Biomimicry architecture has been highlighted in recent years for the innovative ideas from the nature have provided main developments in many areas. The related studies in Korean architecture is entering the first step and are needed close attentions for its vitalizations. This study starts with the acknowledgement of necessity to establish the architectural application process. First of all, it is named as a 'Passive Cycle' if a problem-solving or a project has been through the analysis of process complexity and biomimicry application process in other areas. Then, the basic frame is structured as a 'Process-Cooperation,' which integrates process complexation with process circulation. The cooperative relationship starts from the beginning of the design with not only professionalists related with architecture but also ones in various areas when it is issued a difficult problem or high environmental performance not found in common architectural design processes. To make the architectural application good progress, the characteristics of bio-mimetic architectural applications are categorized as three areas; the expected effect, the application level, and application method. As a result, the organic complexity should be prioritized to have bio-mimetic application effectively while accessing the principles. Therefore, the process for the architectural application of biomimicry is suggested as 'Organic Cycle-Cooperation.'

This study explores the organic form generation method, which reflects the evolving biomimetic approaches converging in fashion technology and considers the characteristics of the organic relationship between the body and the clothing to be represented in contemporary fashion. A literature review on biomimetic architecture and design-related theory and a case study on biomimetic fashion were both conducted. Images, articles, and data related to biomimicry fashion and clothing, including the increase in virtual fashion cases around 2020, were analyzed based on the literature review. Biomimicry was used to derive interdisciplinary similarities in the organic morphogenesis principle, and the result was categorized as a network system, folds and unfolds, pneumatic structures, auxetic growth, and membranes. The biomimetic fashion characteristics, including externalization of the body's interior, expansion of the body structure and silhouette, body protection, independence from the body, and post-human expression through virtualization, were analyzed. Morphogenetic processes performed through biomimetic vision are expected to aid in generating research on the possibility of mass production or popularization in the future through various experimental technical studies.

자연모방 건축은 오래 전부터 서구에서 논의되어 왔다. 시대의 흐름에 따라 자연에 대한 인식, 자연모방을 통해 추구하고자 하는 바, 자연모방 건축의 특성 등에 차이가 보이고 있다. 이것은 해당 시대의 다양한 영향을 받은 것으로 유추해 볼 수 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 과거에서부터 현재까지의 자연 모방 건축이 가지는 특성을 살펴보고 당시의 시대적 배경을 통해 이러한 흐름의 변화를 이해하는 것이다. 먼저, 과거부터 현재까지의 자연모방 건축이 지니는 특성을 고찰한다. 고대 그리스, 중세, 르네상스, 근세, 현대에 이르기까지 자연에 대한 인식 및 태도, 자연모방 건축의 계획 특성, 자연모방을 통해서 지향하는 바에 관한 내용을 사례들을 통해 살펴본다. 다음으로 자연모방 건축에 직접적인 영향력이 있었던 역사적 흐름을 자연관, 사회상, 종교, 과학기술 등 각 시대의 배경과 주요 이슈들을 통해서 살펴본다. 마지막으로 자연모방 건축과 역사적 배경의 관계를 논의한다.
