Antiobesity Effect of Baek-Kimchi (Whitish Baechu Kimchl) in Rats Fed High Fat Diet

  • Baek-kimchi (whitish baechu kimchi) was evaluated for anti-obesity properties and effects on triglyceride (TG) and cholesterol in blood and adipose tissues in rats fed a high fat (20 %) diet, and compared to the similar effects of baechu kimchi. Baek-kimchi does not use red pepper powder but contains higher levels of sliced radish and pear than baechu kimchi. SD rats were raised for four weeks on either a normal diet (ND, based on the AIN-93M diet), high fat diet (HFD, supplemented with 16% lard oil in the ND), or HFD containing 5 % baek-kimchi or 5 % baechu kimchi. Feed consumption was not different among the groups, but weight gains were significantly lower in the groups fed either the normal diet or HFD with baek-kimchi or baechu kimchi diets than the group fed HFD alone. The weights of liver and epididymal and perirenal fat pads in baek-kimchi and baechu kimchi diet groups were lower than those of the HFD groups, but the baek-kimchi diet group had lower epididymal and perirenal fat pad weights than the baechu kimchi diet group (p<0.05). The baechu kimchi dietary group also had significantly lower triglyceride and cholesterol contents in liver and epididymal and perirenal fat, reversing the higher levels seen in HFD. Baek-kimchi and baechu kimchi diets were also effective in lowering serum triglyceride and cholesterol levels (p<0.05). These results suggest that baek-kimchi and baechu kimchi consumption can reverse the effects of HFD on weight gain and blood and tissue lipids, and that baek-kimchi is more effective than baechu kimchi. The greater effect is probably due to the higher content of radish and pear used in baek-kimchi.

  • There is not enough excavation examples and bibliographies to study the garden of Baek Je as the ancient landscape architecture style This study was to seek the ancient Japanese gardens which had a great concern with Baek Je in order to surmount the limitation in the study on Baek Je's Gardens . As the result, there were founded the three ponds and one garden facility in ancient Japanese gardens focused on Aska region. The traces of the landscape architecture of Baek Je style were founded in the pond form and rubble masonry and such like. This study was the first trial to the study on the garden of Baek Je style in Japan And excavation examples which had a concern with Baek Je will be more in Japan. So more study is needed.

Analysis of the Impact of Changesin Local Currency Policy on Consumption Activation: Focusing on the case of 'Dong Baek Jeon'in Busan (지역화폐 정책 변화가 소비 활성화에 미치는 영향 분석: 부산시 '동백전' 사례를 중심으로)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of policy changes in Busan's local currency, Dong Baek Jeon, on the use of Dong Baek Jeon. In particular, this study tried to investigate consumption changes due to changes in local currency policy depending on the region, industry, and consumer characteristics. Design/methodology/approach This study used the transaction data of Dong Baek Jeon franchise for analysis. Specifically, the data from January 2022 to December 2022 were used to analyze the current status of the use of Dong Baek Jeon and changes in consumption before and after policy changes. Findings As a result of the analysis, the consumption of Dong Baek Jeon tended to be concentrated in specific regions, industries, and ages. In most regions and ages, the top consumption industries were similar. The use of Dong Baek Jeon showed a clear change in the pattern of use depending on policy changes. Specifically, when the benefits were revised downward, the use of Dong Baek Jeon decreased, and when it was revised upward, it increased. Depending on the policy change, the rate of increase and decrease by region and consumer characteristics was relatively similar, but it was confirmed that there was a difference in the rate of increase and decrease depending on the industry.

  • In Vivo and In vitro antispasmodic effects of Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San, a Traditional Korean Polyherbal Medicineconsisted of 7 types of herbs were observed in the present study. To clarify the effects of Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San, on accelerating small intestinal movement induced by the stimulation of cholinergic neurotransmission, we evaluated the effects of Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San on In vivo carbachol (an acetylcholinergic agent)-accelerated mice small intestinal transit and on In vitro contractions induced by low-frequency electrostimulation, KCl, histamine or acetylcholine using isolated guinea pig ileum. To induce the acceleration of mice small intestinal transit, Carbachol 1 mg/kg was once subcutaneously dosed 15min before last administration of the test drugs. In the present study, Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San 500, 250 and 125 mg/kg or domperidone 20 mg/kg were orally pretreated on the carbachol-accelerated mice small intestinal transit once a day for 7 days and the small intestinal transit rateof activated charcoal powder were monitored. In vitro assays, Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San1, 0.1, 0.01 and 0.001 mg/ml or domperidone $2{\times}10^{-5}M$ were treated 10min before ileal contraction was induced by filed stimulation, acetylcholine, KCl and histamine, and the % changes of contractions were observed compared to the treatment of inducer alone. In spontaneous contraction, the % changes of contractions were observed compared to treatment of vehicle alone at 10min after Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San or domperidone treatment. The efficacy of Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San was compared to those of domperidone. High concentration, 1 mg/ml of Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San was found to decrease the spontaneous contraction of the isolated guinea-pig ileum. In addition, Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San decrease contractions induced by electrostimulation, acetylcholine, histamine and KCl in the isolated guinea-pig ileum. In addition, Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San effectively inhibited the accelerated small intestinal movement induced by carbachol stimulation of cholinergic neurotransmission in In vivo. Based on the results, although the exact molecular or action mechanism and which herbs or compound in Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San are responsible for actions, it was concluded that Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San normalization in the accelerated intestinal motility might be interfere with a variety of muscarinic, adrenergic and histaminic receptor activities or with the mobilization of calcium ions required for smooth muscle contraction non-specificly. Therefore, it is expected that Jun-Si-Baek-Chul-San will be promising as a prescription of clinical treatment of digestive tract disorders such as accelerated the motility of intestine, diarrhea or intestinal painful contractions.

