The Effect of Discount and Promotion towards Customer Purchase Intention in Online Shop

  • Indonesia is currently intensifying its level of awareness of the importance of starting a business as an entrepreneur. How to respond to technological developments to help support the growth of a start-up entrepreneur. Usually before buying a product, customers always think of many factors that can influence their buying decisions in online shopping. The two factors that most influencing are, Discounts and Promotions, which can greatly determine people's purchase intention, before finally buying the product. The researcher begin research with the aim to understand whether these 2 factors are factors that really affect someone's buying interest before doing online shopping. For this study, information and data collected by the survey by using means of questionnaires. And it standard measurements using a 5-point Likert scale, and processed by IBM SPSS Statistics 25 program. In this study, it has been found that indeed these two factors, Discounts and Promotions, are both influential in encouraging someone's purchase intention in conducting online shopping transactions. We found that both factors are significant and influence each other. The results of this study expected to help broaden the horizons of buyers and sellers about the benefits of discounts and promotions in online shopping.

유기농산물 소비자인식이 재구매의사에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Consumer Awareness of Organic Agricultural Products on Repurchase Intention)

  • Purpose - The number of consumers adopting a lifestyle of health and sustainability has recently increased with the rise of trends in healthy living. The size of the organic agricultural product market has also increased given that these consumers prefer consuming environmentally friendly products that promote family health. However, awareness of organic agricultural products remains insufficient because of the characteristics of the Korean organic agriculture system, which only focuses on food safety inspection. The object of this research is to suggest a policy approach to increase understanding and to expand the purchasing of organic agricultural products by analyzing the influence of customer recognition of such products on their willingness to repurchase. Research design, data, and methodology - This study used binomial logistic regression analysis with the aim of explaining the effects of consumers' socio-demographic characteristics, their awareness of the equivalence arrangement for organic food and of the abolishment of low-pesticide agricultural product certification, and their viewing of negative broadcasts about organic agricultural products on their repurchase intention of such products. A questionnaire survey was conducted with 655 respondents who were in their 20s, lived either in Seoul or in its metropolitan area, and had purchased organic agricultural products. Result - From the results of the analysis, the majority of the respondents recognized organic agricultural products, but they found their prices to be expensive. The majority of the respondents were also aware of the certification system and the reliability of organic agricultural products. However, the results indicate that efforts need to be made to recover consumer trust as many respondents stated that their trust levels in these products were low. In general, those purchasing organic agricultural products were satisfied, but those answering "very satisfied" were not in the majority. Binomial logistic regression analysis results revealed that repurchase intention decreased as consumers viewed a greater number of negative broadcasts about these products. On the other hand, repurchase intention increased as they became more aware of the abolishment of low-pesticide certification. Repurchase intention also increased as income increased, as the number of family members decreased, and when a consumer was a member of a consumer organization. In addition, the older the consumers were who watched the TV programs, the smaller the number of family members that were aware of the abolishment of low-pesticide agricultural product certification and, the higher the income of the consumers aware of organic equivalence arrangement, the greater their repurchase intention. Conclusion - External stimuli, such as negative TV programs on organic agricultural products and the abolishment of the low-pesticide agricultural product certification, relevant social issues and systems, influence consumer repurchase intention. To that end, positive environmental and ecological broadcasting about organic agricultural products would contribute to an increase in purchasing. Additionally, this could be used for promotion and marketing plans as the results indicate that trust in organic agricultural products would cause a positive repurchasing effect.

인도네시아 할랄식품 소비자의 인삼·홍삼제품에 대한 인식과 태도 및 이용 실태 (Indonesian Halal Food Consumers' Perception, Attitude and Use of Ginseng and Red Ginseng Products)

