Evaluating the Characteristics of Subversive Basic Fashion Utilizing Text Mining Techniques (텍스트 마이닝(text mining) 기법을 활용한 서브버시브 베이식(subversive basics) 패션의 특성)

  • Fashion trends are actively disseminated through social media, which influences both their propagation and consumption. This study explored how users perceive subversive basic fashion in social media videos, by examining the associated concepts and characteristics. In addition, the factors contributing to the style's social media dissemination were identified and its distinctive features were analyzed. Through text mining analysis, 80 keywords were selected for semantic network and CONCOR analysis. TF-IDF and N-gram results indicate that subversive basic fashion involves transformative design techniques such as cutting or layering garments, emphasizing the body with thin fabrics, and creating bold visual effects. Topic modeling suggests that this fashion forms a subculture that resists mainstream norms, seeking individuality by creatively transforming the existing garments. CONCOR analysis categorized the style into six groups: forward-thinking unconventional fashion, bold and unique style, creative reworking, item utilization and combination, pursuit of easy and convenient fashion, and contemporary sensibility. Consumer actions, linked to social media, were shown to involve easily transforming and pursuing personalized styles. Furthermore, creating new styles through the existing clothing is seen as an economic and creative activity that fosters network formation and interaction. This study is significant as it addresses language expression limitations and subjectivity issues in fashion image analysis, revealing factors contributing to content reproduction through user-perceived design concepts and social media-conveyed fashion characteristics.

  • This study is explorative survey carried out to examine differences in professional self-concepts and emergency patient care perceptions between emergency medical technician trainees (namely, EMT-basic trainees or trainees) and emergency medical technicians basic (namely, EMT-basic or technicians). The subjects are some trainees and technicians. The trainees included 95 fire fighters who had enrolled educational programs for emergency medical technicians basic at K and A Fire Academy while the technicians were 78 fire fighter gathering from all regions of the country who had enrolled a short expertise program for emergency medical technicians basic at S University in C City.

  • The fundamental concepts on the basis of linear free energy relationship (LFER), history of development, prediction of pharmacological effects, advantages and disadvantages, etc. according to the 2D and 3D QSAR methodologies were summarized in utilizing the quantitative structure-activity relation ship (QSAR) techniques for searching and development of new agrochemicals. Objectives, role of QSAR techniques in development process of pesticides and limitations in QSARs were discussed and introduced.

On Spherical Trigonometry (구면삼각법에 관한 소고)

  • Spherical trigonometry refers to the geometry related to spherical triangles. It has been an important tool for studying astronomy since ancient times. In trigonometry, concepts such as trigonometric functions naturally emerge from the relationship between arcs and chords of a circle. In this paper, we briefly examine the origin of spherical trigonometry. To introduce the basics of spherical trigonometry, we present fundamental and important theorems such as Menelaus's theorem, the law of sines and the law of cosines on a sphere, along with their proofs. Furthermore, we discuss the educational value and potential applications of spherical trigonometry.

  • The purpose of this study is to discuss about the role of the visualization as an effective method of teaching abstracted mathematics, to analyze visual materials in middle and high school mathematics and to suggest various visualized materials for teaching mathematics effectively. Though formal, symbolic and analytical teaching method is a major characteristic of mathematics, the students should be taught to understand through intuition and insight, and formalize the mathematical concepts progressively. Especially the sight is one of the most important basics of cognition for intuition and insight. Therefore, suggesting mathematical contents through the visual method makes the students understand and formalize the mathematical concepts more easily. In this study, we tried to investigate the meaning and role of visualization in mathematics teaching. And, we discussed about the four roles of visualization in the process of mathematics teaching and learning confirmation and memorization of the mathematical truth, proving theorem and solving problems which is one of the most important purposes of teaching mathematics, According to the roles of visualization, we analyzed visual materials currently taught in middle and high school, and suggested various visual materials useful in teaching mathematics. The investigated fields are algebra where visual materials are little used, and geometry where they are use the most. The paper-made-textbook can't show moving animation vigorously. Hence we suggested visual materials made by GSP and applets in IES .

