실내공간정보를 활용한 비콘기반 화재위험감지와 재실자 피난지원 서비스에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fire Evacuation Guidance System using Indoor Spatial Information from Beacon)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the possibility of adopting beacons to implement the fire evacuation guidance system in order to reduce the evacuation time for a fire in complex buildings. A beacon-based evacuation system can quickly detect a fire's origin, optimal path of evacuation involved with the exits and the location of evacuees using information collected by the proposed system. The assessment is conducted by integrating different scenario models including fire simulation. Based on the research result, beacon is an effective tool to warn potential hazards or to provide early detection and a safe escape.

  • Future performance prediction of bridges is challenging task for structural engineers. Well-organized information from design, construction and operation stages is essential for the assessment of structures. Digital twin model is a new concept to realize more reliable data platform for management of infrastructures. Damage history including degradation of material, cracking, corrosion, etc. needs to be accumulated in the digital model. The digital model is linked to the analysis model for the assessment of structural performance considering changed mechanical properties of structural components. In this paper, initial definition digital twin model of a PSC-I girder bridge is proposed.

  • As the number of aged bridges increases, the development of efficient bridge maintenance techniques is becoming more important. Particularly, there have been many studies on digital-twin models of bridges for maintenance and SHM (Structure Health Monitering). However, in order to use the digital-twin model for maintenance of the bridge, the model updating process that matches the structural response between the real bridge and the digital-twin bridge model must be done. This study presents a model updating method that adjusts bridge's stiffness and boundary condition with genetic algorithm (GA) using static displacements and verified proposed updating method through field test on PSC girder bridge. This study also proposes a conceptual idea to construct an efficient bridge maintenance system by applying the updated numerical analysis model to the digital-twin model.

  • 토목분야 생산성 향상을 위해 BIM을 적용하기 위한 노력이 계속되고 있으나, 선형과 지반에 대한 정보가 필수적인 터널 구조물의 정보모델링에 대한 연구는 미흡한 상황이다. AMT에서 생성된 선형의 이산화를 통해 포인트의 정보를 BAT로 전달하여 곡선 선형을 반영한 터널 모델 생성 방안을 제시하였다. 철도 구조물과 선형에 대한 물리적 요소와 공간적 요소를 모두 고려할 수 있도록 IFC 데이터 스키마를 확장하였으며, 확장된 데이터 스키마를 참조하여 선형, 구조물, 지반 정보에 대한 의미정보를 PSET에 담아 IFC기반의 정보관리를 가능하게 하였다. 제안한 방법에 따라 생성한 정보모델을 통해 터널과 밀접한 암반 등급을 자동으로 도출함으로써 활용성을 검증하였다.

  • 기존의 건축계획 및 설계과정에서는 건축물 내 외부의 공간감을 확인하기 위해 건물모형을 제작하였으나 건물모형은 비교적 많은 제작 시간과 노력이 들며 건물의 내부 정보를 파악하기에 어려움이 따른다. 이를 보완하기 위해 기존 설계, 계획 과정과 그에 대한 가시화 방법으로써 CAD툴을 사용하여 건물 모형으로는 파악하기 어려운 건물 내부 정보를 가시화 할 수 있었지만, 건물모형에서 확인할 수 있는 부피감을 확인하기에는 부족함이 존재한다. 기본적으로 CAD는 설계에 목적을 두고 만들어진 프로그램이며 일반적인 가시화 환경인 2차원 모니터 화면상에서 3차원 건물을 보여주게 되므로 공간에 대한 인지적 몰입감을 만족시키기에는 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 BIM 형상정보 데이터를 일련의 소프트웨어로 가공하여 증강현실 컨텐츠로 변환하는 과정을 소개한다. 이는 건축계획 및 설계과정에서 형상정보가 수정될 경우 최종 가시화까지 소요되는 비용과 시간을 단축시킬 수 있다. 또한 BIM 형상정보를 증강현실기법을 이용하여 3차원 인지공간에서 가시화함으로써 3차원 건물의 내 외부 공간정보를 분석하기가 용이하다. 또한 건물의 내 외부 정보를 증강현실 환경에서 효과적으로 조작할 수 있도록 건축 요소의 제거, 슬라이스컷 등 다양한 인터랙션을 제안한다.

BIM 모델 활용을 위한 360° 카메라 이미지의 객체 탐지 알고리즘 정확성 비교 연구 (A Study on the Accuracy Comparison of Object Detection Algorithms for 360° Camera Images for BIM Model Utilization)

  • 최근 건설산업 분야에 BIM 기술의 활용이 보편화되면서 3D 모델과 실제 시공 부위의 오류 확인 등을 위해 다양한 객체 탐지 알고리즘들이 활용되고 있다. 객체 탐지 기술은 건축물, 교량, 터널 등 건설시설물의 종류에 따라 객체 특성이 상이하므로 객체 탐지 기술도 적절한 방법을 사용할 필요가 있다. 또한 객체 탐지를 위해서는 초기 객체 이미지가 있어야 하며 이를 위해서도 드론, 스마트폰 등 다양한 방법으로 이미지 취득이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 철도와 도로 시설의 터널 부위에 대하여 초기 이미지 구축을 위해 터널 내부 촬영에 최적화된 360° 카메라를 이용하여 이미지를 촬영하고, 촬영된 이미지로부터 실제 객체를 탐지하기 위한 객체 탐지 방법론으로 YOLO 알고리즘, SSD 알고리즘 및 R-CNN 알고리즘을 적용하여 방법론별 객체 탐지의 정확도를 비교 분석한다. 분석 결과 Faster R-CNN 알고리즘이 SSD, YOLO v5 알고리즘에 비해 높은 인식률 및 mAP 값을 가졌으며 인식률들의 최소·최대 값의 차이가 작아 균등한 검측 능력을 나타냈다. 이러한 연구는 철도와 도로 시설공사에 BIM 적용이 확산되고 있는 점을 고려하면 360° 카메라의 활용 방법 확대와 유지보수를 위한 터널 시설 부위의 객체 탐지 방법론 적용에 활용될 수 있다.

