퍼지 PI 제어기를 사용한 BLDC 제어 응답특성 (The Characteristic of Control Response of BLDC using a Fuzzy PI Controller)

  • BLDC motor is used in a wide variety of industrial and servo applications. Its features and advantages mainly consist in high value of torque/inertia ratio, high efficiency with speed range and high dynamic performance. This paper deals with the speed control of a trapezoidal type brushless DC motor using Fuzzy PI controller. The conventional PI controller has been widely used in industrial applications. If we select a optimal PI control gain, the PI controller shows very good control performance. But it is very difficult to find the optimal PI control gain. Fuzzy control does not need any model of plant and is basically adaptive and gives robust performance for plant parameter variation. Therefore the combinations of conventional PI controller and fuzzy controller seem to be very effective. This paper deals with PI controller with 4-rule based fuzzy controller. The proposed fuzzy PI controller increases the control performance of the conventional PI controller. Simulation and experimental results show that fuzzy PI controller has a good robustness regarding the improper tuned PI controller.

외란 관측기 기반의 BLDC 전동기 추종제어 (Tracking Control of BLDC Motor Based on Disturbance Observer)

  • 전동기의 수학적 모델 오차와 작용하는 외란을 고려하여 제어기를 설계하는 것이 강건하며 정밀한 제어 성능을 좌우한다. 강건하며 정밀한 제어를 위하여 기계적인 부분과 전기적인 부분의 외란 관측기를 설계하여 외란을 추정하고, 공칭 시스템으로 설계된 속도제어기와 전류 제어기에 나누어 적용하였다. 설계된 시스템의 제어 성능을 확인하고자 120 [W]급의 BLDC 전동기에 적용하여, 속도 추종제어의 결과 외란을 극복하고 정상상태 오차가 영으로 수렴하며, 점근적 안정한 결과를 확인할 수 있다.

로봇청소기용 BLDC 모터 (BLDC Motors for Robot Vacuum Cleaners)

  • This paper is presented for robot vacuum cleaners using BLDC motors. Recently, BLDC motors which require smaller size, lower sound noise and higher efficiency have been placed in high value-added products including robot vacuum cleaners, vehicle cars and other industry applications. The DC motors have higher sound noise, higher height of the size and lower efficiency due to electro-magnetic structure using the brushes and the commutators. The proposed BLDC motors are appropriate for the motors adequate in regards to higher efficiency, longer life cycle time, and smaller height of the size when robot vacuum cleaners go to some lower height of the space like under sleeping beds and because it's power source is batteries. The paper shows the performance of the BLDC motors designed by the Finite Element Analysis(FEA) of the electro-magnetic field. This paper shows the mechanical structure and the prototype of the motor with the impeller. The performance characteristics of the BLDC motors with the hall sensor controller are verified by the experimental results.

  • 허브(hub) BLDC(Brushless Direct Current) 전동기란 아우터로터 타입 고효율 전동기로 다극의 영구자석으로 이루어진 회전자가 바퀴의 구동축이 되는 직접구동용 모터를 말하며, 휠인모터라고도 불린다. 본 연구에서는 허브모터를 구동축으로 갖는 2륜 또는 3륜 구동체를 구동하기 위한 BLDC 허브모터 속도 제어기를 PIC 마이크로 컨트롤러를 이용하여 설계한다. 구동기는 6 개의 독립된 MOSFET 스위칭소자를 사용하여 구성하며, 게이트 구동회로는 직접 설계하여 경제성을 높인다.

  • Due to low cost and high reliability, Brushless DC (BLDC) motors have been widely used in control applications such as robotics, aerospace and automobile. In the high performance control systems, it is very important to maintain the desired speed even in the face of parameter uncertainties, modeling errors, and disturbance signals. In this paper, we present an $H_{\infty}$ controller for the speed control of BLDC motors to achieve better performance of disturbance rejection. In particular, we discuss how to reduce an initial peaks of control input in the proposed $H_{\infty}$ controller. Some experimental results are provided to establish the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • The 7-phase BLDC motor is possible for higher efficiency per the unit area, high power and high speed due to the increasing number of phase. Also, it can be looking forward to reduce the current ripple at a point of commutation by the increasing number of phase. Thus, a study for applications of servo system, medical and military instruments is progressing about the BLDC motor is manufactured with multi-phase, currently. This paper is used the fuzzy logic control method for speed control of 7-phase BLDC motor and this is compared with the conventional PI controller using by simulation and experimental results for verification validity of the fuzzy logic controller in this system. The 7-phase BLDC motor and controller are modeled by PSIM6.0 software of PowerSim co. in simulation and we are experimented by the test board that is composed with TMS320VC33-150 DSP controller of Texas Instruments co. and FLEX EPF6016TC144-3 of ALTERA co.

  • This paper represents a realization of a fuzzy PI control method for a speed control of BLDC motor. In other words, the gains of the PI controller is tuned by a fuzzy logic controller. Simplified reasoning methods are used for fuzzy reasoning. Fuzzy logic speed controller is designed by using the high performance of DSPchip(TMS320F240). By experiment, it is confirmed that the speed of BLDC motor well follows an command speed in the load variables or speed variables.

  • 본 논문은 BLDC 전동기의 고성능 속도제어를 위하여 외란 초크 관측기를 기반으로 한 속도 제어 방법에 대하여 기술하였다. 강성이 낮은 로봇 팔이나 추적 응용의 경우 시스템의 안정성 측면에서 속도 제어기의 이득 값을 크게 할 수 없다. 따라서 외란 토크 관측기를 이용한 전향 보상 방법을 이용하였다. 본 방법으로 속도 제어기의 이득을 충분히 크게 할 수 없을 때 외란 토크에 대한 속도 응답 특성을 향상시킬 수 있다. 결과적으로, 고성능 분야의 응용을 위한 BLDC 전동기의 속도 제어가 가능하게 된다.

  • The conventional self-tuning methods have the speed control problem of nonlinear BLDC motor which can't adapt against any kinds of noise or operation circumstances. In this paper, supposed to solve these problem to PI parameters controller algorithm using ANN. In the proposed algorithm, the parameters of the controller were adjusted to reduce by on-line system the error of the speed of BLDC motor. In this process, EBPA NN was constituted to an output error value of a BLDC motor and conspired an input and output. The performance of the self-tuning controller is compared with that of the PI controller tuned by conventional method(Z&N). The effectiveness of the proposed control method IS verified thought the Matlab Simulink.

  • This paper describes a fully digitalized driver for BLDC motors which is realized by a single chip microprocessor. The speed change can be done by using the signal obtained from the position detecting sensor and adjusting the pulse width at the input channel of power module. In order to establish a speed control system a repetitive control method is adopted to track a periodic refer-ence change in the BLDC motor system. The experimental results show accurate reference track-ing performance under the given periodic reference in the repetitive controller design.
