역V형 철골 가새골조의 비탄성거동 및 내진성능향상 방안에 관한 연구 (Inelastic Behavior and Seismic Retrofit of Inverted V Braced Steel Frames)

  • 본 논문에서는 중심가새골조 가운데 가정 널리 사용되는 역V형 철골 가새골조의 내진거동을 탄소성 후좌굴해석에 의해 고찰하고, 압축가새의 좌굴이 최초로 발생한 층에 소성화가 집중되는 약층화 현상을 완화할 수 있는 효과적 내진보강 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 즉 좌굴이 발생한 층에 집중되는 비탄성변형을 건물전체로 재분재하는 기능을 갖는 인장재(tie bar)를 삽입하여 내진성능을 효과적으로 개선할 수 있음을 입증하였다. 아울러 압축가새의 좌굴발생 순서를 감안하여 보강 인장재를 경제적으로 설계할 수 있는 실용적 설계방안을 제시하였다.

  • In this paper, we studied the optimization of the screen pringting method for crystalline silicon solar cell fabrication. The 156 * 156 mm2 p-type silicon wafers with $200{\mu}m$ thickness and $0.5-3{\Omega}cm$ resistivity were used after texturing, doping, and passivation. Screen printing method is a common way to make the c-Si solar cell with low-cost and high-efficiency. We studied the optimized condition for screen printing with crystalline silicon solar cell as changing the printing direction (finger line or bus bar), finger width, and mesh angle. As a result, the screen printing with finger line direction showed higher finger height and better conversion efficiency, compared with one with bus bar direction. The experiments with various finger widths and mesh angles were also carried out. The characteristics of solar cells was obtained by measuring light current-voltage, optical microscope and electroluminescence.

노동강도 제거 및 양끝정렬 균일화를 위한 양끝절단포장적재시스템 개발 (The package loading equipment development cutting both ends in the process of packaging lumber for improving the working environments)

  • The package loading process of the lumbering industry is an operation that after a pair of workers bind three or six lumbers into one unit and cut both ends of the lumbers, transports the weight cargo of 30-50kg by one meter, pack and load at a height of 1.2 meters. This package loading process causes lots of noise and wood dust when workers carry out the heavy work as the above. Therefore we developed the monolithic both ends cutting package loading equipment in order to prevent from getting musculoskeletal disease. An loading bar working system of this equipment is improved from pneumatic pressure system to oil pressure system, furnished the newly designed flow dividers, and developed the new system that a both end array is loaded identically. Also we developed the safety equipment of loading bar in order to prevent workers mistake and overload from malfunction during the package loading process. The main cause of job evasion on working place could be solved by preventing the musculoskeletal disease and improving the working environments.

콤바인 예취장치의 절단특성에 관한 연구( I ) -절단현상 및 표준형 칼날의 절단특성- (Cutting-Pattern and Cutting Characteristics of the Reciprocating Cutter-bar of Combine Harvester(I) -Cutting Mechanism and Cutting Characteristics of the Standard Type Reciprocating Knife-)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the cutting mechanism of the reciprocating knife of combine harvester. The cutting operation of reciprocating knife was demonstrated through the cutting pattern diagram which was drawn by computer graphics. Various kinds and dimensions of standard-type reciprocating knives were analyzed by the developed program. The results are summarized as follows : (1) For the 50mm standard reciprocating knife, the bunching area and the maximum stalk-deflection were decreased rapidly according to the increase of cutting velocity ratio by 1.0 and decreased very slowly over this ratio. But, the secondary cut was occurred at ratio of 1.0 and increased rapidly over this ratio. (2) The 76mm standard knife showed better cutting mechanism than the 50mm, in two respects : the larger cutting area per one stroke and the lower revolutional speed of crank shaft for the same cutting velocity. (3) In respect to the bunching area and the secondary cutting length, the adequate height of 50mm standard reciprocating knife was 45~50mm. (4) In order to maintain the proper cutting mechanism, the adequate cutting velocity at forward speed of 0.5㎧ to 1.2m/s was from 0.4m/s to 1.2m/s for the standard knife.

