A Study on the Cycle Time Reduction of Cylindrical Plunge Grinding Process with Recursive Constraint Bounding Method (RCB법에 의한 원통형 플런지 연삭공정의 싸이클 시간 감소에 관한 연구)

  • This study presents the recursive constraint bounding(RCB) method to reduce the cycle time in internal cylindrical plunge grinding process. This method can cope with process noise as well as modeling bias. The main features of RCB method are its utilization of measurements at the end of each cycle and its use of monotonicity analysis for determining the extremes of bias and noise. This method is investigated in simulation and evaluated by experiment in internal cylindrical plunge grinding operation. The results from simulation and experiment show that it is effective in reducing cycle time in spite of modeling uncertainty in the forms of process noise and modeling bias.

  • Influence of post gate oxidation anneal on Negative Bias Temperature Instability (NBTI) of PMOSFE has been investigated. At oxidation anneal temperature raised above 950$^{\circ}$C, a significant improvement of NBTI was observed which enables to reduce PMO V$\_$th/ shift occurred during a Bias Temperature (BT) stress. The high temperature anneal appears to suppress charge generations inside the gate oxide and near the silicon oxide interface during the BT stress. By measuring band-to-band tunneling currents and subthreshold slopes, reduction of oxide trapped charges and interface states at the high temperature oxidation anneal was confirmed.

  • In this paper, the effects of negative and positive bias stress on p-channel poly-Si TFT's fabricated by excimer laser annealing have been investigated After positive and negative bias stress, transcon-ductance(g$_{m}$) is increased because of a reduction of the effective channel length due to the injected electron in the gate oxide. In the positive bias stress, the injection of hole is appeared after stress time of 3600sec and g$_{m}$ is decreased. On the other hand, the gate voltage at the maximum g$_{m}$, S-swing and threshold voltage(V$_{th}$) are decreased because of the interface state generation due to the injection of electrons into the gate oxide.e.ide.e.

Fascia Chuna Therapy for Piriformis Syndrome: A Review of Clinical Study (이상근증후군의 근막 추나 요법에 대한 문헌 고찰 연구 보고)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of fascia chuna therapy in the treatment of piriformis syndrome. Methods A literature search was conducted using 8 databases to identify all randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs) that investigated fascia chuna therapy as a treatment for piriformis syndrome. The selected studies are analyzed the risk of bias through Cochrane risk of bias tool. Results Among 37 articles that were searched, 3 RCTs met our inclusion criteria and were included in this analysis. These studies demonstrated positive results of Fascia Chuna Therapy with respect to the reduction of pain scale and functional scale compared with other treatment methods. Conclusions Based on results, fascia chuna therapy could be effective in piriformis syndrome. However there are limitations that the number of selected studies was small and risk of bias was unclear. More well-designed RCTs are required to provide clearer evidence.

Empirical Study on Unit Bias under the Flat Rate Pricing in the Korean Mobile Telecommunication Market (이동통신시장에서의 단위편향 소비행태 발생에 관한 실증연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to empirically identify whether unit bias exists or not under the flat rate pricing in the Korean mobile telecommunication market and to give the desirable form of pricing plans for minimizing this irrational behaviors. Our results show that with the flat rate pricing consumers tends to make more voice or data traffic over their optimal consumption level, meaning the existence of unit bias in the Korean mobile market. These results imply that under the current pricing plans subscribers may pay higher monthly fee than their optimal cost which maximizes their utility, for using the telecommunications service. Thus, policy makers need to consider adopting mobile operators' segmentation of the flat rate pricing plans for the reduction of subscribers' telecommunications costs and the improvement of consumer welfare.

  • An increase in heavy rainfall and floods have been observed over South Korea due to recent abnormal weather. In this perspective, the high-resolution weather forecasts have been widely used to facilitate flood management. However, these models are known to be biased due to initial conditions and topographical conditions in the process of model building. Theretofore, a bias correction scheme is largely applied for the practical use of the prediction to flood management. This study introduces a new mean field bias correction (MFBC) approach for the high-resolution numerical rainfall products, which is based on a Bayesian Kriging model to combine an interpolation technique and MFBC approach for spatial representation of the error. The results showed that the proposed method can reliably estimate the bias correction factor over ungauged area with an improvement in the reduction of errors. Moreover, it can be seen that the bias corrected rainfall forecasts could be used up to 72 hours ahead with a relatively high accuracy.

  • 최근 적외선 열 영상의 유용함이 발표되어감에 따라 이 기술에 대한 이해와 도입폭이 점진적으로 넓혀져 가고 있다. 국내는 물론 세계적으로 많은 제조, 개발 관련 업체들이 생겨나고 있으며, 업체들의 기술이 발전함에 따라 높은 온도 분해능과 해상도는 물론, 시스템 전체의 크기가 휴대가 가능할 정도로 소형화 되어가고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 열 영상 카메라에서 중요한 역할을 하는 적외선 열 감지 센서에서는 주변 온도, 대상 온도, 표면 온도 등의 측정 오차 및 열상 측정 소자의 온도, Bias 불안정 등의 매우 다양한 원인으로 인한 잡음이 발생하기 쉽다. 이러한 다양한 잡음의 감소는 해상도 및 온도 분해능의 향상과 직결되므로, 잡음을 줄이기 위한 많은 연구가 도처에서 행해지고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 노력의 일환으로써 각각의 잡음 원인을 규명하지 않고 최종 열 영상 출력물에서 인접 프레임들의 비교, 혼합 하여 제거하는 3D Noise Reduction 기술을 이용해 노이즈를 감쇠하는 방법에 대해 연구하였다.