  • 수출전략형 할랄식품 개발에 있어서 소비자의 니즈분석과 소비성향 파악은 시장진출의 필수적인 과정이다. 본 연구는 인도네시아 무슬림 소비자의 인삼 및 홍삼제품에 대한 인식과 태도 및 이용실태를 조사하였다. 온라인 시스템을 이용한 웹 기반 설문조사방법으로 인도네시아에 거주하는 성인 남녀 무슬림 소비자 200명을 대상으로 인삼·홍삼제품에 대한 인지도, 섭취경험, 선호 및 비선호요인, 효능인식수준, 구매현황과 구매한 제품에 대한 만족도와 재구매 의사 등을 조사하였다. 연구결과 인도네시아 무슬림 소비자의 인삼·홍삼제품 인지도는 각각 58%, 51%정도로 나타났다. 특히, 남자, 20-30대, 소득이 중·상인 소비자에서 인삼·홍삼제품에 대한 인지도가 상대적으로 높았다. 인도네시아 무슬림 소비자가 인삼·홍삼제품을 섭취하는 이유는 건강증진, 기분전환, 질병예방의 순이었으며, 섭취경험이 있는 소비자는 인삼·홍삼제품의 효능에 대한 인식도가 매우 높았다. 특히, 20-30대는 40-50대 대비 건강증진, 기분전환, 주위권유 등의 이유로 인삼이나 홍삼제품을 섭취하며, 인터넷을 통하여, 면역력 증진, 피로개선, 남자 정력증강에 대한 효능을 알고 있었다. 인도네시아 무슬림 소비자의 인삼이나 홍삼 제품에 대한 만족도는 건강증진, 맛과 향, 포장규격과 디자인 순으로 높았으나 가격, 상품종류의 다양성은 개선할 부분으로 나타났다. 더욱이 지인 추천의향과 지속구입의향은 모두 높은 편으로 나타나 향후 할랄인증 인삼·홍삼제품 소비자의 세분화와 니즈분석을 통한 전략적인 제품개발이 필요하다고 판단된다.

Study on the Recognition and Purchase Status of Eco-Friendly Oral Hygiene Products

  • Background: Plastic waste generates pollutants in the process of incineration or landfilling, and accumulates in water or marine organisms, causing adverse effects on the environment and the human body. Recently, various eco-friendly oral hygiene products (Eco-OHPs) such as bamboo toothbrushes and biodegradable plastic toothbrushes have been developed. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the current level of awareness and purchasing status of eco-OHPs among adults who are interested in eco-friendly products. Methods: This study included adults aged >19 years who regularly visited eco-friendly shops and online sites; the online survey links were distributed during their visits to eco-friendly Internet cafés and companies. Of the 22 questions, seven assessed the participants' general characteristics, three assessed the general oral hygiene care products used, six assessed the level of awareness of Eco-OHPs, and six assessed the purchasing status of Eco-OHPs. Frequency analysis, chi-square test, and regression analysis were performed using SPSS software. Results: Among the respondents, 108 (51.4%) were aware of Eco-OHPs, and 79 (37.6%) had experience purchasing Eco-OHPs. The most common reason for not purchasing was the lack of information about related brands or products (74, 56.5%). The most common platform used in obtaining information was the Internet (general: 31.5%, eco-friendly: 46.3%), such as Social Network Service, Internet cafes, and blogs. The experience in purchasing Eco-OHPs was affected by whether the respondents recognized the possibility of contributing to environmental preservation, availability of vendors, product safety, and the number of eco-friendly products purchased. Conclusion: In order to expand the use of Eco-OHPs, various efforts such as promotion of eco-friendly characteristics, determination of related vendors, reliable analysis of product safety, and expansion of product experience opportunities are required.

애프터시장(판매후시장) 활성화를 위한 국내외 법률 및 표준에 대한 연구 (A Study on Law and Standards for Promotion of Aftermarket)

  • To overcome the ecosystem-crisis of resource depletion and climate change, we should maintain and develop a 'Sustainability' of our society. 'After-market' is defined like this : any market where customers who buy one product or service are likely to buy a related follow-on product. This is related to a automotive, electric and electronic, and remanufacturing industry. 'After-market' will be helpful for reuse and recycling of resources aspects, cost and economic efficiency, low-carbon, climate protection, and new industries and job creation effects, To promote 'After-Market', we need to guarantee the quality of products. In this regard, we refer and introduce a new standard, for example, BS8887, PAS141 and ISO20245 etc. In order to promote 'After-Market', first of all, product quality assurance and safety must be demonstrated in the process of reuse. Second, many aspects of a device that protects the rights of consumers to be provided. And third, the related laws and standards should be reviewed. Finally, original manufacturer's awareness for environmental protection and resource conservation and government's institutional support are needed.

Topics and Sentiment Analysis Based on Reviews of Omni-Channel Retailing

  • Purpose: This study aims to analyze the factors affecting customer satisfaction in the customer reviews of omni-channel, posted on Internet blogs, cafes, and YouTube using text mining analysis. Research, data, and Methodology: In this study, frequency analysis is performed and the LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) is used to analyze social big data to respond to reviewers' reaction to the recently opened omni-channel shopping reviews by L Shopping Company. Additionally, based on the topic analysis, we conduct a sentiment analysis on purchase reviews and analyze the characteristics of each topic on the positive or negative sentiments of omni-channel app users. Results: As a result of a topic analysis, four main topics are derived: delivery and events, economic value, recommendations and convenience, and product quality and brand awareness. The emotional analysis reveals that the reviewers have many positive evaluations for price policy and product promotion, but negative evaluations for app use, delivery, and product quality. Conclusions: Retailers can establish customized marketing strategies by identifying the customer's major interests through text mining analysis. Additionally, the analysis of sentiment by subject becomes an important indicator for developing products and services that customers want by identifying areas that satisfy customers and areas that evoke negative reactions.

