Let f be an integral quadratic form in k variables, F the Gram matrix corresponding to a ℤ-basis of ℤk. For r ∈ F-1ℤk, a rational number n with f(r) ≡ n mod ℤ and a positive integer c, set Nf(n, r; c) := #{x ∈ ℤk/cℤk : f(x + r) ≡ n mod c}. Siegel showed that for each prime p, there is a number w depending on r and n such that Nf(n, r; pν+1) = pk-1Nf(n, r; pν) holds for every integer ν > w and gave a rough estimation on the upper bound for such w. In this short note, we give a more explicit estimation on this bound than Siegel's.
In this paper some attempts have been made: (a) To identify all the elementary minor concepts of the Highest Common Factor (H.C.F.) and the Lowest Common Multiple (L.C.M.), and (b) To find the sequential order of these elementary concepts. Total 385 elementary minor concepts have been identified and sequenced.

The physicochemical characteristics and acceptability of various commercial low-priced French wines were determined. A~E wines were manufactured from France and F wine was bottled in Germany using French Cabernet Sauvignon grape species. Sample wines were analyzed for pH, total soluble content, acidity, color, total sugar, total polyphenol and sulfur dioxide. The pH of the wines were ranged from 3.3 to 2.6. The total soluble contents were the highest in wine A (10.25 Brix%), followed by wine C (9.72 Brix%), wine D (9.67 Brix%) and wine B (9.61 Brix%) and were the lowest in wines E and F (9.42 Brix%). In the color analysis, wine F showed the highest L (lightness) and a (redness) value (28.11 and 23.86, respectively). The b (yellowness) value for all the samples studied ranged from 52.17 to 61.05. Wine C (62.24 g/L) and F (69.91 g/L) showed higher total sugar contents, and the total sugar contents of wines D, E, B and A were 48.58, 42.74, 37.74 and 36.99 g/L, respectively. Total polyphenol contents were the highest in wine C (2.59 g/L) and the lowest in wines A and B (1.90 g/L). The contents of sulfite in wine D (68.78 mg/L) were the highest and was the lowest in wine B (58.18 mg/L). The sensory characteristics and preference analysis (sourness, bitterness, sweetness, astringent taste, aroma, color and overall acceptability) of the red wines used in this study were determined by 15 panelists using the 7-point hedonic scale. Sourness of wines ranged between 3.8~4.9 and sweetness of wines D and F (3.0) were the highest amongst the red wines used in this study. Wines D, E and F had the higher scores in overall acceptability of sensory properties and wine E was the highest amongst the wines used in this study.
In this paper, we study the existence of finite order meromorphic solutions of the following non-linear difference equation fn(z) + Pd(z, f) = p1eα1z + p2eα2z + p3eα3z, where n ≥ 2 is an integer, Pd(z, f) is a difference polynomial in f of degree d ≤ n - 2 with small functions of f as its coefficients, pj (j = 1, 2, 3) are small meromorphic functions of f and αj (j = 1, 2, 3) are three distinct non-zero constants. We give the expressions of finite order meromorphic solutions of the above equation under some restrictions on αj (j = 1, 2, 3). Some examples are given to illustrate the accuracy of the conditions.

In this study, boron, carbon, nitrogen and fluorine co-doped $TiO_{2}$ photocatalysts using tetraethylammonium tetrafluoroborate (TEATFB) have been prepared by different heat treatment temperatures to decrease the band gap. To explore the visible light photocatalytic activity of the novel low‐zband gap $TiO_{2}$ photocatalyst, the removal of two dyes was investigated, namely, acridine orange and rhodamine B. XRD patterns demonstrate that the samples calcined at temperatures up to $800^{\circ}C$ clearly show anatase peaks. The XPS results show that all the doped samples contain N, C, B and F elements and the doped $TiO_{2}$ shows the shift in the band gap transition down to 2.98 eV as UV-DRS results. In these UV-Vis results, photocatalytic activity of the doped $TiO_{2}$ is 1.61 times better than undoped $TiO_{2}$. Specially, excellent photoactivity results were obtained in the case of samples treated at $700^{\circ}C$.

