  • Most of Instrumentation and control system in Nuclear Power Plant using analog equipment has a limitations in system designing and operation. So the network based PLC application to Nuclear Power Plant has been studied so far. This paper defines the configuration and method with Prototype which are to be applied to NPCS(NSSS Process Control System) of KNGR (Korea Next Generation Reactor). It is expected that Test result of NPCS Pototype will satisfy the essential requirements in designing KNGR.

아공정 구상흑연주철의 Fading 거동에 미치는 탄소당량의 영향 (Effect of Carbon Equivalent on the Fading Behavior of Hypoeutectic Ductile Cast Iron)

  • The effect of carbon equivalent on the fading behavior of hypoeutectic ductile cast iron was investigated. The carbon content was slightly increased right after graphite spheroidization treatment and remained almost constant with holding at $1,490^{\circ}C$ after 4 minute. The residual magnesium content was decreased slowly with holding. The empirical equation expressing the relationship between this and holding time was proposed ; $C=C_o-P{\times}t$. The proportionality constant, P, was inversely proportional to carbon content.

  • In the design of cut and cover tunnels, the structural analysis has been used for its simplicity. Contrarily to the geotechnical analysis, this technique could not account for the geological and geometric factors. In this study, the dominant factors influencing the behavior of cut and cover tunnel such as interface element, cut slope, distance between cut slope and tunnel lining, berm, coefficient of lateral earth pressure, were investigated and compared by geotechnical numerical analysis. Based on the results, the variations of earth pressure, bending moment, shear stress, axial load, and displacements were evaluated and analyzed for each factor.

  • This paper describes the numerical analysis of effect of geometric variation on the straight-bladed vertical axis wind turbine. Geometry variation is performed with pockets on the blades. The results presented in this numerical analysis show the general flow pattern of near the bladed, and azimuth angle variation on stating torque value. It is shown that the pockets makes torque higher about 80%.

  • Densification behavior of nano-agglomerate powder during pressureless sintering of Fe-Ni nanopowder was investigated in terms of diffusion kinetics and microstructural development. To understand the role of agglomerate boundary for sintering process, densification kinetics of Fe-Ni nano-agglomerate powder with different agglomerate size was investigated. It was found that activation energy for densification was lower in the small-sized agglomerate powder. The increase in the volume fraction of inter-agglomerate boundary acting as high diffusion path might be responsible for the enhanced diffusion process.

  • The present investigation has been performed on full densification behavior and mechanical property of the powder injection molded Fe-8wt%Ni nanoalloy powder. The net shaping process of the nanopowder was conducted by powder injection molding (PIM) process. The key-process for fabricating fully densified net-shaped nanopowder by pressureless sintering is an optimal control of agglomerate size of nanopowder. Enhanced mechanical property of PIMed Fe-Ni nanopowder is explained by grain refinement and microstructural uniformity.