A Longing for Attachment and Revelation of Separation Anxiety (애착의 갈망과 분리불안의 발현 - <하진양문록> 진세백의 경우 -)

  • This writing establishes identity of JinSeBaek, a male protagonist from a classical novel Hajinyangmunrok, through examining his relationship with a female character named HaOkJu. The character JinSeBaek was analyzed with attachment theory. JinSeBaek is a type of character who openly expresses his emotions. The evidence that JinSaeBaek falls in love with HaOkJu at a first sight was mainly shown through his physical affection with her. After the breakup, JinSeBaek expresses sadness, depression, and anger, as well as sheds tears. Although JinSeBaek repeatedly breaks up and gets back together with HaOkJu, JinSaeBaek consistently shows his desire to be with HaOkJu. Expressing true emotions was not ideal characteristic for men in this era. JinSaeBaek develops attachment to HaOkJu after he loses his parents, whom he has previously developed attachment to, but repeated break ups with HaOkJu leads to separation anxiety. Although his separation anxiety is caused by HaOkJu, it is also HaOkJu who can resolve the anxiety. The fact that JinSaeBaek honestly expresses his emotions and develops abnormal attachment to woman makes JinSaeBaek unique from other male protagonists. A character like JinSaeBaek is not common in other fictional novels or romance novels as well. Thus, JinSaebaek is claimed to be extraordinary character in literature.

Exploring the Humanistic Practice of Je Baek-seok (齊白石(제백석)의 인학(印學)적 실천 탐색)

  • Je Baek-seok, who is well versed in poetry, calligraphy, painting, and sculpture, has established himself as the most outstanding painter and pavilion in the history of modern and contemporary Chinese art. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the art of the pavilion was developed greatly during the enlightenment period, with the emergence of many masters of the pavilion, including Jeonggyeong, Hwanghwangseokyeo, Oyangji, Jo Ji-gyeom, Hwang Mok-bo, and Oh Chang-seok. Je Baek-seok formed an original ritual under this social background. Je Baek-seok's tactics were formed by imitating works from the Hanwi period, and he harmonized Jin Kwon, Sopan, and Janggunin while using the penmanship of the Cheonbal Shinchambi based on the "Sasam Gongsanbi." In addition, by boldly using the Danipdo method, it is possible to use the human face as much as possible while fully exhibiting the artistry of calligraphy and adding to the atmosphere of gold stone. This paper mainly analyzed and reviewed the process of Je Baek-seok's transcription transformation and humanities practice from two aspects. First, it is planned to summarize the process of Je Baek-seok's transformation into a Jeonseo. Second, Je Baek-seok's humanities practice was analyzed. This paper will further understand Je Baek-seok's humanistic ideas and practical search by clarifying the originality of Je Baek-seok's engraving art with examples of Je Baek-seok's works, and it is believed that this will provide future scholars with learning paths and rich experiences.

  • 본 논문에서는 딥웹 환경에서 사이버 범죄 활동에 대한 정보를 중심으로 분석한다. 분석된 정보는 사이버 수사기관에 범죄 분석을 위한 보조정보로 활용될 수 있도록 지원하는 것과 청소년들의 사이버 범죄에 대한 위중성 및 범법성을 인지시키기 위한 교육을 목적으로 활용될 수 있도록 연구되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 크롤링, 파싱, 시각화 3가지 과정을 기반으로 딥웹 환경에서 활동하고 있는 정보를 키워드를 중심으로 수집하고 분석하는 솔루션 환경을 구현하였다. 분석된 정보는 사이버에서 일어나는 많은 범죄활동 가운데 가장 일어나기 쉬운 범죄 유형과 주의 깊게 수사가 이루어져야 할 범죄들을 정리하며, 수사의 방향성을 캐치 할 수 있도록 지원하는 기능을 포함한다.

  • 흔히, 웹 플랫폼에서 검색했을 때, 게시글 마지막부분에 광고인지 여부를 판단 할 수 있는 관련 글들이 나타난다. 이 글들은 사용자의 판단력을 흐리게 할 수 있다고 판단되며 개선의 필요성이 제기된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 사용자들에게 웹 게시글에서 나타나는 광고성 여부에 대해 신속한 판단이 가능하도록 하는 환경에 대한 연구를 하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 게시글에 포함된 광고 관련 문구를 찾아 페이지 상단에 해당 정보를 제공하는 프로그램을 제작 게시함으로써, 광고여부를 판단할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • 이 논문에서는 다매체를 사용하여 데이터를 수집한 후 기계학습을 통해 분석하고 주어진 상황에 대응하기 위한 시스템의 개발을 기술한다. 개발 시스템은 센서데이터 수집부, 상황인지 및 상황대응부로 이루어지며, 아두이노와 라즈베리파이를 사용하여 구성한다. 구성된 시스템은 영상 카메라 및 온습도을 포함한 다수의 센서를 사용하여 환경정보를 수집한 후 수집자료를 전처리하고 주어진 상황을 인지하여 상황에 가장 적절하다고 판단되는 대응을 안내하도록 기능을 구성하였다. 상황인지를 위해서는 기계학습 알고리즘으로 의사결정트리를 사용하였으며 100%의 상황인지 정확률을 갖는다.