Seismic performance and design method of PRC coupling beam-hybrid coupled shear wall system

  • The seismic behavior of PRC coupling beam-hybrid coupled shear wall system is analyzed by using the finite element software ABAQUS. The stress distribution of steel plate, reinforcing bar in coupling beam, reinforcing bar in slab and concrete is investigated. Meanwhile, the plastic hinges developing law of this hybrid coupled shear wall system is also studied. Further, the effect of coupling ratio, section dimensions of coupling beam, aspect ratio of single shear wall, total height of structure and the role of slab on the seismic behavior of the new structural system. A fitting formula of plate characteristic values for PRC coupling beams based on different displacement requirements is proposed through the experimental date regression analysis of PRC coupling beams at home and abroad. The seismic behavior control method for PRC coupling beam-hybrid coupled shear wall system is proposed based on the continuous connection method and through controlling the coupling ratio, the roof displacement, story drift angle of hybrid coupled shear wall system, displacement ductility of coupling beam.

자갈 하중주에서 식생의 공간 분포 및 동태: 방태천의 사례 (Spatial Distribution and Dynamics of Vegetation on a Gravel Bar: Case Study in the Bangtae Stream)

  • 강원도 인제군에 위치한 방태천의 하중주에 성립된 식생과 하상물질을 지도화한 후 양자를 비교하여 식생의 성립 배경을 밝혔다. 전체적인 식피율은 하중주의 내부에서 높고 가장자리에서 낮은 경향이었다. 선단부(상류 방향)와 후미(하류 방향)를 비교하면, 전자보다 후자에서 식피율이 높은 경향이었다. 교목은 유수에 의한 교란의 영향이 적은 하중주의 후미에 제한적으로 분포하였고, 아교목 역시 교란의 영향이 적은 하중주의 중앙 이하에 분포하였다. 관목은 하중주의 종단면에 따른 차이는 적었지만 횡단상으로는 차이를 보여 부수로가 흐르는 하중주의 우측(좌안)보다 주수로가 흐르는 좌측(우안)에 주로 분포하였다. 초본류의 경우는 하중주의 위치에 따른 차이 없이 전체적으로 고르게 분포하였다. 수고분포는 하류부근에서 높이가 높고 상류로 갈수록 낮아지는 경향이었다. 이러한 식생과 하상물질의 분포로 보아 하중주는 상류방향으로 새로 형성되는 것으로 평가되었다. 하중주에서 수집된 식생자료에 기초하여 식분을 서열화한 결과, 식분의 배열은 I축 상의 오른쪽에서 왼쪽으로 이동함에 따라 1년생 초본식생, 다년생초본, 관목 그리고 교목의 순서로 나타나 식생의 발달단계에 따라 분포하는 경향이었다. 식물군락 별 종 순위-우점도 곡선에서 종 풍부도는 소나무 군락, 달뿌리풀군락, 갯버들군락, 물푸레나무군락, 1년생 식물 우점군락 및 귀룽나무군락 순으로 높게 나타났다. 이상의 결과에서 보여지듯이 방태천은 하천의 상류에 해당하여 저질의 입자가 컸다. 따라서 그들은 굴러서 이동하므로 하중주는 주로 상류 방향으로 새로 형성되었다. 하중주의 후미에서 선단부를 향해 교목림지, 관목림지 및 초지의 순서로 배열된 식생의 공간배열이 하중주의 형성과정을 반영하였다. 그러나 하중주는 역동적인 공간으로서 유수에 의한 교란은 물론 부유사에 의한 교란도 빈번하게 받고 있다. 그러한 교란이 서식처 다양성을 이끌어내고, 궁극적으로 높은 생물다양성을 가져왔다.

양태, Platycephalus indicus의 정자의 냉동보존 (Practical Procedure of Sperm Cryopreservation of the Bar-tailed Flathead Platycephalus indicus)

  • 양태, Platycephalus indicus 정자의 동결보존을 위해 적정 동해방지제와 동결높이에 따른 예비동결(0, 2, 4, 6cm), 그리고 해동온도에 따른 정자의 운동성과 생존율로 비교하였다. 적정 동해방지제로 dimethylsulphoxide(DMSO), glycerol, methanol에 대해 실험하였으며, DMSO와 glycerol에서 methanol에 비하여 높은 생존율과 운동성을 나타내었다. 또한, 동결보존에 있어 예비동결은 액체질소표면으로부터 2 cm 높이에서 높은 생존율과 운동성을 보였고, 해동온도로는 $20^{\circ}C$가 가장 적합하였다.

