대단면 스킨팀버의 휨 성질에 관한 연구 (A study on the Bending Property of Structural Size Skin-Timber)

  • 최근 들어 한옥에 대한 수요과 공급이 계속해서 늘고 있다. 이러한 한옥이 가지고 있는 가장 심각한 문제는 과도한 지붕구조의 무게와 이로 인해 늘어날 수밖에 없는 구조부재의 대형화이다. 따라서 겉으로는 대단면 목재 부재이면서 다량의 목질부를 제거하여 무게의 경량화를 이루고 감소하는 강도적 성질은 부재의 하이브리드화를 통해 보충할 수 있는 실대재 대단면 스킨팀버를 제작하였다. 소나무와 낙엽송 두 수종을 사용하여 실대재 스킨팀버를 제작하였다. 두 수종에 대해 정각형 스킨팀버와 원통형 스킨팀버 각각을 제작하여 휨성능을 평가하였다. 가공기계의 정밀도 부족으로 인해 부재에 과도한 손상이 발생하여 의도한 정도의 강도적 성질을 얻지 못하였다. 하지만 가공기계의 정밀도 향상을 도모하고 추가적인 하이브리드 구조체 제작을 첨가한다면 경량의 대단면 구조부재의 생산이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서 실제 제작한 낙엽송과 소나무 실대재 스킨팀버에서는 수종간의 휨성능 차이는 나타나지 않아 적절히 혼용 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 낙엽송의 MOR 기준에서만 정각형과 원통형간에 성능 차이가 인정되어 구분하여 사용해야 할 필요가 있고 나머지에 있어서는 차이가 인정되지 않아 혼용이 가능하다고 판단되었다. 본 연구의 목적이 어느 정도의 강도를 지닌 경량의 대단면 구조재 개발에 있으므로 목질계 우드세라믹이나 경량철골 등을 이용한 하이브리드 구조체를 개발한다면 한옥이나 실내인테리어재료 그리고 기둥-보 공법의 재료 등으로 활용 가능할 것이다.

실험계획법에 의한 $Na_2O-Al_2O_3-SiO_2$계 유리의 조성과 물성관계 (Relation between Composition and Properties of $Na_2O-Al_2O_3-SiO_2$Glasses Determined from Experimental Design)

  • A relation between composition and properties of Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2 glasses was investigated with application of the extreme vertical design. Properties investigated in this study include glass transition temperature density refractive index thermal expansion electrical conductivity bending strength and hardness, Most of the quadratic models fitted on property data were statistically significant. The properties estimated from the fitted equation agreed well with the measured properties. The estimated properties were compared with those reported by other investigators. Additional composition except for those of extreme vertices were needed to yield a slightly better result for the simple system such as a temary system. In addition an optimal composition on each property could be calculated by using optimization technique on result obtained from the fitted quadratic models.

Densification Behavior of Mechanically Alloyed NiAl Powder Compact during Spark-plasma Sintering and its Mechanical Property

  • Mechanically-alloyed NiAl powder was sintered by Spark-Plasma Sintering (SPS) process. Densification and behavior mechanical property were determined from the experimental results and analysis ,such as changes in linear shrinkage, shrinkage rate, microstructure, and phase during sintering process, Victors hardness, and transver.ie-rupture-strength (TRS). Above 97% relative density was obtained after sintering at 115$0^{\circ}C$ for 5 min. Crystallite size determined by the Scherrer method was approximately 50 nm. From the X-ray diffraction analysis it was confirmed that the sintered bodies were composed mainly of NiAl phase together with Ni$_3$Al phase. Measured Vickers hardness and TRS value were 555$\pm$10 $H_v$ and 1393$\pm$75 MPa , respectively.

