BIM data mapping based on M-BDL for BIM-BEMS connection (BIM-BEMS 연계를 위한 M-BDL 기반 BIM 데이터 맵핑)

  • This study proposes MF (Model Filter)-based M-BDL (MF-based BIM Data Linkage), which is a model filter-based data mapping method for BIM (Building Information Modeling)-BEMS linkage. Recently, BEMS (Building Energy Management System) is actively utilizing 3D spatial information. This allows the user to intuitively manage the facility energy linked to spatial information. To use BIM data in energy management systems, it is essential to link BEMS with BIM data only in terms of the user requirements. On the other hand, if the BIM is a rich dataset and is linked as it is, the user will need to manage the unnecessary information. By mapping only the data required for BEMS in heavy BIM data through M-BDL, the BIM data can be lightened and the amount of data required for maintenance can be reduced. This technology proposes a mapping method that can link the BIM data with the filtered BIM data.

  • Recently there are many efforts for saving energy in building. therefore Building energy management systems(BEMS) are expected to a reduction energy cost. BEMS has many benefits which could switch plant on and off automatically. Also It optimize plan operation and services, monitor plant status and environmental conditions and to provide energy analysis and management information. In these days, many public buildings are applied BEMS but there are few studies about application of small or medium buildings. Therefore, in this study, we will find how to apply BEMS in small or medium buildings.

  • K-BEMS System was introduced to reduce peak load and to save total energy of the 200 buildings that KEPCO headquarter and branch offices use. And K-BEMS system is composed of PV, battery, and hybrid PCS. KEPCO research institute has carried out this K-BEMS research project for 3 years since January 2016. In this paper, the results of the project are shown. 9 modes of test results of K-BEMS system and are operational problems were analyzed. And measures to cure the trouble are also suggested. Batteries are operated more than 20% of SOC, and less than 20% of SOC battery protection switches are automatically shutting down the system and the system no longer respond to EMS, ending the supply of PV, and so therefore to continue the PV power supply it was turn out to be necessary that the EMS should automatically change its policy to change PV only supply mode automatically when the Battery Switch automatically operated. To operate the system continuously and automatically, it is necessary to modify the minimum operational SOC value, and in addition to that the EMS computer must remember the last shut-down SOC and Voltage which interrupted the system and add some margin to reflect the measurement error in the system.

  • 본 논문에서는 그린빌딩의 에너지관리시스템(BEMS)를 이용하여 건물을 구성하는 각 건축설비들의 에너지 사용량을 정확히 측정하고 분석한 데이터를 토대로 운전방법을 개선함으로써 건물 에너지를 효과적으로 운용하여 에너지 손실을 막기 위한 각종 기능 및 활성화 방안을 알아보도록 한다.

A Study on Control and Monitoring System for Building Energy Management System

  • Building energy saving is one of the most important issues in these days. Control algorithm for energy saving should be designed properly to reduce power consumption in building. Recently, building energy system consists of hybrid energy system coupling with RE (Renewable Energy) source. In this paper, an optimum control algorithm for building energy saving is applied to BEMS (Building Energy Management System) by using an outdoor air temperature prediction strategy. BEMS coupling with renewable energy can control HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning) system effectively. In order to verify the effectiveness of building energy saving, BEMS was tested for several months at a laboratorial chamber with an air conditioner, fan and heater. To this end BEMS embedded control algorithm has been tested successfully.

  • In this paper, we propose an interworking architecture for building indoor air quality monitoring server (BEMS) using IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things). The proposed monitoring server adopts IIoT-based standard protocol so that interaction with BEMS installed in existing buildings can be performed easily. It can effectively communicate with indoor air quality measurement sensor installed in the building based on IIoT, Indoor air quality monitoring is possible. We implemented a proposed monitoring server, and confirmed the availability and monitoring of data from sensors in the building.

  • 최근 정부는 에너지관리의 중요성을 인식하여 수요관리 및 분산형발전시스템을 2015년도 에너지기본계획에 포함시켰다. 이에 따라 K-water는 K-water형 BEMS(Building Energy Management System) 구축을 위한 태양광 연계 ESS(Energy Storage System)를 검토했다. 그리고 BEMS를 시범적용하여 실제적인 분석과 문제점을 고찰하였다. 이를 통해 태양광발전을 연계한 ESS를 이용하여 K-water형 BEMS 모델의 방법론 및 실행방법을 알아보고자 한다.

  • Currently, the energy consumption rate in buildings is approximately 28.5% of the total energy consumption in Korea. Therefore the amount of the consumption of petroleum resourses is at a worrying level of the blackout. The system of the amount of the Architectural Energy Efficiency Grade [AEEG] is in force by the government to apply the technologies of the Emissions Trading System and the Target Management System to mitigate the Green House Gases for buildings according to the climate change. On the account the mitigation of the Green House Gases and the reduction of the energy, from the view of maintenance and management, for the new and remodeling buildings should be under consideration. The author wants to present the possible ways how to improve the AEEG for the existing buildings by trying to establish the foundation of the BEMs, and by confirming the potential of the energy savings.

  • A building energy-saving have been increased worldwide interest. There is continuing research on IT technology for efficient management of BEMS. Recently, It is able to control of LED and to maximize energy savings to the development of LED lighting technology. We propose the security image processing system to improve efficiency and we implement the real-time status monitoring system to surveil the object in the building energy management system. In this paper, we proposed the system of LED control using Zigbee network for connect the server. User is able to control LED light and monitering by the desktop. We implemented LED light control software on the based of Real-time monitering and LED control. Also detect human body movement.
