열분해유 대비 0~20%로 달리하여, 380~420 ℃에서 3 h 반응하여 합성하였다. 합성된 피치는 80~260 ℃ 사이의 연화점을 가졌고, 10~40% 범위의 수율을 나타냈다. 모든 합성온도에서 콜타르 혼합비율이 증가할수록 수율이 증가하고, 연화점이 감소함을 확인하였다. 합성된 피치 중 연화점이 230~260 ℃ 사이의 피치를 선정하여 물성을 고찰하였다. 열분해유만으로 제조된 피치에 비해 콜타르가 함유된 피치가 저비점에서 휘발분이 많고, 잔탄량이 높았다. 이는 콜타르와 열분해유의 조성에 따른 차이로, 방향족 성분이 많은 콜타르와 지방족 성분이 많은 열분해유의 영향임을 확인하였다. 선정된 피치를 관형 반응기에서 950 ℃까지 승온하고, 1 h 동안 수증기로 물리적 활성화하였다. 콜타르가 포함된 활성탄이 열분해유만으로 제조된 활성탄에 비해 높은 수율과 미세기공율을 나타냈다. 본 연구에서는 피치 원료 혼합에 의한 활성탄 수율 증가 효과를 확인하고, 콜타르 혼합 비율에 따른 물리적 활성화 특성을 고찰하였다.

바이오매스 전처리 기술에 따른 혼소 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (The Biomass Pre-treatment Effect on the Combustion Characteristics of Coal and Biomass Blends)

  • Fuel blend technique is one of the most effective way of using biomass to replace the coal. Many studies on combustion characteristics with coal and biomass blends have been conducted. In this study, char reactivity and emission characteristics of coal (Suek) and biomass (EFB) blends has been investigated by TGA and DTF to evaluate the applicability of the pre-treated (torrefaction, ash removal technology) EFB to pulverized coal boiler. In all blending cases, char reactivity improved as the blending ratio increases (10, 20, and 30%), especially torrefied EFB blended at 30%. Also, unburned carbon decreased as the blending ratio increases in all types of EFB. NOx emission showed the increase and decrease characteristics according to the content of fuel-N of raw EFB and torrefied EFB. But the amount of NOx emission at ashless EFB blends is greater than that of Suek despite of lower fuel-N. It indicated that co-firing effect of using the pretreatment biomass fuel is relatively better than those of the untreated biomass fuel about char reactivity and emission characteristics.

  • The intention of this study is to investigate the properties of polymer blend, NBR/PVC vulcanizates and blending procedures such as roll-mixing temperatures and sequences for polymer blending of NBR and PVC(resin type). The results obtained are as follows: 1. The roll temperature applied for polymer blending is around $150^{\circ}C$. At this temperature region, the degradation of rubber stock, which may be caused by heat, can be minimized and mill processing in practical application in industries can also be facilitated. 2. It is obviously necessary that a small amount of plasticizers should be added to the stock for improving processibility of roll mixing and physical properties. 3. On roll-mixing sequence, it is more effective that PVC compounded with plasticizer is added to NBR milled on hot roll. 4. The vulcanizates of the blends with different degree of polymerization of PVC ale similar to one another in properties. 5. NBR/PVC(70/30) blends shows the better physical characters than eve,-made foreign latex blend except abrasion-resistance. 6. As PVC addition ratio is increased, the physical properties such as resistance to ozone, tear, heat and oil and tensile strength, modulus, hardness have also improved, on the other hand, tension set and rebound character decreased. 7. The curve of ultimate elongation have point of inflection at the ratio of $30\sim40$ part of PVC. 8. While CR is blended, the physical properties such as brittle point, rebound and resistance to oil in high temperature have improved. 9. Polymer blend of NBR and domestic PVC is applied for the industrial utility such as rubber sole and heel, electric wire cover and oil-resistant packing, coating and gasket, printing roll, film for food packing etc.

  • To evaluate the practical application of oyster shells as construction materials, an experimental study was performed. More specifically, the long-term mechanical properties and durability of concrete blended with oyster shells were investigated. Test results indicate that long-term strength of concrete blended with 10% oyster shells is almost identical to that of normal concrete. However, the long-term strength of concrete blended with 20% oyster shells Is appreciably lower than that of normal concrete. 1'hereby, concrete with higher oyster shell has the possibility giving a bad influence on the concrete long-term strength. Elastic modulus of concrete blended with crushed oyster shells decreases as the blending mixture ratio increases. Namely, the modulus is reduced by approximately 10∼15% when oyster shells are blended up to 20% replacing the fine aggregate. The drying shrinkage strain increases as the blending ratio increases. In addition, the existing model code of drying shrinkage does not coincide with the test results of this study. An adequate prediction equation needs to be developed. The utilization of oyster shells as the fine aggregate in concrete has an insignificant effect on freezing and thawing resistance, carbonation and sulfuric acid attack of concrete recycling. However, water permeability is considerably improved.

모 혼방직물의 역학적 특성과 태 및 소재 정보에 따른 남성 정장용 소재의 질감이미지와 선호도 평가 (Evaluation of Texture Image and Preference to Men's Suit Fabrics according to Mechanical Properties, Hand and Fabric Information of Wool Blended Fabrics)

  • In this study, differences of texture image and preference for men's suit fabrics according to mechanical properties, hand and fabric information were investigated. 55 subjects evaluated texture image and preference of 12 kinds of wool blended fabrics. For statistical analysis, t-test and pearson correlation coefficients were used. The results were as follows: Most of mechanical properties effected on texture images, and bending property and shearing property were effected on tactile preference and purchasing preference. For hand, objective hand values showed correlations with subjective texture images and preferences, but THV had almost no correlations. In sensory images according to presence of fabric information, fabrics were evaluated thinner, lighter, more pliable and smooth by cognition of wool blending ratio. For sensibility images, fabrics were evaluated more refined, intellectual, dignified and less practicable after recognize of wool blending ratio. In preferences, tactile preference was increased and purchasing preference was decreased after recognize fabric information. Therefore, significant differences of texture image and preference were observed according to presence of fabric information.
