브러시리스 직류모터 방식 EMDP의 구동을 위한 제어시스템 설계

  • KSLV-I의 킥모터의 추력벡터제어용 구동장치 시스템은 전기-유압식 서보 구동장치 형상으로 설계되었으며 가동노즐을 구동하는 구동장치, 유압동력을 생성하는 유압동력 생성장치, 유압동력을 구동장치에 전달해 주는 유압동력분배장치와 관성항법장치에서 입력되는 제어신호에 따라 구동장치를 제어하는 제어장치 등으로 구성되어있다. 그중에서 유압동력을 생성하는 장치는 전기모터를 이용하여 유압펌프를 구동하는 EMDP(Electric Motor Driven Pump) 방식을 채택하고 있다. 일반적으로 전기모터는 구동이 편리한 브러시 방식의 직류모터(BDC 모터)를 사용하는데 일정 고도이상에서는 사용이 용이하지 않다. 그래서 고고도에서 사용하기 위해 브러시없는 직류모터(BLDC 모터)를 이용하여 유압펌프를 구동하는 시스템을 개발하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 브러시없는 직류모터를 구동하기 위한 제어기 설계에 대하여 자세히 설명하고자 한다.

  • Among low power servo applications, classical DC motors are very popular because they are reasonably cheap and easy to control. The main disadvantage is the mechanical collector which has only a limited life period. Also, brush sparking can destroy the rotor coil, generate EMC problems. So permanent magnet brushless do motors and drives are being used increasingly in a wide range of applications. This has been made possible with the advantages of high performance permanent magnets with high coercively and residual magnetic, which make it possible for the PM to have superior power density, torque to inertia ratio and efficiency, when compared to an induction or conventional dc machine. This paper presents the design of a PM brushless dc motor drive simplistically operates as a classical dc motor. The BLDC motor drive system for this paper composes to the power integrated circuits, the one chip device. And several simple semiconductors add to drive system for a motor drive system simplistically operates as a conventional dc motor. Test results confirmed the feasibility of the proposed motor drive system design.

  • 브러시리스 직류전동기는 보수 유지의 용이성과 가제어성의 특성으로 인하여 자동화 공장에서 많이 활용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 산업현장에서 고성능과 유용성을 가지는 정현파형 브러시리스 직류전동기의 속도제어 서보시스템을 설계하였다. 이 서보시스템은 전동기의 구동에 필요한 제어장치와 새로운 자동동조 PI제어 알고리즘에 의해서 구현되어진다. 주 제어기와 센서 신호처리부는 고속연산의 필요성과 설계의 적절성 때문에 DSP를 사용하였고, DSP에서 출력되는 속도지령을 정확히 추종하기 위해 하드웨어 PWM 전류제어기를 구현하였다. 실험 결과 지령치에 대한 빠른 응답과 지령치 변화에 따른 정상상태 응답이 오버슈트 없이 잘 수렴함을 확인 할 수 있었다.

  • BLDCM(Brushless D.C. Motor) is widely used industrial application because of high efficiency and high power density. Especially, In servo system and home appliance, BLDCM is very useful due to high control performance and low acoustic noise. In this paper, 2.5HP rated BLDCM controller and drive was developed for tread mill application. The prototype BLDCM has 4 poles rotor and 24 slots stator. Ferrite was used as a rotor magnet due to the cost and temperature characteristic. For the stable operation of tread mill, over current and high temperature can be detected by the DSP control1er. For the commutation signal, switching patterns from the sensorless circuit and hall sensor signal are used in the DSP controller.

A New Approach for Pulsating Torque Minimization of BLDC Motor

  • Torque ripple control of brushless DC motor has long been the main issue of the servo drive systems in which the speed fluctuation, vibration and acoustic noise need to be minimized. The vast majority of the methods for suppressing the torque ripple require the Fourier series analysis and either the iterative or least mean square minimization. In this paper, a novel approach based on the d-q-0 reference frame that achieves ripple-free torque control with maximum efficiency is presented. The proposed method optimizes the reference phase current waveforms including even the case of 3-phase unbalanced condition, and the motor winding currents are controlled to track the optimized current waveforms by the delta modulation technique. As a results, the proposed approach provides a simple and yet effectine means for obtaining the optimal motor excitation currents. The validity and applicability of the proposed control scheme are verified through simulations and experimental investigations.