Purpose: We studied the patterns of FDG uptake of primary papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMCa) lesions and benign thyroid nodules in dual time point $^{18}F$-FDG PET/CT imaging. Materials and Methods: Consecutive 134 patients (154 lesions) with PTMCa and 49 patients (61 nodules) with benign thyroid nodules equal to or less than 1.0 cm who underwent dual time point $^{18}F$-FDG PET/CT study before surgery were enrolled. We calculated the maximum standardized uptake value of PTMCa and benign nodules in both time points, and percent change of SUVmax (${\Delta}%SUVmax$) and lesion to background ratio of SUVmax (${\Delta}L:B$% ratio) between both time points. The mean time interval between scans was $23.4{\pm}4.4$ minutes (thyroid to thyroid interval: $10.7{\pm}4.4$ minutes). Results: The mean of SUVmax of PTMCa was increased from $4.9{\pm}4.3$ to $5.3{\pm}4.7$ (p<0.001) and ${\Delta}%SUVmax$ was $12.3{\pm}23.6%$. But, the mean of SUVmax of benign nodules was no definite change ($2.1{\pm}1.0$ to $2.1{\pm}1.3$, p=0.686) and ${\Delta}%SUVmax$ was $-0.3{\pm}20.5%$. Of the 154 PTMCa, 100 nodules (64.9%) showed an increase in SUVmax over time, while 19 (31.1%) of the 61 benign thyroid nodules showed an increase (p<0.001). The dual time point $^{18}F$-FDG PET/CT found more PTMCa in visual assessment (62.3% vs. 76.6%, p=0.006), even in smaller than 0.5 cm (38.6% vs. 60.0%, p=0.011). Conclusion: Dual time time $^{18}F$-FDG PET/CT imaging was more useful than single time point $^{18}F$-FDG PET/CT imaging for distinction between PTMCa and benign nodule, especially when nodule showed equivocal or negative findings in single time point $^{18}F$-FDG PET/CT imaging or was smaller than 0.5 cm.
The objective of this study was to compare the color and microstructure of powder, redness, brownness, and antioxidative activity in extruded ginseng, white ginseng and red ginseng extracts. The colors of extruded dry ginseng powder (moisture content 30%, barrel temperature $110^{\circ}C$, and screw speed 200 rpm) were similar to those of red ginseng. Intact cell wall structure was examined in dried root ginseng at $70^{\circ}C$ (A), white ginseng with skin (D), white ginseng without skin (E), and red ginseng (F) under a scanning electron microscope. The cell wall was not detected in samples B and C (dry ginsengs extruded with 25% and 30% moisture contents, respectively). Intact starch granules were detected in samples A, D, and E under a scanning electron microscope. Melted starch granules were detected in samples B, C, and F. Colors (L, a, b) of 50% EtOH extracts were similar in samples C and F. Browniness and redness of extracts were high in extruded dry ginseng and red ginseng extracts. Extruded dry ginseng (B) showed higher electron donation ability and phenolic content than the other samples.
Let 𝓟 = {Xi : i ∈ I} be a partition of a set X. We say that a transformation f : X → X preserves 𝓟 if for every Xi ∈ 𝓟, there exists Xj ∈ 𝓟 such that Xif ⊆ Xj. Consider the semigroup 𝓑(X, 𝓟) of all transformations f of X such that f preserves 𝓟 and the character (map) χ(f): I → I defined by iχ(f) = j whenever Xif ⊆ Xj is bijective. We describe Green's relations on 𝓑(X, 𝓟), and prove that 𝒟 = 𝒥 on 𝓑(X, 𝓟) if 𝓟 is finite. We give a necessary and sufficient condition for 𝒟 = 𝒥 on 𝓑(X, 𝓟). We characterize unit-regular elements in 𝓑(X, 𝓟), and determine when 𝓑(X, 𝓟) is a unit-regular semigroup. We alternatively prove that 𝓑(X, 𝓟) is a regular semigroup. We end the paper with a conjecture.
This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of type of culture media (BM, G2, OS, TCM, and MEM) on B6D2F1 mice oogenesis. In the present study, B6D2F1/CrljOri $F_1$ mice were utilized in order to maximize oogenesis. Also we used TCM-199, Dulbecco's medified Eagle's medium (DMEM), embryo culture medium (Fertilization medium, Cleavage medium, Blastocyst medium), G series medium and One step medium. In vitro maturation was highest in BM followed by the order of OS, MEM, TCM and G2 ($90{\pm}2.8%>88{\pm}3.2%>85{\pm}4.9%>78{\pm}10.2%>64{\pm}7.7%$, respectively). To note, the G2 group was statistically different compared to other groups (p<0.05). On the other hand the fertilization rate was highest in the G2 group followed by BM, OS, TCM, and MEM ($87{\pm}7.2%>85{\pm}6.9%>74{\pm}14.0%>71{\pm}13.8%>2{\pm}1.4%$, respectively). The MEM group was significantly lower compared to other groups (p<0.05). The developmental rate was highest in the OS group followed by the G2 group and the BM group albeit no statistical significance was noted ($73{\pm}11.6%>71{\pm}9.2%>66{\pm}10.4%$). Of note, all cells of the TCM and MEM groups were died during embryonic development. The zona hatched rate ($51{\pm}9.8%$ vs. $50{\pm}9.1%$ vs. $47{\pm}7.2%$ for BM, G2, and OS respectively) and attached rate ($45{\pm}12.3%$ vs. $38{\pm}16.1%$ vs. $37{\pm}11.5%$ for BM, G2, and OS respectively) were not different amongst groups. No difference was found in total cell numbers ($74{\pm}13.9$ vs. $64{\pm}9.2$ vs. $76{\pm}6.7$ for BM, G2, and OS respectively), ICM cell numbers ($20{\pm}1.9$ vs. $14{\pm}1.8$ vs. $15{\pm}2.1$), TE cell numbers ($55{\pm}12.5$ vs. $49{\pm}10.7$ vs. $61{\pm}5.9$), % ICM ($30{\pm}2.8%$ vs. $24{\pm}7.0%$ vs. $22.8{\pm}2.2%$) and ICM:TE ratio ($1:2{\pm}0.5$ vs. $1:3.1{\pm}0.8$ vs. $1:3.1{\pm}0.5$) amongst groups. In summary, these results can provide fundamental data to maximize culture condition for in vitro fertilization on B6D2F1 mice.
