항공기 배출량 산정 방법에 따른 공항주변 대기오염 영향분석연구 (Impact of Air Pollutant Emissions from Aircraft on the Air Pollution around Airport)

  • Emissions from aircraft have impacts on the air pollution of airport and the surrounding area. There are methods of emissions calculated as Tier 1, Tier2, Tier 3A and Tier 3B. Thus, this study investigated emissions from aircraft at the Gimhae International Airport using EDMS(Emissions & Dispersion Modeling System) program. Results of estimation from aviation emissions, Tier 3B considering all parts which can occur at the airport has the largest amount emissions. In order to understand the relation between aviation emissions and distribution of ozone concentration over airport area, numerical evaluation were carried out. Although the difference of surface ozone distribution between numerical assessment with and without aviation emissions was little, effects of air pollution at airport area from aviation emissions of NOx and VOCs.

항공보안장비 성능 인증제의 현실과 품질개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Reality and Quality Improvement of Aviation Security Equipments Performance Certification System in Korea)

  • Purpose: This study focused on reality and quality improvement of aviation security equipment performance certification system. Methods: For this propose, we analyzed aviation security equipment performance certification system related legislations. Using analyzed data, we suggested advancement plan of aviation security equipment performance certification system. Results: In results, South Korea has been implementing aviation security performance certification system since October 2018. Parts for improvement of system are mutual certification with major countries that operate aviation security equipment performance certification systems, the spread of the defense industry's system, development of similar substances for handling explosives, and introduction of preliminary inspections. Conclusion: The research result could be used as a basic data for upgrading Korea's aviation security performance certification system.

  • 우주시스템 연구실에서 개발 중인 HAUSAT-2의 피치모멘텀 바이어스 시스템을 설계하고 성능을 검증하였다. HAUSAT-2의 자세제어시스템은 초기자세획득모드와 정상모드로 분리되어 궤도에서 운용된다. 본 논문은 피치모멘텀 바이어스 시스템을 사용하여 위성이 운용될 경우 각 모드에 따라 자세제어가 가능한 범위를 해석하였고 ,모멘팀 휠 구동에 의하여 발생되는 모멘팀 덤핑 현상에 대하여 연구하였다.

  • 2009년 4월 27일 일본과 미국은 항공기 및 부품의 감항성인증을 상호수락하기 위한 항공안전협정(BASA) 및 감항성이행절차(IPA)를 체결하였다. 항공안전협정이 해당 민간항공당국이 수행해야 하는 법적 책임을 경감시키지는 않는다. 다만, 역량있는 상대국가의 감항당국이 해당 민간항공당국을 대신하여 자국의 항공기 인증제도에 필적할 만한 방법으로 수행한 인증기능을 인정하는 방법을 통하여, 해당 민간항공당국은 적합성판정을 함에 있어서 대체방법으로 활용하는 것이다. 이를 통해 항공안전협정은 안전을 저해하지 않으면서 여러 국가의 인증에 소요되는 비용과 시간을 경감시키면서 교역을 촉진하는 데 기여하고 있는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 가장 최근에 미국과 BASA를 체결한 일본의 항공기 인증제도 및 항공안전협정 체결 현황에 대하여 제시한다.

Analysis on the Friction Losses of a Bent-Axis Type Hydraulic Piston Pump

  • The design of an axial piston pump for electro-hydrostatic transmission systems requires accurate information where and how much the internal friction and flow losses are produced. This study is particularly focused on the friction losses of a bent-axis type hydraulic piston pump, aiming at finding out which design factors influence its torque efficiency most significantly. To this end, the friction coefficients of the pump parts such as piston heads, spherical joints, shaft bearings, and valve plate were experimentally identified by a specially constructed tribometer. Applying the experimental data to the equations of motion for pistons as well as to the theoretical friction models for the pump parts, the friction torques produced by them were computed. The accuracy of the computed results was confirmed by the comparison with the practical input torque of the pump. In this paper, it is shown that the viscous friction forces on the valve plate and input shaft bearing are the primary source of the friction losses of the bent-axis type pump, while the friction forces and moments on the piston are of little significance.

항공기 결함과 사고예측시스템 개발 (A Study on Systems Development for Preventing Aviation Deficiency and Accident)

  • There are still occurring aviation accidents in spite of great preventing efforts all over the world. This paper contains some methods to prevent aircrafts deficiencies and accidents. First part of this paper refers to the background of those aviation deficiencies on mechanical, human and environment structures which influence directly to the air accidents and general survey on various theories of the aircraft's systems. On the way we discussed the general situations of the air tool's deficiencies which cause tragic accidents to the human lives and assets. After analysis on the situations we suggest the new systems which would forecast more detail accuracies concerned air elements for the safety flying. Then we introduce the following new systems resulting from the forecasting which can solve problems on aircraft deficiencies and complex interrelationships among air accidental factors. To simplify the complex systems, we needed to build the mechanical and organizational database for maintaining the procedures of the past troubleshooting on the major parts preventing deficiencies of those mechanical units. These suggested systems will contribute a great deal of aids, the maintenance credibility and air safety for the air operations and all customers in the world. Avoiding the past troubleshooting from just by using simple systems which can forecast main causes of the units and parts of the crafts, this system will be able to provide excellent management tools for the promoting aviational industries. The comfortable and convenient air operations are very valuable works, and the scientific method and detail maintenance will improve our daily air life by minimizing accidents. Adapting these developing systems, for the forecasting aircraft deficiencies and accidents can be integrated with the other aircraft management systems to promote more air safety in the world. This study is focused to eliminating aircraft accidents through forecasting deficiency symptom procedures by relational coordinations among all of the systems. Futhermore we need continuously detailed analysis and study for eliminating air accidents all together those who work in those fields.

특정 조건의 비행장에서 장애물제한규정 적용 사례연구 (A Case Study on Application of Obstacle Limitation Criteria for Specific Conditions of Airports)

  • Obstacle defines all fixed and mobile objects, or parts thereof, that are located on an area intended for the surface movement of aircraft or extend above a defined surface intended to protect aircraft in flight or stand outside those defined surfaces and that have been assessed as being a hazard to air navigation. The airspace around airports are maintained free from obstacles so as to permit the intended aeroplane operations at the airports to be conducted safely and to prevent the airports from becoming unusable by the growth of obstacles around the airports. This is achieved by establishing a series of obstacle limitation surfaces or airspace imaginary surfaces that define the limits to which objects may project into the airspace. This is a case study that shows an application of obstacle limitation criteria, which must be maintained free from an critical obstacle, for specific conditions of two airports. For the purpose of the application, aeronautical studies/flight safety influence assessments were used to identify possible solutions and select a solution that is acceptable without degrading aviation safety.

기술집약형 항공엔진 정비산업과 부품인증제도에 관한 고찰 (Study on Technology Intensive MRO and PMA for Aircraft Engine)

  • 미국과 유럽은 대형 항공기 산업을 선도하고 있으며, 아시아-태평양 지역에서는 물동량이 증가하면서 운송산업과 정비산업이 크게 발전할 것으로 전망된다. 또한, 일본과 중국은 중소형 항공기 분야에서 설계 제작국에 진입하였으며, 후발국가의 정비산업도 경쟁이 더욱 가속되고 있다. 향후 10년간 세계의 항공기 정비산업은 연평균 3.4%로 성장하고, 엔진 정비산업은 7%씩 성장할 것으로 전망된다. 본 논문을 통하여 고부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 기술집약형 항공엔진 정비산업 육성 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
