  • 구강내장치를 통한 자세조절훈련과 관련해 턱관절의 다차원적인 균형치료를 적용함에 따라 중쇠뼈 치돌기 및 가시돌기의 위치균형과 경추정렬이 변화되는 것이 방사선촬영상 실증적으로 관찰되었다.

  • It was observed that the effectiveness of Yin-yang balancing therapy of the tempromandibular joint (YBT) or functional cerebrospinal therapy (FCS) in three cases: an acute and a chronic motor tic disorder and a Tourrette's disorder (TD). These three cases were mainly managed with cervical balancing appliance for the Yin-yang Balancing on tempromandibular joint (TMJ) and pelvic balance therapy. They were treated concurrently with acupuncture, cupping and herb-medicine. Clinical outcome measurement was based on subjective measures with visual analogue scale (VAS), Yale Global Tic Severity Scale (YGTTS) and clinical observations for 235, 279 and 273 days respectively. The patient showed positive changes after the treatment and this effect maintained over the follow-up period. Although it is not clear whether the effect is sustained afterwards or not, a positive effect on the motor tic disorders and TD was observed. And so, furthermore strict clinical and structural researches for verification on YBT is expected.

구강 내 장치를 이용한 한의 임상연구 고찰 (Review of Clinical Studies Using Oral Appliance in Korean Medicine)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this review is to analyse the trends of clinical studies using oral appliance in Korean Medicine. Methods: We reviewed Korean Medicine papers by searching Korean web databases 'Korea Traditional Knowledge Portal (KTKP)', 'Korea Medical Information Portal (OASIS)', 'Academic Research Information Service (RISS)', 'Scientific and Technological Information Integration Service (NDSL)'. We classified the papers by the year of publishment, the title of journals, the type of study and contents. Results: 1. Clinical studies using oral appliance have been increasingly published since 2011. 2. Most of the studies were published in the Journal of TMJ Balancing Medicine. 3. 33 research papers were divided in to 6 original articles, 27 case reports. But almost presented a low level of evidence. 4. In the content of the studies, oral appliance were used for various diseases such as nervous system, musculoskeletal system and visceral system. Conclusions: We expect that various studies and clinical application will be actively carried out with the development of technology related to oral appliance.

  • 본 증례에서는 척추측만증과 척추후만증과 이에 동반한 증상에 대해 음양균형장치와 한약 처방을 통해 증상이 호전되는 결과를 관찰하였다. 음양균형장치를 통해 턱관절을 조절하는 기능적뇌척주요법의 치료가 척추의 구조적 불균형을 개선시킴을 관찰하였다.

  • 본 증례에서는 원인 불명의 만성 재발성 악관절 탈구 및 개구 장애에 대해 CBA, TBA를 비롯한 FCST의 구조적 치료를 통해서도 유의한 치료변화가 나타남을 관찰하였다.

  • 본 증례에서는 발병한지 1개월 된 환상미각증 환자에게 FCST의 CBA를 이용한 상부 경추 교정 치료를 시행하여 환상미각 증상이 완전 소실되는 변화를 관찰하였다. 다른 치료를 병행 하지 않고 CBA를 이용한 상부 경추 교정 치료만으로 효과를 본 것에 임상적 의의가 있다. 뇌신경계의 안정을 목표로 비침습적인 구강내 장치를 이용하여 미각이상 증상의 개선을 관찰하였고, 추후 미각장애에 대하여 FCST 치료의 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • A dizziness case with functional cerebro-spinal therapy (FCST) was reviewed to explore the effect of FCST. The case was managed with Yinyang Balancing Appliance (YBA) and the TMJ Balancing Appliance (TBA), combined with acupuncture, cupping and herbal medicine. Clinical outcome measurement was performed based on subjective measures and clinical observation. The patient showed positive changes starting after the first treatment. Futher clinical and biological research on FCST is expected.

  • 본 증례에서는 MRI상 극심한 요추 척추관 협착증 소견을 받고 요통과 하지 방사통으로 일상생활이 어려워 수술적 치료를 예정 받은 환자에게서 음양균형장치를 포함한 PBT, 침치료 등 구조적 치료를 통해서도 유의한 치료변화가 나타남을 관찰하였고 자각적 통증 및 보행 시간의 호전이 있어 이를 보고하는 바이다.
