There are emerging issues to update the educational environment for schools in terms of information and communication technology in order to provide customized programs to students as well as all participants relating to learning and teaching. The past year has been turbulent as the education facilities has changed and new procurement processes such as BTL have emerged. In this study, the feasibility analysis of ICT for the public educational environment is to analyse the current primary schools by means of collecting parent's opinion. In the web-site questionnaires, it was designed with 70 items such as teaching method, class organization, aptitude drill and educational community. As results, the statistical analysis is to propose the list of priority and orientation covering social agenda in the issue of ICT for education, the benefits schools can achieve by smart environment is to have the advanced learning services and solutions that represents parental engagement with identical local aims of interactive interface between their students and qualified teachers at a school. Both the national curriculum as well as the after-school program initiatives from the ministry of education, science and technology may reduce negative effects of private education so that the program has to be carefully developed for balanced education society revitalizing mutual communication within regional learning participants such as students, teachers and educational experts.
The purpose of this study was to identify the combinations of factors combinations conferring the highest utility of family restaurants to university students, and establish the relative importance of these factors in terms of their contribution to total utility. 196 of 200 questionnaires were utilized for the analysis. (Eds note: to whom were the questionnaires administered) Frequencies, crosstabs, and the conjoint, max. utility, BTL and Logit models, K-means cluster and one-way ANOVA analysesis, and the Friedman test were the statistical methods used for this study. The findings from this study were as follows: 1) the Pearson's R and Kendall's tau statistics (Eds note: these were not mentioned earlier) show that the model (Eds note: which model is this) fits the data well. 2) it was found that of all the respondents, especially the first and third clusters, regarded both the type of food and the price as very important factors. 3) it was found that all the respondents, especially the third cluster, most preferred a family restaurant (design and simulation) that provided less than 6 fusion and traditional foods. The first cluster most preferred family restaurant (design) that provided over 10 traditional and less than 6 ethnic foods. The second cluster most preferred a family restaurant (design and simulation) that provided over 10 traditional foods. 4) the results of the study have provided some insights into the effective types of family restaurant designs that can be successfully developed by those who manage menu variety, quality and type of food, price, and quality of service to university students dining at family restaurants.

The purpose of this study is to analyze elemental maintenance costs for educational buildings. The adapted research method selected three school buildings in Seoul as BTL projects. On the basis of the selected case, the study suggested a model to establish a system for each parts and to estimate analyzed maintenance costs through that system. According to the analysis, the study proposed a partial maintenance costs standard and analyzed proper maintenance costs. The results of this study are as follows 1) The system is divided into 8 large-groups and 24 small-groups for the analysis elemental maintenance costs. 2) The average rations followed by analysis of partial maintenance costs of the three school buildings are as followings, the total maintenance costs are analyzed 3,992 million won and each part of average rations is exterior of building 10.9%, interior of building 41.58%, electricity & fire fighting facility 14.22%, water supply & healthy facility 11.39%, heating & water supply facility 12.93%, landscape 6.3%, civil engineering works 2.69%.

The infrastructure in korea has been improved drastically since July 7th, 1970 which was the first highway completed date in Korea (Seoul-Pusan). This is one of the major factors for the competitiveness of a country. Now the total length of highway in Korea is more than 2000km. However Korea is 11th in the trade volume in the world, the SOC level of Korea is around 20th at most in the world (IMD 2004). The infrastructure in Korea comparing other developed countries is far below, which gives the impact of cost of goods, even twice expensive in transporting goods through highways, railways and ports etc. Now the government budget is gradually spending more for welfare and health care side. The most of additional expense of welfare is increasing rather than SOC budget is decreasing or staying as it is as 2003. The government may think that the level of SOC is enough in point of view of preference input of budget such as welfare and health care etc. However the SOC level in Korea is far form the competitiveness of the country. The main points of this paper is to show that where Korea is in point of SOC level to go for developed country, and what to do to facilitate BOT, BTO and BTL projects. Korean government has tried to improve the practice of PPI (Private Participation of Infrastructure) with the Act on Private Capital Inducement in 1994 and the Act on Private Investment in 1997.
The purpose of this study was to measure the factor influencing tourist preferences for leaf mustard iimchi. Among 250 questionnaires, 230 questionnaires were utilized for the analysis. Frequencies, conjoint model, max. utility model, BTL model, Logit model, K-means cluster analysis, and one-way ANOVA analysis were used for this study. The findings from this study were as follows. The third cluster most preferred product with dark red color, shaped package, and highly pungent taste sold at a cheap price in factory. Fourth, it was found that the first cluster most preferred simulation product with light red color, shaped package, and mild taste sold at a cheap price in factory. The second cluster most preferred simulation product with light red color, shaped package, and moderately pungent taste sold at a cheap price in factory. The third clutter most preferred simulation product with dark red color, shaped package, and highly pungent taste sold at a cheap price in factory.
This study is to improve the efficiency of BTL (Build Transfer Lease) project operation by comparing the infiltration rate based on the data of 5 years of infiltration of the separate sewer system and combined sewer system. In the survey site, the separate sewer system area consists of eight flowmeters in seven treatment basins, and the combined sewer system area consists of eight flowmeters in five treatment basins. The infillration rate was analyzed by night-time domestic flow evaluation method, and the average infiltration rates of the separate sewer system and combined sewer system were 13% and 16%, respectively. Combined sewer system was about 1.3 times higher than the separate sewer system. The average BOD of separate sewer system was 233 mg/L, which was about 2.4 times higher than the combined sewer system was 107 mg/L. In the comparison of the average pipe diameter-length infiltration of separate sewer system and combined sewer system, the separate sewer system and the combined sewer system were about 0.150 ㎥/d/mm/km and about 0.109 ㎥/d/mm/km, respectively. The floating population in mixed residential and commercial areas has been identified as the cause. Therefore, we propose a method to calculate the infiltration rate in consideration of the margin ratio in the area where the night active population is concentrated.

