Background : Strategic planning is an organizationwide or systemwide, ongoing look into the future usually of 2~3 years, based on objective analysis of the current environment and trends, but it can incorporate both short-term and long-term goals. The strategic planning process includes external analysis, internal analysis, issue analysis, development of mission, vision and values, and lastly development of organizational goals and objectives. As a part of the strategic quality planning process, certain service lines, important organizationwide functions, or key processes supporting these functions can be prioritized to expedite and roll out certain strategic goals. This is called strategic quality initiatives. Methods : We organized a quality improvement team, a subgroup of 21st century vision planning corps of our medical center, and pursued QI activities for improvement of healthcare environment, particularly in the admission setting. We developed a strategic quality initiative based on the results of patient satisfaction surveys, and carried out functions of self-directed work team. Results : The strategic goal was to be the benchmark for peer group hospitals in Korea for providing cost-effective best-practice. The QI team included 3 medical doctors, 1 nurse, 1 social worker, and 1 QI consultant as well as many operational members to support services and quality initiatives met every Tuesday for 18 weeks. Outcome objectives were to improve patient satisfaction score. The issues included in the objectives were comfort, temperature, noise, cleanliness of the admission wards, quality and education of patient meals, matters regarding the admission process, and an appurtenant facility such as restaurant or convenience store. Every issue was discussed and recommendations, conclusions and opportunities were implemented. Conclusions : By developing a strategic quality initiative as a part of the strategic quality planning process, and pursuing a self-directed work team, certain sen/ice lines, important organizationwide functions, or key processes supporting these functions can be improved effectively within a short period. Strategic quality initiatives serve to support, or roll out, certain strategic goals that are relevant to performance improvement and development of specific measurable outcome objectives, and associated performance measure for each initiative. Each strategic quality initiative should include a statement of intent outcome objectives, and performance measures. We will come back with follow up of the strategic quality initiative, for improvement of healthcare environment, and results of patient satisfaction re-survey.

This study provides information for the design of pediatric inpatient uniforms with functionality and aesthetic beauty through a questionnaire-survey of the conditions of providing, wearing, preferences and improvement requirements for pediatric inpatient uniforms. As a result of the survey, intravenous injections were mostly given on the back of the hand, and the method of changing uniforms after intravenous injections was (in most cases) to pass the injection bottle through a sleeve or pant leg while the needle is inserted. The respondents answered that the sleeve length and pant length did not match. As a result of the preference of the pediatric inpatient design survey, respondents indicated they preferred pajama type, yellow color and medium size animal patterns. A similar ratio of set-in and raglan with no collar but with 3/4 length sleeve of round neck, front end, sleeve top opening, button closing and two pockets were preferred for shirts; however, a 3/4 length with rubber string on the waist, no opening and inner opening were preferred at the same ratio for pants. As for the method to adjust the length to assign functionality to pediatric inpatient uniforms, the most preferred sleeve was a roll-up sleeve with a strap and the most preferred pants were length adjusted pants that used a strap for both shirts and pants with a both sides strap. In addition, the majority of the respondents answered that a hand wrapper that protects the injection location during intravenous injections needs be developed. As for the development type, a half glove type and glove type were preferred in sequential order.

