메인 배터리와 보조 배터리 충전을 위한 PHEV용 하이브리드 시스템 (Hybrid System for PHEV to Charge Main and Auxiliary Battery)

  • 본 논문에서는 전기 자동차와 계통의 양방향 충-방전 동작이 가능한 완속 충-방전 시스템과 차량 전장용 에너지 공급을 위한 LDC용 보조 배터리를 충전시키는 시스템을 Select Switch의 설정에 따라 선택적으로 운용 할 수 있는 두 가지 기능을 갖는 하이브리드 충-방전 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 계통과 메인 배터리의 양방향 충-방전 동작과 메인 배터리에서 보조 배터리로 에너지 전달을 하는 동작을 수행하며, DC-link와 메인 배터리와의 에너지 전달을 모두 Interleaved 방식으로 동작시킴으로써 전기 에너지의 활용도를 높일 수 있다. PSIM 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션으로 본 논문의 타당성을 검증하고자 한다.

  • This paper proposes a new series-connected diode rectifier which draws sinusoidal input currents. The proposed rectifier system is configured by adding an auxiliary circuit to the conventional 12-pulse series-connected diode rectifier and employing a current injection technique. A low kVA($0.02P_{\circ}$(PU) ) active current source injects a triangular current into the interphase reactor of the diode rectifier. The current injection results in near sinusoidal input current from the utility with less than 1% THD. The resulting system is suitable for high voltage and high power applications. Experimental and simulation results are provided from a 220V, 3kVA prototype rectifier system.

  • This paper presents a new method to reducing inrush current and energy saving of capacitor starting single-phase induction motor used in air-conditioner. It can be obtained that proposed system is low cost and small size as compared with other controller. Experiments are focused on a capacitor starting single-phase induction motor. The optimal power saving and in-rush current limiting by phase angle control are verified by experimental results. Also, auxiliary winding was controlled by electronic starting switch.

  • RFID system is applied to identify, locate and track people, cars, animals. In RFID system, the passive transponder without battery has some benefits than active transponder, such as no restriction in battery exchange and in battery’s life. But it needs auxiliary RF-DC conversion circuit. RF-DC conversion circuit originated from Wireless Power Transmission (WPT). In this paper, RF-DC conversion circuit consists of a microstrip patch antenna and impedance matching circuit, Cock-croft Walton circuit. And RF-DC conversion circuits have two kinds of T-type and Cross-type impedance matching circuits.

  • The nitrogen oxides, NO and NO2, abbreviated usually as NOx, emitted from combustion facilities such as power plants and automobiles are the topical air-pollutants causing acid rain and photochemical smog. In order to solve the NOx-related pollution problems effectively, we need efficient techniques to monitor NOx in the combustion exhausts and in environments. Development of solid-state electrochemical devices for detecting NOx is demonstrated based on various combination of solid electrolytes and auxiliary sensing materials. The object of this research is to develop various sensor performance for solid state amperometric sensor, and to test gas sensor performance manufactured. So we try to present a guidance for developing amperometric gas sensor. We concentrated on development of manufacturing process and performance test.

  • This paper proposes a new levitation scheme for EDS MAGLEV vehicle with AC superconducting magnet(ACSCM). The eddy current and the levitation force are generated at all speed including stand still in this scheme, therefore, the auxiliary wheels on DCSCM can be eliminated. To reduce the ac loss of the magnet, the ACSCM also can be operated as a DCASCM at high speed because levitation force generated by DCSCM is enough at high speed. To prove the effectiveness of the proposed scheme, the repulsive force and power loss versus frequency of ACSCM is calculated. For comparison, characteristics of DCSCM of same cross section versus speed are also given. (author). 6 refs., 9 figs.

  • The crane operates in three directions, hoisting, traversing, and travelling motion. In this study, an AC drive system for these motions of the crane is developed and tested. The command from an operator is transmitted to PLC, which sends data to a main controller by fieldbus protocols such as Profibus or Devicenet. And the main controller is connected to other auxiliary ones by CAN bus. The each controller, which has the same structure, regulates its motor speed from the operator's command.

  • 본 논문에서는 3상 220V/5kVA 소프트스위칭 인버터의 새로운 회로구성을 제안하고 그 동작과 성능을 분석한 내용을 기술하고 있다. 제안하는 소프트스위칭 인버터는 ARCP(Auxiliary Resonant Commutated Pole) 인버터의 회로구성과 유사한 구조이나 이와 달리 LC 공진회로와 Diode 클램프 회로로 구성되어 있다. 이론적인 분석과 실험을 통해 제안하는 인버터의 효율을 분석하고 이를 하드스위칭 인버터와 비교하여 약 1% 정도의 효율 개선이 가능함을 알 수 있었다. 제안하는 인버터는 소프트 스위칭을 위해 소프트스위칭 보조회로와 게이트 드라이버가 추가로 장착되는 점에서 비용적인 경쟁력이 떨어질 수 있다. 그러나 최근 수요가 급증하고 있는 인버터에서 1% 효율 차이는 전력수급의 효율화를 통해 비용 측면에서 경쟁력을 갖을 것으로 판단된다. 또한 소프트스위칭 회로의 컴팩트화와 하드웨어의 최적화된 물리적 배치를 통해 추가의 효율증대가 가능할 것으로 보인다.

  • A regenerative signal amplifying gate driver of self-excited electronic ballast is presented. It can be used for high pressure sodium (HPS) lamp without auxiliary external ignitor. Since the HPS lamp requires very high ignition voltage at start up, the resonant frequency of the circuit must be increased to obtain high voltage oscillations in spite of relatively small resonant current. The presented gate driver amplifies the current of gate drive transformer and raises the gate-source voltage Quickly to turn on the MOSFET switches. Hence, the resonant frequency can be increased more than 100kHz. The HPS lamp used in the simulation and experiment has the rating of 400W input power at 220V input ac voltage source. The experiments show that the resonant frequency is above 150kHz at start up.

  • A FB-ZVS(Full Bridge Zero Voltage Switching) PWM DC/DC converter for electric vehicles is simulated and implemented in this paper. The converter considered is a step-down DC/DC converter with the ratings of 312/13.5V and 1.35kW. The steady state operation of this converter is divided into six operating modes in case of continuous current mode and eight operating modes in case of discontinuous current mode. Digital simulations using PSpice are carried out to verify the steady-state analysis. A prototype converter was built in the laboratory. MOSFETs were used for swithching devices and fast recovery diodes to reduce the charge storage problem of a pn-junction.