  • Domestic and international energy and eco-friendly companies take advantage of social media for image enhancement and product promotion. However, there were no in-depth empirical analysis to verify specific effectiveness of social media use in these sectors. The purpose of this study is to reveal the key factors that are considered to use social media effectively for energy and eco-friendly companies. For this purpose, we regarded the effectiveness of social media as Post Awareness and Word of Mouth. Characteristics of social media as a medium were measured separately, media richness and media genre, as independent variables of social media effectiveness. We investigated 413 posts in Facebook brand page of energy and eco-friendly companies and conducted a content analysis. As a result, post awareness of users was greater when post has richer media such as video. For media genre, word of mouth appeared to be greater when the posts provide information.

한국 마스크팩에 대한 미용종사자들의 인식 조사 (Beauty experts' perception awareness of Korean mask packs)

  • 본 연구는 최근 뷰티 시장에 열풍을 일으키고 있는 한국 마스크팩에 대한 미용종사자들의 인식, 구매행태, 만족도를 조사하여 향후 국내 화장품 산업의 발전과 성장을 위한 방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 조사결과 마스크 팩 구입 결정 시 가장 중요한 요인은 80.6%가 '효능'이라 응답하였고, 마스크팩의 개선되어야 할 점도 33.7%가 '효능'이라고 응답하여 아직까지는 제품의 효능/효과에 대한 소비자들의 신뢰가 부족 한 것을 알 수 있었다. 또, 중국인 소비자들에게 큰 호응을 받는 이유를 'K-뷰티의 영향'이라고 응답하였고, 더 나은 뷰티시장의 활성화에 도움을 줄 수 있는 항목도 'K-뷰티의 광고와 홍보'가 필요하다고 응답하여 제품 자체의 효능이나 신뢰보다는 K-문화에 대한 좋은 인상이 지금과 같은 결과를 이끌어 내고 있는 것으로 생각된다. 따라서 제품의 효능과 사용성이 향상된 우수한 상품 개발로 국내외 소비자들의 품질에 대한 신뢰를 얻는다면 우리나라 K-뷰티 산업은 글로벌시장에서 더욱 성장 할 것으로 판단된다.

우유 공동 광고 캠페인의 개선 방향 및 제언 (Plan and Suggestion for the Cooperatives Milk Campaign Improvement)

  • Since IMF relief financing, domestic economy has been rapidly cooled down. At this point that we predict an overall decrease of production and sale of industries, cooperative marketing activities of the whole dairy industry are required to promote milk consumption. As everyone knows, advertisement is only one of the various factors that affect sales. Other factors include price, distribution, package, promotion, and consumer's needs and taste. The objectives of the cooperative advertising campaign should be trial purchase of new consumers, maintenance of brand loyalty of existing consumers, more positive experience of using the product, and increase of frequency of purchase. Long term analysis is essential to making these kinds of behaviour changes. Also the objectives of the communication program should be a shift of awareness of milk from 'a basic health food for children' to a substitute to the beverage even for adults. To share database of consumers among companies, we need to find ways to use interactive on-line services, the internet, D.M. events and so on as well as the mass media. It should be a precondition that the main body of the cooperative advertisement includes the milk processing board, dairy companies, livestock cooperations, farmers and the Government. To assure continuous, activities to promote milk consumption, the Government should take the lead in legislating 'An enforcement ordinance for milk promotion and research', and seek complementary measures and support to establish the ordinance.

정보보호 산업의 글로벌 시장 동향 (Global market trends of Information Security Industry)

  • 본 연구에서는 타 기술과의 융합을 통하여 그 영역이 지속적으로 확대되고 있는 정보보호 산업의 글로벌 시장동향을 분석하였다. 국내 정보보호 산업 시장은 2013년 현재 국내시장이 세계시장에서 차지하는 점유율이 매우 낮다는 점과 수차례의 보안사고로 인한 경각심 고조, 물리보안 수출의 확대 등의 요인을 고려하면 세계 정보보호 산업에 비해 높은 성장률을 보일 것으로 전망된다. 주목해야 할 점은 국내 시장은 제품시장이 주도하지만, 세계시장은 서비스 시장이 주도할 것이라는 전망이다. 따라서 국내 정보보호 산업의 현재의 부진을 극복하기 위해서는 상대적으로 부가가치가 높은 서비스 시장에 보다 중점을 둔 시장육성 전략이 요구된다.