디지털 트윈 개념을 적용한 프로토타이핑 기반 디자인 프로세스: 기초연구 (Prototyping-based Design Process Integrated with Digital-Twin: A Fundamental Study)

  • In the general manufacturing sector, prototyping used to reduce the risks that can arise with new conceptual products. However, in AEC area, it does not mass-produce a building, so the prototype itself becomes a building. Therefore, it is challenging to have prototyping of the same scale as the real thing, and the prototyping process in architecture is very inefficient. The prototyping process in the design stage typically assumes making a scaled model, partial model, or digital model. However, it is difficult for these models to correspond to the actual building and the environment of time and space such as scale, material, environment, load, physical properties and deformation, corrosion, etc., unlike the actual building. When using the digital twin concept in the prototyping process, it is possible to measure performance from the design stage to the operation stage. The digital twin was found by a method for monitoring based on physical twins and real-time linkage in the operation stage. Therefore, if the digital twin concept is applied at the design stage, it is possible to predict performance using not only current performance but also history information using real-time information. In order to apply the digital twin concept to the prototyping design process, we analyze the theoretical considerations and the prototyping design process of the digital twin, analyze the cases and research results where the prototyping design was applied, Provide an applied prototyping design process. The proposed process is tested through a pilot project and analyzed for potential use.

Sertad1 Induces Neurological Injury after Ischemic Stroke via the CDK4/p-Rb Pathway

  • SERTA domain-containing protein 1 (Sertad1) is upregulated in the models of DNA damage and Alzheimer's disease, contributing to neuronal death. However, the role and mechanism of Sertad1 in ischemic/hypoxic neurological injury remain unclear. In the present study, our results showed that the expression of Sertad1 was upregulated in a mouse middle cerebral artery occlusion and reperfusion model and in HT22 cells after oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R). Sertad1 knockdown significantly ameliorated ischemia-induced brain infarct volume, neurological deficits and neuronal apoptosis. In addition, it significantly ameliorated the OGD/R-induced inhibition of cell viability and apoptotic cell death in HT22 cells. Sertad1 knockdown significantly inhibited the ischemic/hypoxic-induced expression of p-Rb, B-Myb, and Bim in vivo and in vitro. However, Sertad1 overexpression significantly exacerbated the OGD/R-induced inhibition of cell viability and apoptotic cell death and p-Rb, B-Myb, and Bim expression in HT22 cells. In further studies, we demonstrated that Sertad1 directly binds to CDK4 and the CDK4 inhibitor ON123300 restores the effects of Sertad1 overexpression on OGD/R-induced apoptotic cell death and p-Rb, B-Myb, and Bim expression in HT22 cells. These results suggested that Sertad1 contributed to ischemic/hypoxic neurological injury by activating the CDK4/p-Rb pathway.

  • The research aims to find implications of machine learning and urban big data as a way to construct the flexible transportation network system of smart city by responding the urban context changes. This research deals with a problem that existing a bus headway model is difficult to respond urban situations in real-time. Therefore, utilizing the urban big data and machine learning prototyping tool in weathers, traffics, and bus statues, this research presents a flexible headway model to predict bus delay and analyze the result. The prototyping model is composed by real-time data of buses. The data is gathered through public data portals and real time Application Program Interface (API) by the government. These data are fundamental resources to organize interval pattern models of bus operations as traffic environment factors (road speeds, station conditions, weathers, and bus information of operating in real-time). The prototyping model is implemented by the machine learning tool (RapidMiner Studio) and conducted several tests for bus delays prediction according to specific circumstances. As a result, possibilities of transportation system are discussed for promoting the urban efficiency and the citizens' convenience by responding to urban conditions.

  • Recently, the industry actively adopts the cutting-edge technologies of the fourth industrial revolution and uses them to enhance the productivity and service of mass-customization. The manufacturing industry is creating new processes and business models by achieving digital transformations through a lean start-up approach aimed at achieving the highest customer satisfaction with minimal resources. Although attempts are made to manufacture the building by introducing the latest technology in architecture, it is applied sporadically, not as an integrated system, in the entire phase of the architectural project. This paper analyzes the changes in the construction industry through the application of core technologies of the fourth industrial revolution. Design processes are analyzed for the digital transformation of the construction industry by case study of advanced architectural design practice. A novel design concept model 'Architectural lean startup' is proposed by combining the architectural process and the lean start up method. Through the design of the bus stop based on the architectural lean startup concept, it is confirmed that the designer repeats the 'Generate-Test-Analysis' to develop the design and generate the final result.
