공학 기초설계 교과목에서 교수-학습 방법에 따른 수업 결과 분석 (Analysis of Teaching and Learning strategies in Basic Engineering Courses)

  • 본 연구는 공학 기초설계 교과목의 교수-학습 방법에 따른 수업 결과를 분석하고, 시사점을 도출하여 실제 기초 설계 수업에서 실행 가능한 효과적인 교수-학습 방법을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울 소재 A대학교 공과대학 B프로그램 2학년 재학생 총 112명을 대상으로 동일한 교수자가 기초설계 교과목을 프로젝트 중심 수업과 문제 중심 수업으로 운영하여 두개 반의 수업 후 수업결과에 대한 전수조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 문제 중심 수업은 프로젝트 중심 수업에 비해 수업만족도, 교과목 학습성과 달성도, 학업성취도에서 높은 점수를 나타냈으며, 이러한 결과는 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과에 기초하여 실제 기초설계 수업에서 실행 가능한 효과적인 교수-학습 전략을 제안하였다.

공학전공기초실습에 플립러닝 적용사례 (Case Study of Flipped-learning on a Basic Engineering Practice)

  • 플립러닝은 공학적 원리 등 이론적 측면에 대한 개인 학습차가 있더라도 학습자 중심의 실제 문제해결 및 실습 등을 가능하게 하는 틀로서 공학교육의 심화 정도에 따라 효과적인 교수-학습을 가능하게 한다. 유공압기초실습은 공과대학 기계계열 교과과정에서 1학년 학생들이 처음 접하게 되는 실습 교과목으로 공압기기의 작동원리를 이해하고 자동화의 근간이 되는 전기시퀀스를 포함하는 여러 가지 기본회로를 실습을 통하여 익힘을 목적으로 한다. 본 과목은 전공과목의 입문에 해당하고 학생들은 전공에 대한 지식이 전무한 상태이므로 관련 전공지식을 모두 설명해야 하고, 또 실습에 필요한 지식도 설명해야 하므로 기존의 오프라인으로만 이루어지던 수업에서는 학생들이 실습할 시간이 턱없이 부족한 문제점이 있었다. 본 연구에서는 공학 전공 기초실습 교과목인 '유공압기초실습' 교과목의 효과적인 수업을 위해 '코리아텍(KOREATECH:한국기술교육대학교) 플립러닝 기본모형'에 따라 교수설계를 하여 플립러닝 교과목으로 개발하였고, 이를 사용하여 한 학기동안 수업을 실시한 후 수강생의 설문조사와 취득성적 등을 통해 플립러닝 교육의 효과를 분석하였다.

창의적 인재 양성을 위한 IT & 디자인 분야의 융합 교육 연구 (A Study on Convergence Education of IT & Design for Training Creative Talent)

  • In order to solve the complicated problems faced by the spread of diversified information devices and changes in the user environment in recent years, the importance of training creative talent as well as the need for interdisciplinary convergent approach have emerged. As a future technology development project, convergence education with the design sector for training creative talent in the IT field is also urgent. In this study, we recognized the importance and problems of the convergent approach between IT and design sector by examining the convergence theory and cases with a focus on effective creativity development and sought a new direction for convergence education in the future by investigating the awareness on the convergent approach of college students and analyzing the results. This will be able to have significance as a basic study for discovering creative and innovative convergent talent in the IT and design sector in the future and strengthening basic competence.

대학 내 평생교육시설의 실태에 관한 연구 -국립산업대학교를 중심으로- (A Study on the Actual Conditions of Lifelong Education Facilities in University -Focused on National University of Industry-)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual conditions of the use and the plan of lifelong education facilities in national university of industry. This article discuses about the basic characteristics of the plan composition and the education programs of 8 lifelong education facilities in national university of industry. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1) Needed spaces should functionally designed considering that basic and culture lecture, occupation skill and expert education, hobby/amusement/leisure, health/sanitation/sports, tradition culture understanding education among education programs of lifelong education facilities in universities are mainly constituted and occupation skill and expert education among theses are occupied with the most ratio. 2) Expansion of facilities is agent considering the number of students and lectures to be 3.0% from 1.7% of average ratio of continuous dimensions lifelong education facilities of each universities and composition following scale of the lecture room is set by organizing the number of students per lecture to small groups.

