This paper presents the technology trend of various active safety systems for vehicle. The safety system is applied to various industry fields and is expected to be spread all over the market. So far, good examples of the developed active safety systems are ACC(Adaptive Cruise Control), CMS(Collision Mitigation Systems) and APSS(Active Pedestrian Safety Systems). And, a basic operation principle, system model and detection performance in a UWB radar for vehicle is investigated.

As an emerging technology in Computer graphics areas, SVG(Scalable Vector Graphic) makes it possible to make use of Vector graphics for servicing maps in basic internet browsing environment. SVG based thematic map Internet GIS system implemented by this research is free of special server side GIS mapping system and client side extra technology. It provides high-quality vector map which can interact with the user, template map which can be used for other purpose, glance the future map based on Webservices technologies. Many good characteristics of SVG in mapping at computer screen and reusability of SVG document provide new era of visualzation of geographic information.

In this paper, we described the basic elements(flowability, fillingability, elapsed time, pumpability, no-vibrating effects, and etc.) required for the application and quality control of the super flowing concrete (SFC) in construction site. Also, after investigating characteristics of SFC through various experiments, SFC were placed in the reaction wall of large scale structural laboratory in Deawoo Insititute of Construction Technology. As the result of this project, the developed SFC showed high flowability and self-filingability good enough for the requirement. Furthermore, quality control and assurance of the no-vibrating concrete in actual site was verified by various testing.

In design of the plastic injection mold, most of drawings are composed of basic entities. It is very easy to produce many kinds of drawings by Group Technology. Group Technology is a technique In which part similarities are used to classify parts into part families according to either geometric shape and size or processing requirements. Almost data for the mold are decided during the assembly design. A system which shows a good interfaces between the design stage and producing part exploding Is developed using AutoCAD system and data conversion technique.

Pixel classification is one of basic issues of image processing. The general characteristics of the pixels belonging to various classes are discussed and the radical principles of pixel classification are given. At the same time, a pixel classification scheme based on image information scales is proposed. The proposed method is overcome that computation amount become greater and contents easily get turned. And image directional scales has excellent anti-noise performance. In the result of experiment. good efficiency is showed compare with other methods.

Code excited linear prediction speech coders exhibit good performance at data rates as low as 4800 bps. The major drawback to CELP type coders is their large computational requirements. In this paper, we propose a new codebook search method that preserves the quality of the CELP vocoder with reduced complexity. The basic idea is to restrict the searching range of the random codebook by using a searching technique of the regular pulse excitation. Applying the proposed method to the CELP vocoder, we can get approximately 48% complexity reduction in the codebook search.

The characteristics of the landfill of coal ash and ironwork wastes are investied by performing the basic geotechnical experiments and groundwater quality analyses in the landfills. The results show that the waste materials themselves have good characteristics that can be used as reclamation materials. However, landfills need either some ground improvement or costly foundation and excavation methods to be used as construction sites, because of the careless management during the period of waste disposal.

The cooperative strategy for the teleoperated multi-agent system is presented. And this scheme has been applied to the teleoperated robot soccer system that is newly proposed. For the teleoperated robot soccer system, we made mapping functions to control a 2-wheeled mobile robot using a 2 DoF stickcontroller. The simulation with a real stickcontroller has been evaluated the performance of the proposed mapping function. Then, the basic cooperation strategy has been tested between teleoperated robot and autonomous robot It is shown that the multi-agent system for teleoperation can have a good performance for a job Like a scoring a goal

To study the structure and dynamics of a cosmic-ray-plasma system, hydrodynamic approach is a fairly good approximation. In this approach, there are three basic energy transfer mechanisms: work done by the plasma flow against pressure gradients, cosmic ray streaming instability and stochastic acceleration. The interplay between these mechanisms gives a range of structures. We present some results of different version of the hydrodynamic approach, e.g., flow structure, injection, instability, acceleration with and without shocks.

Silicon-containing ${\pi}$-conjugated compounds, especially silacyclopentadienes (siloles), have emerged as a new class of electroactive materials with good electron transport properties in OLEDs. 9,9'-spiro-9-silabifluorene compound as well as its starting material 2,2'-dibromobiphenyl have been synthesized with higher yields. Spirosilabifluorene is expected to be an efficient host material for the blue-light emitting diodes. 9,9'-spiro-9-silabifluorene, 1,1-dichloro-1-silafluorene, and 1,1-dimethyl-1-silafluorene were characterized by $^1H$-NMR, UV/Vis and photoluminescence spectroscopy.