  • This numerical study demonstrates the porosity conditions and the intensity of the interactions with the aggressive agents. It is established that the density as well as the elastic modulus are correlated to ultrasonic velocity The following investigation assessed the effects of cement grade and porosity on tensile strength, flexural and compressive of Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) as a numerical model in PLAXIS 2d Software. Initially, the existing strength-porosity equations were investigated. Furthermore, comparisons of the proposed equations with the existing models suggested the high accuracy of the proposed equations in predicting, cement grade concrete strength. The outcome obtained showed a ductile failure when un-corroded reinforced concrete demonstrates several bending-induced cracks transfer to the steel reinforcement. Moreover, the outcome also showed a brittle failure when wider but fewer transverse cracks occurred under bending loads. Sustained loading as well as initial pre-cracked condition during the corrosion development have shown to have significant impact on the corrosion behavior of concrete properties. Moreover, greater porosity was generally associated with lower compressive, flexural, and tensile strength. Higher cement grade, on the other hand, resulted in lower reduction in concrete strength. This finding highlighted the critical role of cement strength grade in determining the mechanical properties of concrete.

Epoxy 및 Siloxane Emulsion 처리가 견직물의 방추성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Epoxy and Epoxy-Siloxane Emulsion Treatment on the Anticrease Property of Silk Fabrics)

  • Epoxy compound was synthesized from bisphellol-A with epichlorophydrine. Epoxy compound and siloxane were emulsified conjugative one or another. The water repellency of silk fabrics was also highly improved by the treatment of epoxy-siloxane mixed emulsions containing stannic chloride and zirconium oxychloride. The maximum wrinkle recovery was obtained from the fabrics treated under the condition 2.5%-epoxy-siloxane emulsion at 16$0^{\circ}C$. The breaking elongation, the reflectance, the tensile strength and the bending properties of silk fabrics were not degraded severely by the treatment of epoxy-siloxane emulsion.

  • Recently, the application of Rapid Setting Cement has been gradually increased as an important construction. However, Rapid Setting Cement shows brittle failure. Therefore, in this study, tests are carried out using Rapid Setting Cement containing fiber in order to improve such a poor property. silica-cement ratio are varied. According to experimental results, Fiber reinforced Rapid -Setting Cement showed the high ductility and strain capacity regardless of silica-cement ratio. With 0.5 silica-cement ratio, a bending strength is the highest.

신사복의 접착포에 대한 형태 안정성 평가 (Evaluation of Tailorability of Adhesive Fabrics for Men's Suit)

  • In the variation of physical properties of adhesive fabrics, the objective of this study is to analyze fitness of fusible interlining to four sorts of fabrics for men's suit with various structural parameters. Four fusible interlinings are used for adhering to fabrics for men's suit. Mechanical properties of these 16 adhesive fabrics fused with these interlinings are measured by KES-FB system for analysing appearance and wearing properties of garments and for examining the fitness of fusible interlining to the fabrics for men's suit. The variation of bending property for adhesive fabrics are found to be higher in the order of interlining 1(Cotton30/Rayon70, plain), interlining 2(Polyester30/Rayon70, warp knit), interlining 4(Polyester, shingosen fabrics with drawing textured yarn) and interlining 3(Polyester, double dot coating interlining). The variation of adhesive effect shows the same results with bending property and shows negative relation with extensibility in weft direction per extensibility in warp direction(EM2/EM1). The variation of peel strength of adhesive fabrics, woolen fabrics in the case of face fabrics and interlining 3 in the case of interlining shows the largest value respectively.

  • This study is as a part of the new disposal and recycling plans of heat-resource waste of Daegu dyeing industrial center we tried to examine applicable possibility of crushed thing(waste aggregate) as aggregates for mortar and concrete. To examine applicable possibility of waste aggregate as a lightweight-aggregate for concrete and mortar, we carried this study by mainly property examination of concrete according to replacement ratio of waste aggregate. We carried slump, unit weight, compressive strength and bending strength test according to replacement ratio of waste aggregate. As the result of that, if we use waste aggregate, lightweight of concrete and mortar will be possible. Specially it shows a strength improvement effect of cement hardening according to using this so it is judged that applicable possibility as aggregate for concrete and mortar is very excellent.

  • This paper presents an investigation of the contribution of fibers in energy absorption during impact and the effect of resin types on properties of the high strength polyethylene (Spectra-900 PE) composite. In high strength polyethylene fiber, main impact energy absorbing mechanism was tensile breakage and deformation of fiber. Two types of resin were examined : Unsaturated polyester (UP) and Epoxy. Tensile and 3-point bending test have been performed to investigate the changes of mechanical properties. In tensile and flexural testes, the Spectra Composite prepregged with UP showed higher properties than Spectra Composite prepregged with epoxy.