The range of PFI project has been expanded from Road facilities, Hobor facilities to Education facilities, Military residence facilities since 2005. Especially, The dormitory project that one of the most lucrative facilities among education facilities was progressing but it has many problems with introducing PFI project. This object of research is deriving problems by introducing PFI project and solving problems by consulting with experts. The results of research have had problems that increasing rental fee, difficulty of retrieving the investment and shortage of government supports. The solutions concerning the problems are using organization, introducing various programs and relieving regulation of government. This paper was made by consulting with experts and is expecting to use the basic data when comparing and analyzing the cases used PFI.

A lot of long-span marine bridge, which connects land to island or island to island, are being designed and constructed lately in south-west coast in South Korea. In the past, caisson foundations in marine were mainly adopted in construction and stability aspect, however, nowadays with development of pile construction technology, drilled shaft foundations are mainly adopted. As the long span cable stayed bridge and suspension bridge applied with lots of loads are being designed, the scale of pile foundations are getting larger. As the construction cost of substructure including foundation in marine bridges is too high, the appropriate evaluation of the axial bearing capacity of pile becomes a core factor to decide the construction cost of foundation if the drilled shaft is adopted as foundation type of bridge. The evaluation values of skin friction and end bearing capacity of drilled shaft in weathered rock suggested in south Korea are only to introduce the foreign specifications, and most of them are designed in a kind of hard soil layer. Also the allowable load of pile section is less than the expected bearing capacity of pile in the soil condition since the allowable capacity of pile is undervalued. Recently in order to improve this factor the bi-axial hydraulic load test of pile was taken, the data of load transfer analysis of pile, unit of skin friction and end bearing capacity are accumulated. In our country, the design of piles are made with ASD, however, LRFD considering service, strength and extreme state was adopted in Incheon Grand Bridge implemented with BTL, and the research to systematize the resistance coefficient appropriate at home country are being progressed.

In this study, it did comparative analysis on the arrangement, construction and size of rooms applied in the early design stage at the time of prize-winning with the changed ground plans in the final design of those prize-winning works in design contests and BTL hold since 2007 for middle and high schools in Gyeonggi, Daejeon, Chungcheong regions. Through the analysis, this study intends to present those matters to be changed in the facilities standards of each local education office so that it can be referred to the assessment of spatial construction and proper size being planned in the future for middle and high schools and reflected flexibly in consideration of various educational conditions and characteristics of schools by regions. Furthermore, it has the objective to play a part for the establishment of much better environment of educational facilities by provision of reference materials to those matters being changed into proper ones not into the minimum ones of the school facilities standards as the national level. For case analysis, it analyzed various rooms classified by necessary spaces. Since names of rooms and spatial constructions to constitute facilities are different from each local education office and also the analysis by each room has some limitation in the changes and improvement of rooms for a wide range, it proceeded with detailed classifications of school building facilities by each necessary space.

All firms require new stimulus to spurt growth. Therefore it is necessary to successfully develop new products and to employ appropriate marketing practices for the new products to enter and settle in the market. Binggrae, a Korean company that specializes in dairy and processed dairy products, introduced a ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee product, 'a Café la' to expand its business into the coffee market in 2008. Binggrae was a latecomer in the RTD coffee market but a Café la has shown an impressive average sales growth rate of 115% as of 2011 since the launch. Moreover, it is a steady bestselling coffee brand among the Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)bottle category. Binggrae found potential and opportunity in the growing coffee market and made efforts to develop a new product that can be differentiated from the existing products. The result was PET bottle coffee, which was more portable and convenient to drink than coffee products offered in cups or cans. PET bottle coffee is produced through the patented Aseptic Filing System, thus the original coffee flavor stays fresh when combined with milk and has a longer shelf life than coffee products in cups. Moreover, as the taste of coffee consumers has become more sophisticated, Binggrae developed a premium product by differentiating the product processing method and by using higher-quality Arabica beans. After launching the new product, the company also employed a well-designed communication strategy. First, Binggrae was able to confirm the level of market demand and market potential for the product by employing BTL (Below the Line) marketing strategies through the consumers' word-of-mouth. Afterwards, the company invested its resources for a full-scale ATL (Above the Line) marketing campaign. Later a Café la's TV commercial effectively portrayed the product's characteristics, and succeeded in raising consumer awareness of the product. As a result, a Café la has become the bestselling brand in the PET bottle coffee market. The successful new product marketing strategy of Binggrae'sa Café la offers many valuable implications for companies planning to launch new products in the future.