  • In this paper, the FLVSC (Fuzzy Logic Variable Structure controller), of which control rules are extracted from the concepts of the VSC(Variable Structure control) is proposed and diesgned for drum motor(BLDC motor) in home VCR. The FLC (Fuzzy Logic Controller) based on linguistic rules has the advantages of not needing of some exact mathermatical model for plant to be controlled. The proposed method has the characteristics which are viewed in conventional VSC, e.g. insensitivity to a class of distrubances, parameter variations and uncertainites in a sliding mode. In addition, the method has the properties of the FLC-noise rejection capability etc. The computer simulation and experiment using DSP(TMS320C30) have been carried out for the servo control of VCR drum motor to show the usefulness of the proposed method.

선형 유도기 구동 방식 공기 베어링 스테이지에 관한 연구 (Study on the Air-bearing Stage Driven by Linear Induction Motors)

  • Linear induction motor is adopted as an actuator of the planar stage. An inherently poor characteristic at zero or ultra-low speed zone of the induction motor is remarkably improved due to a recent development of power electronic semiconductor technology and a spatial vector control theory. At present, a servo response speed of the induction motor reaches 90 percent of one of PM synchronous or BLDC motor. Specially, as a secondary of the induction motor can be constructed using uniform conducting sheets, there is no periodic force ripple as in PM motors. So, the induction motor can be superior to another driving means under a certain condition. This paper discusses the overall development procedure of non-contact planar stage with a big workspace using linear induction motors.

소형 추적 레이다용 서보 개발 (Development of Servo for Small Tracking Radars)

  • 본 논문에서는 소형 추적 레이더에 적용 가능한 서보의 설계, 제작, 시험에 대해 기술하였다. 우선 1장에서는 본 연구의 필요성에 대해 기술하였다. 2장에서는 향후 소형 유도무기용 추적 레이다에 적용 가능한 서보 개발에 대해 기술하였다. 3장에서는 브러쉬 직류전동기, 브러쉬리스 직류 전동기, 영구 자석 동기 전동기의 전류 제어를 위한 설계 및 시험 결과를 대해 기술하였다. 그리고 4장에서는 시험 휠의 속도 제어를 위한 설계 및 시험 결과를 기술하였다. 그리고 5장에서는 앞선 시험들의 결과를 정리하였다. 본 논문에서는 보안상의 이유로 일부 그림을 의도적으로 흐림(blur) 처리 하였으며, 개발된 짐벌과의 시험이 아니라 별도의 시험 휠의 제어 결과를 기술하였다.

주행 슬립 오차 보상기를 가지는 레일 가이드 무인 설비 감시 장치의 위치 제어기 (Position Controller of Rail Guided Unmanned Monitoring System with the Driving Slip Compensator)

  • The real time unmanned monitoring system of an equipment's internal parts and condition requires the monitoring device to be able to stop at a set location on the rail. However, due to the slip between the driving surface and the roller, an error occurs between the actual position and the command position. In this paper, a method to compensate the position error due to the roller slip is proposed. A proximity sensor located at both ends of the rail detects the starting point and the maximum position pulse, linearly compensating the error between the angular position of the motor and the mechanically fixed starting and maximum position pulse of the rail in forward and reverse direction. Moreover, unlike the existing servo position controller, the motor adopts the position detection method of Hall sensor in BLDC (Brushless DC) and applies an algorithm for low-speed driving so that a stable position control is possible. The proposed rail guided unmanned monitoring system with driving slip compensator was tested to verify the effectiveness.

피드포워드를 이용한 속도리플 자동 보상 알고리즘 (Automatic Velocity Ripple Compensation Algorithm by Feedforward Control)

  • In order to improve the speed performance of the direct drive mechanical systems, a comprehensive analysis of the velocity ripples of blushless DC motors should be required. Every motor has a certain level of torque ripples when it generates power, and the generated torque ripple also makes the velocity ripples in the final output stage in speed control system. In this paper, a novel algorithm for reducing velocity ripples is proposed based on the modeling of torque ripples for BLDC motors. Various algorithms have been made for torque ripples, but usually they should be installed inside the amplifier logic, result in the difficulties of flexibility for various kinds of torque ripples. The proposed algorithm was developed for being ported in the controller not the amplifier, and it has the capability of the automatic compensation adjustment. The performance of the proposed algorithm was verified by effective simulations and experiments.
