  • In the past, what we call "fashion" was monopolized by only a small highly privileged group of individuals. To-day, we know that fashion field has become progressive democratization of taste not only in clothing, but in all expressions of contemporary living, from automobiles to refrigerators. So, we can find out how wonderful it is that our recent fashionable history was changed so fast. Whatever highly characteristic costume may be in the former, the way people dress was the reflection of their contemporary lives as well as their political status, economics, cultures, arts religions, so that a history of fashion is a history of life. Now, that categorical silhouettes make an exclusion across centuries of past history into the world of aesthetics, particularizes following ; symbolic voluminous toga of Roman authority, the religious but gorgeous Byzantine tunic, extravagant vertical bell-skirt of the Renaissance, the romantic Rococo style, the elegant crinoline and the bustle of the Cul de Paris of the nineteenth. It came true that women was intoxicated ostentations and elegances, since they had on ornamently costume which bear some relationship to the more formal Co-stesy, till the beginning of the twentieth. As Jonney Ironside said, "Nowadays, those exessive ornamentations and cumbersome design hardly belong to a civilization run by machines and in a hurry".   • EMI gLite 미들웨어 컴포넌트인 AMGA 서비스는 과학기술 연구자들에 의해 메타데이터 저장소로 분산환경의 대규모 실험 데이터 분석에 넓게 활용되고 있고 그 사용은 메타데이터 카탈로그를 필요로 하는 일반산업에까지 확대되고 있는 추세이다. 하지만, 리눅스와 그리드 사용자 인터페이스 기반의 AMGA는 다른 상용 데이터베이스 시스템과 비교해서 범용성 사용자 인터페이스의 부재라는 단점이 있으며, 기능의 우수함에도 불구하고 활용 및 확산하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는, AMGA 사용의 제약을 최소화하고 사용자 친화적 인터페이스를 제공하기 위해 객체지향적 모델링 언어(UML)를 이용하여 AMGA GUI 툴킷을 개발하였다. 현재 Belle II, WISDOM, MDM 등과 같이 많은 사용자 커뮤니티에서 AMGA는 주요 컴포넌트로 사용되고 있지만 본 개발을 통해 AMGA 신규 사용자의 진입장벽을 낮춰줄 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 보다 많은 커뮤니티로 확대가 기대된다.

평행봉 Belle 기술동작의 운동학적 분석 (A Kinematical Analysis of Belle Motion on Parallel Bars)

  • This study is to define how the difference of athletic change influence on the last regrasp after somersault in Belle movement of parallel bars. For his study, the following conclusion was produced by analysis of athletic change by means of three dimensional visual image in three athlete of nation. 1. As the picture of S1, there are total used time(2.01 sec), S3(2.17 sec) and S2(2.19 sec). In case of a short needed time, it is difficult for them to perform the remaining movement of the vertical elevating flight easily and comfortably, it is judged as performing the small movement with restrict swing. 2 In the change of body center sped by each event, it is calculated as $-89.1^{\circ}$ the narrowest in S1, $-81.96^{\circ}$ the widest and then $86.34^{\circ}$ in S3. In E3 event, average compound speed is 4.07m/s, S2 showed the fastest speed of 4.14m/s whereas S1 the narrowest angle of 3.95m/s. 3. A shoulder joint and coxa are the period of mention in E3. In E4 which was pointed out the longest vertical distance, S2 that is indicated the highest vertical height as the period of detach in parallel bars. showed -3.91m. This is regarded as a preparatory movement for dynamic performance after using effectively elastic movement of shoulder joint and coxa while easily going up with turning back movement. In the 5th phrase, long airborne time and vertical change position is showed as the start while regrasping securely air flight movement from high position. 4. In E5, a long flight time and a long vertical displacement were shown as the regrasp after somersault efficiently in high position with stability from the point of the highest peak of the center of the body. Especially, S2 is marked as a little bit long position, while S1 is reversely indicated as performing somersault and unstable motion in a low position. 5. In E3, at the point of the largest extension of the shoulder joint and hip joint the shoulder joint is largely marked in $182^{\circ}$ and the hip point $182^{\circ}$ in S2. The shoulder joint is marked at the smallest angle in $177^{\circ}$ and the hip point $176^{\circ}$ in S1. And S1 is being judged by its performance of the less self - confident motion with lessening a breath of swing. S2 makes the most use of flexion and extension of the shoulder joint and the hip joint effectively. It was performed greatly with swinging and dropping the rotary movement and the rotary inertia naturally. 6. In E6, as the point of regrasp of the upper arm in parallel bars it is recognized by the that of components of vertical and horizontal velocity stably. During this study, the insufficient thing and the study on the parallel bars at a real game later are more activated than now. If it is really used as the basic materials by means of Belle Picked Study of Super E level after Bell movement, you may perceive the technique movement previously and perform without difficulty. Especially, such technique as crucifix is quite advantageous for oriental people thanks to small body shape condition. In conclusion we will nicely prepare for our suitable environment to gradually lessen trials and errors by analyzing and studying kinematically this movement.