국내 우수선수들의 철봉 Kolman 기술 동작 분석 (Motion Analysis of Kolman Technique by Korean Top Gymnasts on Horizontal Bar)

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to analyze the pattern of Kolman technique by five Korean top gymnasts including the three national athletes on horizontal bar. Method: Two digital high-speed camcorders were used with 90 frames/sec and their Kolman motions were filmed in sports science secondary school gymnasium at U city. After the kinematic and kinetic variables were carried out by Kwon3D 3.1 motion package during the whole phase, the optimized release motion was investigated by simulating the body COG path during the aerial phase. Results: Firstly, it was revealed that the average changes of hip, shoulder joint angle were 84 deg, 53 deg respectively during the functional sub-phase and the average swing phaseal time was 1.21 s. Secondly, it was revealed that the average body COG positions and velocities (Y, Z) at release were -0.65 m, 0.48 m, 1.65 m/s, 3.97 m/s respectively and the average release angle, peak height and flight time were 67 deg, 1.29 m, 0.79 s respectively. Thirdly, it was revealed that the directions of somersault of whole and lower body, tilt of lower body were counterclockwise, whereas the directions of tilt of whole body, twist of whole and lower body were clockwise at the ready for re-grasp. Lastly, it was revealed that the body COG paths were different from each other during the aerial phase followed by the different body COG velocities. Conclusion: Korean gymnasts of this study controlled their motions well in terms of the timing of hip·shoulder joint, body position, body angular momentum especially during the functional sub-phase, but their motions were different during the aerial phase. Nonetheless most of them made the adequate body position at the instant of re-grasp. It would be suggested that Korean gymnasts except S3 should increase the vertical velocity.

울산 사연호 상류의 퇴적지형 발달 (Development of Depositional Landforms in Upstream Reach of Ulsan Sayeon Dam Lake)

  • 본 연구는 1964년 사연댐 건설 이후에 사연호 상류부에 형성된 퇴적지형의 형성과정과 퇴적환경을 고찰하였다. 이를 위하여 퇴적지형의 형태적 특성과 퇴적물의 입경분포를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 퇴적지형은 수면하 퇴적지 A B와 하중 퇴적지인 C D, 그리고 지류 연안 퇴적지 E로 구분된다. 둘째, 퇴적지형은 유로를 따라 길게 나타나며, 상류에서 높고 하류로 갈수록 낮아진다. 또한 퇴적지형은 유로에서 멀어질수록 고도가 증가하나, A에서는 유로와 가까운 부분이 먼 곳보다 높아 수면 아래의 자연제방으로 이해된다. 셋째, A와 B의 경우에는 유로에서 멀어지면서 세립화 하는 경향이 나타난다. 운반양식의 경우에도 유로에서 멀어질수록 부유하중의 비율이 높아진다. 넷째, 퇴적물의 분급은 수시로 변하는 수위의 영향을 받아 불량 내지 매우 불량하다. 다섯째, A와 B는 수면 아래에서 유로를 따라 운반되는 퇴적물이 유로에서 멀리 확산되어 수직퇴적으로 형성된 것이다. C와 D는 수위가 하강할 때 하상하중의 형태로 운반된 퇴적물이 쌓인 것이다. 그리고 E는 수위 상승 시 지류에 정체수역이 형성됨으로써 수직퇴적된 것이다.

Study on a Suspension of a Planetary Exploration Rover to Improve Driving Performance During Overcoming Obstacles

  • The planetary exploration rover executes various missions after moving to the target point in an unknown environment in the shortest distance. Such missions include the researches for geological and climatic conditions as well as the existence of water or living creatures. If there is any obstacle on the way, it is detected by such sensors as ultrasonic sensor, infrared light sensor, stereo vision, and laser ranger finder. After the obtained data is transferred to the main controller of the rover, decisions can be made to either overcome or avoid the obstacle on the way based on the operating algorithm of the rover. All the planetary exploration rovers which have been developed until now receive the information of the height or width of the obstacle from such sensors before analyzing it in order to find out whether it is possible to overcome the obstacle or not. If it is decided to be better to overcome the obstacle in terms of the operating safety and the electric consumption of the rover, it is generally made to overcome it. Therefore, for the purpose of carrying out the planetary exploration task, it is necessary to design the proper suspension system of the rover which enables it to safely overcome any obstacle on the way on the surface in any unknown environment. This study focuses on the design of the new double 4-bar linkage type of suspension system applied to the Korea Aerospace Research Institute rover (a tentatively name) that is currently in the process of development by our institute in order to develop the planetary exploration rover which absolutely requires the capacity of overcoming any obstacle. Throughout this study, the negative moment which harms the capacity of the rover for overcoming an obstacle was induced through the dynamical modeling process for the rocker-bogie applied to the Mars exploration rover of the US and the improved version of rocker-bogie as well as the suggested double 4-bar linkage type of suspension system. Also, based on the height of the obstacle, a simulation was carried out for the negative moment of the suspension system before the excellence of the suspension system suggested through the comparison of responding characteristics was proved.