Distortional buckling formulae for cold-formed steel rack-section members

  • The paper derives, validates and illustrates the application of GBT-based formulae to estimate distortional critical lengths and bifurcation stress resultants in cold-formed steel rack-section columns, beams and beam-columns with arbitrarily inclined mid-stiffeners and four support conditions. After a brief review of the Generalised Beam Theory (GBT) basics, the main concepts and procedures employed to obtain the formulae are addressed. Then, the GBT-based estimates are compared with exact results and, when possible, also with values yielded by formulae due to Lau and Hancock, Hancock and Teng et al. A few remarks on novel aspects of the rack-section beam-column distortional buckling behaviour, unveiled by the GBT-based approach, are also included.

  • Artificial intelligence has been applied to many industries, including medicine. Among the various techniques in artificial intelligence, deep learning has attained the highest popularity in medical imaging in recent years. Many articles on deep learning have been published in radiologic journals. However, radiologists may have difficulty in understanding and interpreting these studies because the study methods of deep learning differ from those of traditional radiology. This review article aims to explain the concepts and terms that are frequently used in deep learning radiology articles, facilitating general radiologists' understanding.

  • Basic summary of the medical administration : First of all Ming dynasty was at its last stage of dynastic era that the politics reached absolute autocracy. The influence of centralized power lead to systematical medical administration management system that was generally formed around Tai Yi Yuan(太醫院). Criticizing treatments via shamanism with supernatural powers and advent of strengthening medical concepts were steps toward a new phase. Medical education in regional areas showed drastic development and preventative medicine on epidemics as well as relief work succeeded to a certain amount. Overall Ming(明) dynasty has somewhat of a growth in some areas keeping the basics of Tang(唐) Song(宋) and Yuan(元)'s medical administration, however basically, unique contribution was not shown much. But on the other hand, measures such as common medical system, reserving incompetent doctors, positioning medical officers by the amount of contributions, paying salary with medicine instead of currency brought losses on medical development.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze content of curriculum for Office Administration offered in many Secretarial Science & Office-related department at junior colleges. To analyze the curriculum Office Administration, the study focuses on IAAP's contents of Office Systems and Administration and NVQs' contents of Office Administration. which has been selected as a subject for national vocational qualifications in USA and Britain separately. The result of this study are summarized below: 1. IAAP's contents of Office Systems and Administration is divided into two main categories which are an Office Technology and an Office Administration/communication. 2. Whereas, Britain's NVQs contents of Office Administration is divided into 4 parts, which are Basics Concepts in Administrative Office Management, Managing Human Resources, Managing Administrative Services, and Managing Administrative Systems. 3. To provide indepth knowledge of Office automation in today's office environment, the curriculum of Office Administration should include both the theoretical and practical aspects of office works.

  • This article presents an examination of the major cognitive-semantic theories in linguistics (Langacker, Lakoff, Fillmore, Croft). The CST's foundations are discussed concerning the educational policy changes, which are necessary to improve the linguistic disciplines in the changing context of higher education, as well as the empowerment and development of the industry. It is relevant in the light of the linguistic specialists' quality training and the development of effective methods of language learning. Consideration of the theories content, tools, and methods of language teaching, which are an important component of quality teaching and the formation of a set of knowledge and skills of students of linguistic specialties, remains crucial. This study aims to establish the main theoretical positions and directions of cognitive-semantic theory in linguistics, determine the usefulness of teaching the basics of cognitive linguistics, the feasibility of using methods of cognitive-semantic nature in the learning process. During the research, the methods of linguistic description and observation, analysis, and synthesis were applied. The result of the study is to establish the need to study basic linguistic theories, as well as general theoretical precepts of cognitive linguistics, which remains one of the effective directions in the postmodern mainstream. It also clarifies the place of the main cognitive-semantic theories in the teaching linguistics' practice of the XXI century.