  • 1980년에서 1983년까지 4년동안 한국연안 13개 지역의 93개의 지점으로부터 채집된 한국산 군부류 중 털군부(Suborder Acanthochitonina) 에 대한 분류학적 연구 결과, 2과 3속 8종이 동정되었으며 이를 기재하였다. 그 중 Acanthochitona byungdoni와 Notoplax (Notoplax) kaasi 두 종은 신종으로 기재한다.

  • AMGA는 EMI의 공식적인 메타데이터서비스로 그리드 환경에서 파일의 메타데이터를 저장하고 사용하는데 쓰인다. 이러한 AMGA는 다양한 분야에서 사용이 가능하도록 다양한 데이터베이스, 다양한 인터페이스와 함께 다양한 프로그래밍 언어를 지원하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 AMGA가 다양한 프로그래밍 언어를 지원하기 위하여 제공하는 API를 활용하는 방법을 설명하고 고에너지 실험 데이터인 Belle II 실험 샘플데이터를 기반으로 API의 성능을 비교한다.

  • Several vendors have recently been actively pursuing the development of integral pressurized water reactors (iPWRs) that range in power levels from small to large reactors. Integral reactors have the features of minimum vessel penetrations, passive heat removal after reactor shutdown, and modular construction that allow fast plant integration and a secure fuel cycle. The features of an integral reactor limit the options for placing control and safety system instruments. The development of instrumentation and control (I&C) strategies for a large 1,000 MWe iPWR is described. Reactor system modeling-which includes reactor core dynamics, primary heat exchanger, and the steam flashing drum-is an important part of I&C development and validation, and thereby consolidates the overall implementation for a large iPWR. The results of simulation models, control development, and instrumentation features illustrate the systematic approach that is applicable to integral light water reactors.

A Neuro-Fuzzy Controller for Xenon Spatial Oscillations in Load-Following Operation

  • A neuro-fuzzy control algorithm is applied for xenon spatial oscillations in a pressurized water reactor. The consequent and antecedent parameters of the fuzzy rules are tuned by the gradient descent mettled. The reactor model used for computer simulations is a two-point xenon oscillation model. The reactor core is axially divided into two regions and each region has one input and one output and is coupled with the other region. The interaction between the regions of the reactor core is treated by a decoupling scheme. This proposed control of mettled exhibits very fast responses to a step or a ramp change of target axial offset without any residual flux oscillations.

Dynamics and control of molten-salt breeder reactor

  • Preliminary results of the dynamic analysis of a two-fluid molten-salt breeder reactor (MSBR) system are presented. Based on an earlier work on the preliminary dynamic model of the concept, the model presented here is nonlinear and has been revised to accurately reflect the design exemplified in ORNL-4528. A brief overview of the model followed by results from simulations performed to validate the model is presented. Simulations illustrate stable behavior of the reactor dynamics and temperature feedback effects to reactivity excursions. Stable and smooth changes at various nodal temperatures are also observed. Control strategies for molten-salt reactor operation are discussed, followed by an illustration of the open-loop load-following capability of the molten-salt breeder reactor system. It is observed that the molten-salt breeder reactor system exhibits "self-regulating" behavior, minimizing the need for external controller action for load-following maneuvers.

  • While industry understands the importance of keeping equipment operational and well maintained, the importance of tracking maintenance information in reliability models is often overlooked. Prognostic models can be used to predict the failure times of critical equipment, but more often than not, these models assume that all maintenance actions are the same or do not consider maintenance at all. This study investigates the influence of integrating maintenance information on prognostic model prediction accuracy. By incorporating maintenance information to develop maintenance-dependent prognostic models, prediction accuracy was improved by more than 40% compared with traditional maintenance-independent models. This study acts as a proof of concept, showing the importance of utilizing maintenance information in modern prognostics for industrial equipment.

Leptoplax doederleini (Polyplacophora: Acanthochitonidae) from South Korea

  • Acanthochitonidae Pilsbry, 1893 is one of the chiton families characterized by 9 pairs of sutural tufts on a well-expanded girdle that overgrows plates. It is found in intertidal and subtidal zones worldwide. Of its eight genera, only two have been previously reported in South Korea: Acanthochitona Gray, 1821 and Notoplax H. Adams, 1862. Here we report Leptoplax doederleini (Thiele, 1909) as the first record of the genus Leptoplax in South Korea and describe and compare its morphological features with N. kaasi Hong, Dell'Angelo and Van Belle, 1990. In addition, we provide the partial sequence of the mitochondrial DNA cytochrome c oxidase subunit I gene as a DNA barcode sequence record.
