Recent climate change has led to fluctuations in agricultural production, and as a result national food supply has become an important strategic factor in economic policy. As such, in this study, panel data was collected to analyze the effects of seven meteorological elements on the production of five types of grain with error component panel data regression method following the test results of LM tests, Hausman test. The key factors affecting the production of rice were average temperature, average relative humidity and average ground surface temperature. The fluctuations in the other four grains types are not well explained by meterological elements. For other grains and beans, only average temperature and time (year) affect the production of other grains while average temperature, ground surface temperature, and time (year) influence the production of beans. For barley and millet, only average temperature positively affects the production of barley while ground surface temperature and time (year) negatively influence the production of millet. The implications of this study are as follow. First, it was confirmed that the meteorological elements have profound effects on the rice production. Second, when compared to existing studies, this study was not limited to rice but encompassed all five types of grains and went beyond other studies that were limited to temperature and rainfall to include various meteorological elements.
This paper investigates the importance of various environmental factors that have a strong influence on strawberry yields grown in greenhouse using the pattern recognition methods. The environmental factors influencing the production of strawberries were six factors such as average inside temperature, average inside humidity, average $CO_2$ level, average soil temperature, cumulative solar radiation, and average illumination. The results of analyzing the observed data using Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) showed that the most significant factor influencing the strawberry production was average soil temperature, average inside humidity, and cumulative solar radiation. Second, the results of analyzing the observed data using Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) showed that the most influential factors on the strawberry yields, such as average $CO_2$ level, average inside humidity, and average illumination were differently given for each farms. However, these results are based on the distance in 3D space and can be deduced from the fact that there is not a large difference between these distances. Therefore, in order to increase the harvest of strawberries cultivated in the farms, it is necessary to manage the environmental factors such as thoroughly controlling the humidity and maintaining the concentration of $CO_2$ constantly by ventilation of the greenhouse.

The purpose of this study is to predict outlet temperature and humidity through underground pit for the reduction of cooling load and heating load. Commonly, the underground temperature is lower than outdoor in summer but the reverse happens in winter. When the outdoor average air temperature is $25.7^{\circ}C$ during cooling periods, the average outlet air temperature through underground pit is $23.6^{\circ}C$ with 3 m-depth and 60m-length and is $22.2^{\circ}C$ with 3 m-depth and 150 m-length. When the outdoor average air temperature is $4.9^{\circ}C$ during heating periods, the average outlet air temperature through underground pit is $7.7^{\circ}C$ with 3m-depth and 60 m-length and is $10.8^{\circ}C$ with 3 m-depth and 150 m-length. The outlet air temperature is affected by more length than depth of underground pit. The diffusion ratio of outdoor humidity is $-7.7\times10^{-8}kg/s$ in cooling periods and $9.29\times10^{-7}kg/s$ in heating periods.
In this study, nano-sized cobalt oxide powder with an average particle size below 50 nm was prepared from a cobalt chloride solution by the spray pyrolysis process. The influences of reaction temperature on the properties of the generated powder were examined. The average particle size of the particles formed based on the spray pyrolysis process at a reaction temperature of $700^{\circ}C$ is roughly 20 nm. Moreover, most of these particles cannot appear with an independent type, thereby coexisting in a droplet type. When the reaction temperature increases to $800^{\circ}C$, the average particle size not only increases to roughly 40 nm but also shows a more dense structure while the ratio of particles which shows a polygonal form significantly increases. As the reaction temperature increases to $900^{\circ}C$, the distribution of the particles is from roughly 70 nm to 100 nm, while most of the particle surface is more intricately close and forms a polygonal shape. When the reaction temperature increases to $1000^{\circ}C$, the particle size distribution of the powder shows an existing form from 80 nm to at least 150 nm in an uneven form. As the reaction temperature increases, the XRD peak intensity gradually increases, yet the specific surface area gradually decreases.

This study was conducted to classify agroclimatic zones in South Korea. To classify the agroclimatic zones, such climatic factors as amount of rainfall from April to May, amount of rainfall in October, monthly average air temperature in January, monthly average air temperature from April to May, monthly average air temperature from April to September, monthly average air temperature from December to March, monthly minimum air temperature in January, monthly minimum air temperature from April to May, Warmth Index were considered as major influencing factors on the crop growth. Climatic factors were computed from monthly air temperature and precipitation of climatological normal year (1981~2010) at 1 km grid cell estimated from a geospatial climate interpolation method. The agroclimatic zones using k-means cluster analysis method were classified into 6 zones.
The purposes of this study were to determine the actual state of the indoor thermal environment in apartment units and to analyze the relationship between the living factors and indoor thermal elements. The field surveys consisted of measurements of physical elements and observations of living factors. In addition, the residents of 20 apartment units were interviewed to survey their subjective response. Field surveys were carried out from January to March 2007. Measuring elements were air temperature, globe temperature, and relative humidity. The results showed that the average of indoor temperature for the houses was $21.2{\sim}27.2^{\circ}C$, while 4 houses exceeded the comfort zone. The average of globe temperature for the houses was $21.3{\sim}27.5^{\circ}C$, while 6 houses exceeded the comfort zone. The mean relative humidity was $19.5{\sim}58.8%$, which is a relatively dry condition. The residents' average clothing value was $0.39{\sim}0.89$ clo(average 0.68 clo). The average thermal sensation vote on each room was $4.2{\sim}4.8$, which is 'neutral' to 'slightly warm'. Living factors had significant effect on indoor temperature in regression analysis were ventilation time(outdoor air exchange), opening time of door through balcony, and gas cooker use time.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the difference of thermal sensation by radiant floor heating as ecological design element. The experimental investigations were carried out in climate chamber, and subjects were 34 college-age females in good health. The experimental variable was radiant heat by floor heating, and experimental controlled conditions were indoor temperature, relative humidity, and air velocity in climate chamber and clothing value and activity of subjects. The results are as follows. (1) Indoor temperature($21{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$) in climate chamber were maintained as controlling. Clothing values of the subjects were controlled as average 0.73 clo. In the floor heating-off, globe temperature was average $23.2^{\circ}C$(22.4~24.1), but in the floor heating-on, globe temperature was average $24.8^{\circ}C$(23.0~25.5). (2) In the floor heating-off, thermal sensation rating was average -1.03(slightly cool), in the floor heating-on, thermal sensation rating was average +1.03(slightly warm). (3) There were the differences of thermal sensation by radiant floor heating although indoor temperatures were maintained in an equal state. (4) The thermal sensation rating was tending upward according as the globe temperature was getting higher.