이해중심 SW기초교육 프로그램의 컴퓨팅사고 효과성 검증 연구 (A Study on the Verification of Computational Thinking Effectiveness of Understanding-Oriented SW Basic Education Program)

  • 많은 대학교가 4차 산업혁명이라는 시대적 흐름에 따라 컴퓨팅사고로 문제해결력을 지닌 인재양성을 위해 SW교육을 활발히 진행하고 있다. 본 연구는 비전공대상의 컴퓨팅사고 향상을 위한 이해중심의 SW교육과정이 필요하다고 보았으며 이를 실현하는 구체적 개입으로 이해중심의 SW기초교육을 소개하고 그 효과성을 확인하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 백워드설계모형을 적용한 활동중심 컴퓨팅사고 교육과 프로그래밍교육을 하나의 이해중심의 SW기초교육 프로세스로 설계하였다. 이후 15주 수업에 적용하고, 3차례에 걸쳐 검사를 실시하여 비전공자들에 대한 컴퓨팅사고의 정의적인 측면을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 활동중심의 SW기초교육의 컴퓨팅사고효능감과 컴퓨팅사고인식에 있어서 긍정적인 효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구는 특정대학의 일부 학생들을 대상으로 실시하여 연구결과를 일반화하는데 다소 무리가 있으나, 교육 현장에서 백워드설계모형을 적용한 이해중심의 SW기초교육이 컴퓨팅사고를 향상시킬 수 있는 효율적인 방법의 하나로 적용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

공공교육시설 설계프로세스의 디지털 건축 디자인 도입 가능성에 관한 연구 -계획설계 단계에서 BIM의 데이터베이스(DB)이용 중심으로- (A Study on the Possibility of Introduction of Digital Architectural Design by Public Education Facilities of the Design Process - Focus on Use the Database of BIM -)

  • In this study, a digital design process by utilizing the program's database functionality in BIM, public education facilities master plan presented an alternative model to the layout of the design process. First of all, public education facilities master plan design process with digital design process and how to use the database of BIM in the process for review of the possibility of. Secondly, public educational facility planning the placement as needed for the switch to digital design limits, and the basic plan design at various elementary school planning alternatives in a school building and the school site is required to investigate. Thirdly, as a way of using the database features of GDL BIM lnn and teachers on how to create a variable by setting up a number of different alternatives so that you can choose the architect thought to have to organize and visualize the possibility of quick. A quantitative way the basic plan design that repeats some of the measures that can be used for digital design change as a process of continuous research is needed.

레고 마인드스톰 NXT를 활용한 기초설계 교과목에서의 효과적인 공학설계과제 선정방안 연구 (A Study on Selection of Effective Engineering Design Problem based on LEGO Mindstorm NXT for Basic Design Education)

  • This paper deals with the selection method of effective engineering design problem based on LEGO Mindstorm NXT for basic design education. By YouTube case study of various LEGO-based engineering designs for olympic sports, performance criteria have been developed including programming complexity, structural complexity, sensor/actuator complexity and variety of game operation. Programming complexity includes range of programming code length and possible program variety. Structural complexity includes variety of structural elements such as length, shape, weight, and volume to overcome design restrictions. Sensor/actuator complexity includes variety of sensor used and number of possible actuator assemblies. Variety of game operation includes game complexity and required creativity to make LEGO robots. Based on these performance criteria, four representative sports were selected as the candidates for effective engineering design problem. Finally, feasibility and attributes of each candidate were verified by real implementation examples.

Joint distribution of wind speed and direction in the context of field measurement

  • The joint distribution of wind speed and wind direction at a bridge site is vital to the estimation of the basic wind speed, and hence to the wind-induced vibration analysis of long-span bridges. Instead of the conventional way relying on the weather stations, this study proposed an alternate approach to obtain the original records of wind speed and the corresponding directions based on field measurement supported by the Structural Health Monitoring System (SHMS). Specifically, SHMS of Sutong Cable-stayed Bridge (SCB) is utilized to study the basic wind speed with directional information. Four anemometers are installed in the SHMS of SCB: upstream and downstream of the main deck center, top of the north and south tower respectively. Using the recorded wind data from SHMS, the joint distribution of wind speed and direction is investigated based on statistical methods, and then the basic wind speeds in 10-year and 100-year recurrence intervals at these four key positions are calculated. Analytical results verify the reliability of the recorded wind data from SHMS, and indicate that the joint probability model for the extreme wind speed at SCB site fits well with the Weibull model. It is shown that the calculated basic wind speed is reduced by considering the influence of wind direction. Compared to the design basic wind speed in the Specification of China, basic wind speed considering the influence of direction or not is much smaller, indicating a high safety coefficient in the design of SCB. The results obtained in this study can provide not only references for further wind-resistance research of SCB, but also improve the understanding of the safety coefficient for wind-resistance design of other engineering structures in the similar area.