콘크리트 라이닝, 방수막, 숏크리트 및 공동 등으로 구성된 터널 지보구조는 탄성파 반사법 응용면에서 일종의 박층구조로 간주될 수 있다. 그런데, 각 구성 매질의 경계면 및 물성은 무엇보다 터널 안정성평가를 위한 주요 정보가 되기 때문에 이에 대한 정밀 조사기법의 개발이 크게 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 최근, 국내 외에서 시도된 바 있는 GPR이나 Impact-Echo는 우선 박층에 대한 발생원 파형 길이(파장)면에서도 타당성을 잃게 되어 내부구조 분해능에 대한 상당한 불확실성을 나타내고 있다. 더구나, 현장응용에서 얻게되는 탄성파기록에는 여러 가지 불필요한 탄성파 도달 즉, 큰 진폭의 표면파, S파 반사파 및 변환파는 서로 중첩되어 지배적으로 발달될 것이 기대되기 때문에 이에 대처한 효율적인 측정 및 분석기법 개발이 불가피하다. 탄성파 모형 실험은 바로 상기 복합적인 문제를 구체화하고 또한 그에 따른 기술 개발을 촉진할 수 있는 유용한 기능을 갖고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에는 터널 지보구조에 대등한 모형을 대상으로 탄성파 반사법 본연의 측정기법(roll-along법) 및 전산처리 과정에 의해 데이터를 취득하고 또한 전산처리 함으로써 주어진 내부구조를 어느 정도까지 재현할 수 있는가를 보여주고 있다. 비록, 측정 데이터에는 유용한 반사파보다는 이미 예상한 바 상기 불필요한 탄성파의 도달이 지배적으로 발달되고 있음이 관찰되었으나 적절한 측정 및 전산처리 과정은 주어진 내부구조에 대한 바람직한 결과를 초래하였다. 이러한 연구결실은 우선 선진국에서도 난제로 되어온 터널 지보구조 규명을 위한 하나의 계기를 마련함은 물론 나아가서 그의 현실화를 위한 기술개발을 가속화할 것으로 사료된다.

머신러닝의 한 종류인 딥러닝은 각 학습 과정을 진행할 때, 가중치를 변경하면서 학습을 수행한다. 딥러닝을 수행할때 대표적으로 사용되는 Tensor Flow나 Keras의 경우 학습이 종료된 결과를 그래프 형태로 제공한다. 이에 과다학습으로 인한 퇴화 현상 또는 가중치의 잘못된 설정으로 인해 학습 결과에 오류가 발생하는 경우, 해당 학습 결과를 폐기해야한다. 이에 기존 기술은 학습 결과를 롤백하는 기능을 제공하고 있지만, 롤백 기능은 최대 5회 이내의 결과로 제한된다. 또한, 딥러닝의 모든 과정을 기록하고 있는 것이 아니기 때문에 값을 추적하기 어렵다. 이를 해결하기 위해 MLOps의 개념을 적용한 기술이 존재하지만. 해당 기술에서는 이전 시점으로 롤백하는 기능을 제공하지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 기존 기술의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 학습 과정의 중간 값을 블록체인으로 관리하여 학습 중간 과정을 기록하고, 오류가 발생할 경우 롤백할 수 있는 시스템을 구성한다. 블록체인의 기능 수행을 위해서 딥러닝 과정 및 학습 결과 롤백은 Smart Contract를 작성하여 동작하도록 설계하였다. 성능평가는 기존의 딥러닝 방식의 롤백 기능을 평가하였을 때, 제안방식은 100%의 복구율을 가지는 것에 비교하여 기존 기법에서는 6회 이후에 복구율이 감소되어 50회일 때 10%까지 감소하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 이더리움 블록체인의 Smart Contract를 사용할 때, 블록 1회 생성 시 157만원의 금액이 지속적으로 소모되는 것을 확인하였다.

본 연구는 수학 영재에게서 나타나는 특성을 알아보기 위한 목적으로 초등학교 6학년에 재학 중이며 영재교육원에 다니고 있는 2명의 수학 영재를 약 4개월에 걸쳐 관찰 및 면접한 결과를 분석한 사례연구이다. 본 연구에서는 수학 영재의 특성을 입학하기 전, 일반 수업 시간, 방과 후로 나누어 그들이 보여준 주된 특성을 기술하고 있다. 본 논문을 통해 수학 영재가 그들의 자질을 잘 발휘하도록 하기 위해서 영재교육원, 일반 학급, 가정에서 어떻게 지도해야 할지에 대한 시사점을 주게 된다.