In this study, We investigated the effect of foot cooling on the reduction of body temperature after hard exercise at the high temperature of $40^{\circ}C$. We performed a total of 30 subjects, and the subjects performed treadmill exercise for 30 minutes. We produced the cooling device to cool the foot using Peltier module. After the end of the exercise, We performed normal recovery method and cooling recovery method(one foot, both feet) for 1 hour on the same indoor environmental conditions and confirmed the change of body temperature of subjects. The results of deep body temperature measurement showed average $38.78{\pm}0.22^{\circ}C$ to $38.54{\pm}0.15^{\circ}C$ when the normal recovery method was performed. Cooling recovery method on one foot showed average $38.69{\pm}0.14^{\circ}C$ to average $38.06{\pm}0.17^{\circ}C$ and Cooling recovery method on both feet showed average $38.69{\pm}0.15^{\circ}C$ to average $37.84{\pm}0.21^{\circ}C$. There was a significant difference between the normal recovery method and the one foot cooling recovery method(p < .05), there was a significant difference between the normal recovery method and the both feet cooling recovery method(p < .05) and there was a significant difference between the one foot cooling recovery method and the both feet cooling recovery method(p < .05). Body temperature showed the lowest decrease rate when the normal recovery method was performed, and body temperature showed the highest decrease rate when the both feet cooling recovery method was performed. Therefore, recovery of cooling on the foot after hard exercise have decreased body temperature, delay fatigue in the body, and will be contributed to improvement of athlete performance.

In order to understand the stimulation quality of Artemisine Vulgaris Folium(Bong), Mori Ramulus(Sangi) and Persicae Ramulus(Dogi) combustion, and get the basic data for the development of electric moxibustion apparatus, the average temperature, peak temperature, average gradient temperature, maximum gradient temperature and combustion time of heating period on the three moxa materials were measured. 1. The average combustion temperature was high in order of Dogi, Sangi and Bong, and these were acknowledged to have a significant difference each other in the average temperature. 2. The peak combustion temperature among those was high in order of Dogi, Sangi and Bong, and Bong was acknowledged to have significant differences with Dogi and Sangi. Sangi and Dogi however were not acknowledged to have difference each other. 3. The average gradient temperature among those was high in order of Dogi, Sangi and Bong, and Bong was proved to have significant differences with Dogi and Sangi. Sangi and Dogi however were not proved to have difference each other. 4. The maximum temperature among those was high in order of Dogi, Sangi and Bong, bong was acknowledged to have signigicant differences with Dogi and Sangi, but Sangi and Dogi were not proved to have difference each other. 5. The combustion time was short in order of Dogi, Sangi and Bong. Bong was acknowledged to have significant differences with Dogi and Sangi, but Sangi and Dogi were not. In order to understand well the characteristics of combustion, it is required to have a quantitative interpretation of combustion calory, and, in the future, we expect it is required to have a consistent study for the clinical effectiveness and the mutual relationship according to the combustion characteristics.
Background: Mobile phone has become a very popular device used in everyday our lives. However, the possible hazard to human body such as brain tumor has been proposed intermittently. This unwanted possibility was calmed down due to the absence of definite evidence of hazard. This study was performed to see the effect of mobile phone use on the brain temperature. Methods: In 20 volunteers, we performed 4 steps of temperature measuring procedure. Four steps are pre-use (S1, basal state), wire-phone (S2, conventional telephone), PCS phone (S3, using 1,750~1,900 MHz), cellular phone (S4, using 820 MHz) states. Brain temperatures were measured by radiothermometer at 10 sites (5 sites in each hemisphere) of the brain after 5minutes of telecommunication through the phones. The final data were compared using paired t-test. Results: In PCS phone user group (Average; $35.73708^{\circ}C$), brain temperature decreased (with statistical significance, p<0.05), compared to those of non-user group (Average; $35.9527^{\circ}C$) or conventional wire phone user group. In cellular phone user group (Average; $35.82155^{\circ}C$), brain temperature decreased slightly (without statistical significance, p>0.05) compared to those of non-user group (Average; $35.9527^{\circ}C$) or conventional wire phone user group (Average; $35.922^{\circ}C$). The temperature change was not limited to the mobile phone applied side but on both hemisphere of the brain. Conclusion: In conclusion, mobile phone (especially PCS phone) decreased brain temperature in both hemispheres without side-to-side temperature difference. In addition, this study suggests possibility of radiothermometer application to the study of electromagnetic wave effect and protection method research in the future.
